Welcome to our October meditation.

We will be using Ciro Essential Oil.

As always,

If you don't have it,

You can just call in the energy of the plant and you will experience whatever you're meant to experience.

So gather all of your supplies,

Get comfortable.

Try to be in a place that's quiet,

Minimal distractions.

For this meditation,

I suggest that you find yourself in a position that you feel very safe in.

For me,

I will be laying flat on my back with the soles of my feet touching.

This is one of my favorite meditation positions of all time.

But it's also one that tends to make you a little sleepy,

So if you want to stay awake,

You might be better off in a seated position.

Once you get yourself settled and into that position,

Take your right hand and place it on your belly just for a minute.

And take your left hand and place it over your heart.

Close your eyes and notice how quickly we settle in.

Immediately,

There is a recognition that we're slowing down,

That we're turning inward.

So allow yourself a few natural breaths here,

Regulating your nervous system.

And then when you're ready,

Grab your bottle of Ciro,

Put a single drop on your pointer finger.

And we're going to be using a point that is not on the acupoint chart that I gave you.

We're going to be using the point for Lung 2,

Which is very easy to find.

You can just take your middle finger and begin at the little notch in your throat,

Trace your clavicle all the way to the point where it sort of meets your shoulder.

Right before there,

You'll feel a little notch.

When you get to that notch,

That'll be Lung 2.

So you can take your pointer finger once you've found the spot with the oil,

The pointer finger with the Ciro,

And gently lay one finger on each side.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Allowing your eyes to just gently float upwards,

Softening your face.

Noticing how Ciro instantly brings you into instant focus.

You're not ruminating on the past,

You're not daydreaming about the future,

You're just right here in whatever position you've chosen with your fingers resting on the point,

Your belly rising and falling.

But there's a softness to this focus.

There isn't an edginess,

There's no rush.

Just acute awareness.

Allow yourself to just sit with the plant,

With Ciro,

Inviting it to work its way into all the hidden places,

To wrap itself around all the wounds,

The seen and the unseen.

Allow it to sort through what needs to stay and what's ready to be released.

Take note of any thoughts that come to mind,

Any memories,

Any emotions.

Allow them to float in,

Allow them to float out.

When you're ready,

Release your hands if that feels comfortable to you.

Our breath this month is going to be a simple inhale and exhale with keen awareness.

We won't be counting,

We won't be holding,

We won't be manipulating,

We will just be experiencing the inhale,

Filling up the inspiration,

Feeling the rise of your body and then the exhale.

Release the letting go,

The contraction,

Inhaling,

Expansion,

Space,

Nourishment,

Exhaling,

Release,

Letting go,

Purifying,

Follow your own breath,

Dancing through the cycle of inhaling,

Exhaling,

Maybe noticing the spaces in between each in-breath and out-breath.

And then expand your view,

Feel every part of yourself,

Feel where skin touches skin.

Notice any areas in your body that may feel tingly,

Maybe you have certain areas that feel irritated right now or uncomfortable,

Areas in your body that feel tense and inflexible,

Very rigid,

Stiff structure.

With each inhale,

Soften around the edges.

Now imagine yourself standing by a stream,

You notice the brilliant colors of fall are surrounding you,

Oranges,

Reds,

Browns,

See the leaves as they drop,

Slowly dancing on the wind.

Notice that there are a handful of leaves right by your feet,

Laying on the ground.

Pick one up and in your mind's eye infuse it with the thought of something that you would like to release,

Something you've been carrying for way,

Way too long.

Imagine the energy of that thought becoming one with the leaf and then gently drop that leaf into the river,

Watch it float away,

Allow the river to carry what's no longer necessary away from you.

Do this over and over until you feel complete,

Until you feel cleansed,

A sense of relief washes over you,

A feeling of lightness follows,

There's a spark of energy,

A joy that's lit up every time we let go of something that no longer serves us.

Thanking Soreau for this gift of clarity,

Of pointed attention,

Of clear introspection,

Invite her to cut away all the things that are floating down the river,

Allow her to gift you with discernment,

To know what serves you and what holds you back.

And then ask her,

Ask Soreau if there is a particular message or something that she wants you to know.

Slowly,

Gently,

Begin to bring yourself back into your space,

Feeling the room around you,

Coming back to the rise and fall of your breath,

Noticing the edges of your skin,

Begin wiggling your fingers and toes.

Whenever you're ready and called to do so,

Gently,

Ever so sweetly and slowly begin to open your eyes,

Being brought back to the space and time that you were in when we began.

Rub the palms of your hands together,

Create some heat,

Maybe tap your thighs with the palms of your hands,

Making sure that you're completely back in your body and then stretch,

Stretch,

Stretch,

Bottom to the top,

Top to the bottom.

Welcome back.

Now take a few minutes,

Grab a journal or a piece of paper,

Even your iPhone,

And jot down a few sensations,

Thoughts,

Messages,

Emotions,

Anything that came through for you.

If you'd like,

You can share it in our community section.

I would love,

Love to read how that meditation felt for you.

Okay,

Until next time,

I'll see you soon.
