Hello and welcome.
I want to thank you for joining me in this meditation for stability and gratitude.
During stressful times in our lives it's vital to center ourselves and appreciate the present moment.
Let's take this time to breathe deeply,
Ground ourselves into the earth,
And cultivate gratitude for all the things that we have right now in our lives.
Remember if you are good in this moment then things are good.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold at the top for a moment and then slowly exhale through your mouth,
Feeling the tension leaving your body with each breath.
Continue on with this relaxed slow breathing,
Allowing each inhale to fill you with calm and each exhale to release any stress or anxiety.
Bring your attention to your body.
Feel the weight of your body pressing down into your seat,
Connecting you to the earth beneath you.
Notice the sensations you feel as you connect with the surface.
Imagine roots growing from your soles of your feet,
Extending deep into the earth,
Anchoring you securely.
Feel the support of the ground beneath you.
This connection to the earth provides stability and grounding.
Allow yourself to feel safe and secure in this moment,
Knowing that you are fully supported.
Next,
Bring your awareness to your heart center and if you're comfortable you could put both hands on your heart.
Think about something you're very grateful for in this moment.
It could be something big or small.
Perhaps it's the comfort of the surface you're lying on or sitting on,
The love of a family member,
Or just a simple joy of a quiet morning.
As you breathe in,
Let this feeling of gratitude fill your heart.
Feel it expanding with each inhale,
Spreading warmth and light throughout your body.
With each exhale,
Let go of any negativity or worries that are lingering.
Take this moment right now to think of three things you're grateful for and visualize them clearly in your mind and feel into the gratitude.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Focus on the present moment.
Remind yourself that this moment is all you have and right now you are good.
If you are good,
Then things are good.
Let this truth sink in,
Bringing you peace and clarity.
Feel the sense of safety and security that you've cultivated and know that you can carry this feeling with you throughout your day.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed,
Return to this moment of grounding and gratitude.
When you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and come back into your body,
Bringing your awareness back to your surroundings.
Take one final deep breath in and as you exhale,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this feeling of grounded gratitude with you into every moment of your day.
Remember,
Practicing this daily can help you stay standard and appreciate the beauty in your life,
No matter the external circumstances.
Thank you for taking this time for yourself today.
Namaste.
