Deep breath,

Taking a moment to come back to the awareness of your body.

Are you sitting slouched or uncomfortably?

Just take a moment to move your body gently,

Finding most comfortable posture so that you're supported,

Breathing deeply into the abdomen,

Shoulders back,

Sternum pointing outwards,

Body relaxed,

Lower back relaxed,

Any tension that your awareness becomes aware of,

Just relaxing this tension on the out-breath.

As you let go in this way,

The body is a beautiful temple,

Helps you to recognize the little steps that you can take to come back to a heart-centered space deep within.

Now listening to your body is just being open and receptive to those parts of your body that are tense,

Being aware of the cortisol perhaps or the other hormones that move through your body when you're in a state of tension.

Moving back to the heart center requires that you let go of this tension on the out-breath so that you come back to the purity of just pure awareness of this moment.

It's almost as if you glimpse consciousness,

A reality that helps us to remember that we are much more than our thoughts,

Much more than our feelings,

Much more than our perception.

That experience is deeply healing,

The state of equilibrium that then helps us to move on to the next step when it comes to meditational practice.

The next step is affirming that you are present in a heartfelt way,

Present to the transformation and often it's useful to use the body to remember what this means.

When the body is bombarded by hormones and signals,

Energy signals from the nervous system and the vagus nerve for example is just not in a happy state,

Then we need to remind ourselves of what it means to come back to the heart.

So if you take a moment now and place one of the palms of your hands over your heart and remain anchored in that space of connection because this is what you're doing.

You're allowing your body to reveal the communication in a more clear way through your breath and through being aware of the heart area.

Yes,

You can repeat this in any way that is comfortable.

Yes,

I am present to your heart.

What do you need?

What is it that you are open and receptive to receiving?

Now,

You don't want the mind to immediately say ah yes,

This is what you need or this is important for you or whatever.

The mind is always in a busy state and always trying to create something of significance but truly the mind is not about connecting to your wisdom at this stage.

The mind is just about being there,

Present to the energy flow which you are bringing into your practice by asking,

Being curious.

This state of curiosity is truly important when it comes to meditation,

Being curious as to what it is that your heart needs.

Now,

Curiosity means that you're open to the unknown,

To the mystery of life.

You can place the other hand up towards the heavens and affirm that what you're receiving,

The perfection of this moment,

Is all that the heart needs to open up and to communicate to your mind,

To your feelings,

The positivity and beauty of being.

So,

One hand is placed on the heart area,

The other hand is up towards the space around you,

Towards the cosmos with its infinite potential communicating to the palms of your hands.

And when you sense this,

It doesn't have to be that you understand what the communication is,

But when you sense you're in connection,

You're affirming but you're also in a state of connection to the cosmos,

To divine presence in all and everything,

Then bring that palm of your hand towards the heart and cover the other palm of your hand with this palm of the hand and then open up,

Release,

Open up the hands,

Both hands in this sort of prayer position,

Open and receptive to the revelation that is unfolding.

This movement is very sacred and it's beautiful to do this practice in nature,

Where the purity of nature communicates to you,

The purity of being.

Remember,

Putting your hand as you did over your heart acts like a beautiful anchor,

It connects you to that which is deeper than your mind,

That which is deeper than your feelings,

That which is deeper than your thoughts.

But it's not enough to be connected in this way,

It's important that the heart is curious and open and receptive to the flow that you are now receiving in your body,

And this flow moves through you but doesn't stop in any part of your being,

You're just the channel open to the deeper currents of being and communicating that wonderful flow to the universe.

As a prayer or as a sense of gratitude or thankfulness,

You can communicate without words even,

Without anything that connects the body to the mundane world,

Just as a channel you're able to affirm this flow that's moving through you and beam this back to the cosmos.

So then there is a circle which is the symbol of infinity,

No beginning and no end.

You can imagine your circulating divine presence through you,

Through all parts of you,

Through the cells of your body,

Through your thoughts,

Through your feelings and the resonance that you create through the flow allows for a deep transformation,

So the healing,

The reset,

The restructuring within your physical body,

Emotional body and mental body happens without an effort.

There is a sense of calmness that you bring into this space as you bring divine presence deeper into this heartfelt space that is the spiritual heart and you can breathe in a rhythmical way,

In a calm rhythmical way,

You can visualize and imagine so that the cleansing,

Purifying that happens is even more present to your thoughts,

Even more thoughts,

Even more present to your feelings,

So you sense you're connected to the transformation in a mundane way through your thoughts.

Your thoughts begin to transform from repetitive,

Reactive thoughts to ones that are perhaps symbolic,

More creative,

More of a picture,

An integrated picture rather than just parts of the picture bombarding you with a chaotic rhythm or resonance that doesn't make sense.

It's almost as if the symphony of the cosmos celebrates the calmness and well-being that you bring into your daily,

Mundane,

Everyday life.

It's important to just take time as you're doing now.

This time that you've given to yourself helps you to release the overwhelm and the overload that the mind loses itself in,

That the mind reacts to around us because of social and cultural and constellational connections that we have with the world.

Take a few moments now as your awareness brings you back to the spiritual heart,

Relaxing the body posture so that you're open to the shift that is happening,

The shift from the mundane state of consciousness to the meditational state of consciousness that allows for intuitive understanding to be revealed to you,

One step at a time,

Just like your breath,

Breathing in deeply,

One breath at a time,

No rush,

Just a wonderful movement,

Flow of energy connecting you to your potential,

To the infinite potential that is divine presence,

Potential in all and everything within you and around you that inspires you,

That feeds your being with wisdom,

This beautiful spiritual practice wisdom that then guides you one step at a time.

Let's take a moment to practice together in stillness,

Deep breath in and a deep breath out,

Extending the out-breath,

Repeating the mantra,

The sacred sound,

Shem,

Continue,

Deep breath,

Take a moment to integrate the stillness as you gently become aware of your environment,

Become aware of your body,

Resting on the chair or lying on a mat,

Wiggling your toes,

Moving your hands a little,

Gently stretching as you breathe in,

Bringing this sense of awakening into your everyday world,

Awaken to the deeper and more subtle communications around you,

There are all sorts of synchronicities and beautiful revelations that once we're free of a busy mind,

We begin to notice in our environment,

In nature,

In all creation,

There is this reflection of beauty,

Maybe this can be your intention for today,

Open and receptive,

When you're ready,

Coming back,

Writing in your journal,

Hydrating,

Drinking some water or tea and enjoying the rest of your day today.

Thank you.
