Welcome to your meditation.

Please find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down now for the next 10 minutes or so.

Make sure that you're sitting or lying in a comfortable position.

Turn off your phone,

Unless you're listening to this on your phone.

Put up the Do Not Disturb sign.

Make sure that you're warm enough.

You might want to get some lavender oil.

Put a little bit on your hands.

Rub them together and take a nice,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

Sink into this comfortable position and now gently close your eyes.

And I just want you to begin by becoming aware of your breath.

Feel the breath as it enters the cool feeling in through your nose and then warming as it gently travels down into your lungs.

And now fill your lungs with a deep inhalation,

Bringing oxygen,

Energy,

Life force,

Vitality into your body.

And as you exhale,

Allow your body to release any toxins,

Fatigue,

Any stress,

Or any negativity that's no longer serving your greatest good.

Just feel all of that leaving your body with your breath.

You can always use breathing techniques to change your brain chemistry if you feel stuck,

If you feel stressed.

Stop.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your nose and allow your body to fully relax,

Releasing what is no longer serving you.

Continue to stay with your breath.

With every inhalation,

You're sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Feel the peace and the tranquility of just allowing your body to rest.

Take five slow,

Deep breaths,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.

Relax your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your arms,

Your legs,

Your torso.

Continue breathing.

Become aware of your body.

How heavy,

Relaxed,

And peaceful you feel.

Your body is feeling warm from all of the oxygen.

And just see your energy merging with the energy around you.

That's merging with the greater energy of the universe.

See all of that energy shining as brightly as the Sun.

Continue relaxing as you feel that oneness,

A safety,

A security.

Your entire body is relaxed in that warmth.

And now it's easy for you to visualize with perfect clarity.

So I want you to bring to mind the way that you are in reference to pleasure.

Do you regularly prioritize your own pleasure?

Really think about it.

Because how can we expect others to prioritize our pleasure if we don't?

And there are so many good and healthy,

Sound reasons for us to focus on prioritizing our pleasure.

One is that it's really good for you.

It's good for your body.

It's good for your mind.

From delicious food,

An amazing cup of coffee,

Orgasmic sex,

Or even just laughing hysterically with your girlfriends,

The human brain is wired to detect and crave pleasure.

That feeling of happy satisfaction,

That feeling of enjoyment.

There's a deep sense of ease and expansion that comes when you allow yourself to simply do something for no other reason than it makes you feel good.

You might want to do something just because it's fun.

A lot of times these are the things that we lose as we become adults,

As we become overly responsible in life.

When you really prioritize experiencing pleasure regularly,

It adds so much value to your life.

It's an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

It helps relieve stress.

It really has the power to change your brain chemistry.

It's completely vital to our health,

Happiness,

And overall well-being.

So we're going to focus on prioritizing daily pleasure,

Really getting into what makes you feel good.

What does your body need,

Want,

Like?

What do you enjoy doing?

A friend of mine,

Mama Gina,

Is a pleasure expert,

And she says it's easy to live a miserable life,

But it takes great skill to do things differently and live a pleasure-filled life.

Because it's really courageous,

And you are courageous.

And this is something that no one else can do for us.

So let's approach prioritizing pleasure as a fun assignment that we get to do.

Let's luxuriate in thinking about what we want,

What brings us pleasure.

This is not another task to add to your to-do list.

We need to exercise this pleasure muscle daily to strengthen us and to normalize the experience of having more pleasure.

The more you do it,

The easier it becomes and the better you feel.

Giving ourselves big and small pleasures every damn day is really a way to be empowered.

When you think about it,

If we only allow ourselves the pleasure that others give to us,

Then we are dependent on them for something that we can,

And in my estimation,

Should be doing for ourselves too.

So it's not about rejecting the pleasure from others.

You deserve to prioritize your pleasure,

What you get from others,

And what you create any time you want.

Feel into our affirmation,

I prioritize my pleasure with ease and excitement.

I prioritize my pleasure with ease and excitement.

Take the next minute or so to silently repeat the affirmation in your mind,

I prioritize my pleasure with ease and excitement,

And I will let you know when it's time to come back.

I prioritize my pleasure with ease and excitement.

Start to bring your attention back to your body,

Back to the room that you're in.

Take a nice long slow deep breath and stretch your hands and rock your feet and gently open your eyes.

I'm asking you to commit to incorporating at least one pleasurable thing in your daily routine simply because you like it and it makes you feel good.

I hope you have an amazing pleasure-filled day and as always,

Take care of you.
