Lovely,

Lovely.

Welcome everybody to stillness with Patti.

Taking a moment to let yourselves arrive in this space.

Taking a moment to let yourself come present.

When you're ready you can close the eyes.

And doing that in a place where it's safe to do that.

Safe to close the eyes and relax deeply.

Bringing your awareness to your chest and noticing the rise and fall of your own chest as the breath moves in and out of your body.

Simply noticing that rise and fall.

And sending a message to your body now that all permission is here to relax deeply.

Feeling an invitation to relax more and more deeply with each breath that you take.

And breathing that relaxation all the way down into your feet,

Into your ankles,

Into your lower legs.

Letting those parts of the body relax deeply now.

Breathing relaxation into your knees,

Into your thighs and into your hip joints.

And feeling those parts of the body relax now.

Breathing relaxation into the lower back.

We tend to hold a lot of tension in the lower back.

So just letting yourselves focus here for a moment.

Just breathing relaxation into your lower back.

And as you do that,

You feel it spreading throughout your pelvis,

Into your belly.

As that whole area of the body,

The lower back,

The pelvis,

The belly,

As that whole area relaxes even more deeply.

A feeling of letting go.

And breathing relaxation into the middle back and the upper back,

Into the chest and the internal organs.

And feeling that relaxation spreading now throughout the middle back,

The upper back,

The chest and all the internal organs.

So easy.

So deeply relaxing.

This relaxation spreads up over the shoulders,

Down the upper arms,

Into the elbows,

Into the forearms,

The wrists,

The hands,

The fingers.

And taking a moment to feel that,

Feeling the quality of that deep,

Delicious relaxation moving through the body now.

And the relaxation moves up your neck,

Into the jaw.

It covers the face and your head.

And gently breathing into that,

That relaxation spreading up the neck,

Into the jaw,

Around the face and over the back of the head.

And sending permission for your body to relax even more deeply.

This blanket of soft,

Soothing,

Warm relaxation spreading around every part of you.

And you feel your mind relaxing.

It's as if you can't keep hold of a thought,

They just drift through like clouds.

And you take your awareness into your own body,

Into your own inner world.

And give yourself permission to relax even more deeply.

All emotions relax.

All beliefs relax.

All physical sensations relax.

And just breathing into this deep relaxation now.

As if the relaxation is breathing you.

Letting the relaxation breathe you.

Everything else just falls away.

Dissolves away,

Melts away.

And in this space of deep,

Profound relaxation,

Permission to let go of anything that is no longer serving you.

And trusting the body wisdom,

You don't even need to know what those things are.

Trusting that the innate body wisdom knows exactly what is no longer serving you and can just let go.

Be released.

Be allowed to flow away.

And as that happens you find yourself sinking into the soft quietness.

Everything feels so effortless,

So easy,

So peaceful.

Just breathing into the quietness.

Breathing in quietness.

Breathing out quietness.

Breathing in quietness.

Breathing out quietness.

And you soften even more deeply into this quiet space.

Letting the quietness wrap itself around you.

Soft,

Warm,

Calm.

Peaceful,

Quiet.

And giving yourself permission to sink even more profoundly into this peace.

This quiet.

Resting in the quiet.

Deepening into the quiet.

Every breath.

Every moment.

Quiet.

Completely held by the quiet.

Sinking even more fully into the quiet.

Profound rest.

And if you'd like to continue to deepen into the quietness.

You can do that now.

You can drop off the call.

Pause the recording.

And let yourself continue to open and deepen into this profound peace and quiet.

Otherwise taking a quiet breath in.

And letting it go.

And another soft,

Gentle,

Profoundly quiet breath in.

And exhaling.

And ever so gently inviting the body back into this time,

This space.

You can gently start to move the fingers,

The toes.

You can place your hands on any part of the body.

And just gently rub the body.

And as you stroke the body.

Do let yourselves come back.

Coming back.

A beautiful meditation! I particularly liked the concept of trusting that my body and Spirit will know what to release in order for me to reach a state of deep relaxation, instead of thinking that I have to actively search for, and choose, the things I most need to release. I will be sharing this. 🙏
