So,

Welcome,

Let's start with some short ceremony,

Just to make sure that we are all aligned.

So let's sit comfortably,

Making sure that our phone is silent.

Let's take a deep breath in,

And let go.

Let's close our eyes,

Take another deep breath in,

And let go.

And the next breath in,

We keep in,

We don't breathe out.

And then slowly breathe out,

And let go.

Let go of all your efforts,

Let go of everything that already happened in the past,

And let go of everything that may happen in the future.

And allow your breath to guide you back to the present moment,

To whatever is happening right now.

Become aware of all the sounds and smells,

The temperature of the air on your skin.

Become aware of the posture of your body,

Without moving anything,

Just observe.

You may scan your body internally,

From the tip of your toes to the top of your head,

Making sure there is no tension hiding anywhere in your body,

Especially around the belly area.

It allows those muscles around your belly to loosen and relax.

The chest,

Shoulders are loose,

The face is smooth,

The whole body comfortable and relaxed.

Become aware of the breath,

As it happens in its own natural rhythm.

Every breath in fills your body with oxygen,

With life.

And every breath out cleanses the body and relaxes more and more.

And as the breath continues to happen,

Allow your attention to move forward and observe your thoughts.

Observe your thoughts as they come and go,

Passing through your awareness,

Like clouds in the sky,

Without getting too entangled or carried away by any specific thought.

You just observe as they pass by.

Become aware of every phenomenon that happens around you and within you.

And as the realm of phenomena continues to flow endlessly,

Allow your attention to break from that and turn to face itself,

The origin of awareness,

That space within that exists before and beyond any phenomena,

Where there is no movement,

There is only silence.

And for a moment,

Become that silence.

And another deep breath in,

And gently allow your attention to come back to the present moment.

Become aware of your body and this room.

Become aware of your presence here,

A part of our virtual circle.

Let us unite our individual intentions into one unified intention.

The intention to grow,

To develop,

To evolve.

With a smile,

Let's take another deep breath in,

Gently.

And when you feel comfortable,

You may open your eyes.

So,

Welcome everyone to this unique opportunity we give ourselves to stop the rush for an hour,

Hold hands,

And walk the path together.

Not just as individuals,

But also as a united consciousness,

Striving to evolve.

And we harness the power of the longing for the truth that hides between the question and the answer in order to do that.

So,

This is the opportunity for you to air all those questions that are still unanswered,

And be courageous about it.

Don't hide behind your anonymity.

Put yourself on the line.

This is the time to offer these as an offering to the divine.

Who wants to be the first one to jump into the water today?

Just to warm you up,

Last meeting we were discussing Krishnamurti,

Remember?

Krishnamurti is a spiritual teacher that lived in the last century in India.

He had an amazing,

Amazing life story.

And his teaching was all about remaining in the question.

Keep your consciousness fresh from previous conceptions and ideas.

Go back to the question again and again.

Every time you feel that you have an answer,

Doesn't matter how convenient,

How convincing it is,

Let's put it aside and go back to the question.

Those questions,

He said,

Will help you evolve.

He said people that are looking for absolute questions are doomed to never reach the shores that they long for.

Do you want me to tell you his life story?

A tie.

Truth is a pathless land,

Man.

It's a Zipco today.

Truth is the pathless land.

Truth is a pathless land.

Pathless land.

Pathless lands.

Get up.

I think it's a terrible mistake that nobody made a movie about his life yet.

I'm sure it will happen.

But one of the most incredible life stories I've ever encountered.

Are you interested?

Yes or no?

You're getting hearts.

Hearts is a yes?

Yeah.

Okay.

So back in the 18th century,

There was a big spiritual movement called the Theosophical Society.

They were based in Europe,

But they had branches all over.

And,

You know,

The scripts were talking about the revelation of a new type of Messiah that will help humanity to make that quantum leap of consciousness forward and free everyone.

And in the early 19th century,

Sorry,

In the early 20th century,

Their council decided it's time to find that Messiah.

So they sent representatives to tour the world to try to allocate that soul with little success.

They've been traveling up and down the globe,

But they couldn't find that person.

I don't know exactly how they were supposed to identify him,

But they said that when he appears,

They will know.

And eventually they ended up on a beach on western India,

And they encountered two kids.

One was 10,

The other one was six,

Two brothers playing on the beach,

And they knew that they found their Messiah.

So they asked those kids to show them to their parents and somehow was able to communicate and persuade the parents that they want to take those kids to England in order to educate them well.

And the parents agreed.

I guess money was involved.

I don't know exactly why,

But they agreed.

So they went to England and they were educated in the best institutions,

Groomed to one day when he was supposed to be 21,

To come with his new teachings,

To reveal himself as the Messiah,

Basically.

So he was groomed by the founder of the Theosophical Movement,

Madame Blavatsky,

She was called,

And the high priests of that foundation.

So imagine,

That's what he knew,

Krishnamurti,

All his life.

And his brother was walking beside him as his personal assistant.

He was groomed for that destiny,

Basically,

Since he was 10 years old.

And then,

Eventually,

The big day came where he was turning 21,

And people from all over the world came for that conference where he was supposed to reveal himself as the new Messiah.

Imagine that huge hall,

Very,

Very rich people,

Like the most rich and influential people of that time,

Filling the hall,

Very excited because this is going to change the world because this is going to change the future of mankind.

And Krishnamurti came on stage and gave a speech which you must read.

Those were some of his opening remarks,

Too,

Because a pathless man.

Yeah.

Basically saying,

Listen,

Whatever you're looking for is not going to be found here.

There is no Messiah,

There is no teacher,

There is no teaching,

There is no path leading you to anywhere.

Forget about it,

This is bullshit.

Imagine,

This is the guy who was groomed to be the Messiah,

Basically saying to everyone in the room that they are gravely mistaken.

And the Theosophical Movement never recovered from that.

And in a few years,

It basically stopped being that influential in Europe.

And he went back to India and started teaching his path,

Which was a pathless path,

Basically.

And when people referred to him as a spiritual teacher,

He said,

No,

No,

I'm not.

There is no teacher.

Don't confuse me with a guru.

I'm not your guru.

And I don't teach any path and kept referring people back again and again towards the question to the nature of the consciousness that is asking the question.

His brilliant mind was shining with innocence,

Unstained with any previous concepts or ideas about anything.

So I urge you,

Find those questions within you and share them,

Share them,

Help other people to grow alongside with you.

Or what do you believe?

Let me ask you a question.

What do you believe still stands between you and whatever you are looking for,

Longing for,

Striving for?

Striving for?

What do you believe you still need to learn about life,

About yourself?

Fear.

What about fear?

Of the unknown.

Fear of the unknown.

Funny,

Just today we had a conversation about what did you say?

That fear stands between you and you allowing yourself to express the true nature of yourself.

Something like that,

Right?

Yeah,

Fear is a powerful force.

And do you remember what I answered?

I said that fear will drop naturally when self-knowledge dawns,

Right?

Once you know yourself,

The fear of what other people might think,

The fear of other people's opinions,

The fear of exposure.

What?

Losing what you think you already have.

The fear of not gaining what you think you need.

All those will drop.

It's a side effect of self-knowledge.

I've discussed fear previously in details.

I invite you to go back and listen to those recordings.

There is a course called fear versus surrender you can take.

And several talks about fear,

The nature of fear.

Since you asked,

Let me say one thing about fear,

Which is extremely important when you harness your energy to grow beyond fear.

Before you start using the tools,

You know,

And practice,

Try to overcome fear.

You need to look in the mirror and ask yourself,

Honestly,

Do you really want to be free of fear?

This is not a trivial question.

You may say to yourself,

Yeah,

Definitely.

Why not?

Sounds brilliant,

No?

Living fearlessly.

But fear serves a purpose for you.

Otherwise,

There's a good chance you will already be over it.

What purpose,

You may ask?

It helps you to hide from life.

It helps you to avoid the pain that life can inflict and does inflict.

It helps you to not take responsibility and play the role of a victim.

It helps you to stay back,

Unengaging,

Unengaging with life.

Like when I ask you to share your questions,

You don't.

What will other people think?

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to word it in the right way.

Let other people take that responsibility.

I can just listen.

It's like the genie coming out of the bottle and asking you for your demand,

Your orders.

How do you say your wishes?

And you don't wish anything.

Because you're afraid you're going to wish the wrong thing.

I'm going to miss my opportunity.

Probably because you're so enlightened,

You have no wishes.

Right.

You know,

So you really need to be honest and ask yourself,

Are you ready to go beyond your fear?

And I tell you even more,

If you even go deeper,

You find that your self-identity is created around fear.

The answer to the question,

Who am I,

Is a combination of many historical,

Cultural,

Social events that were manipulated by fear.

So without fear,

That identity is lost.

And you are left with no answer to that question.

Who am I?

This is terrifying.

You prefer to deal with the fear that is more user-friendly.

The fear that you are accustomed to,

You know,

And you know how to handle.

But the fear of not being able to answer the question,

Who am I?

This is way too much.

And I tell you,

This is inevitable on your path.

You will come to that point in your journey where you will ask,

Who am I?

And there will be no answer.

Nothing echoing back as an answer.

It's inevitable.

Maybe in a year,

Maybe in a lifetime,

Maybe in 10,

000 lifetimes.

But it will come.

And you will face the void.

Question is,

Would you like to do it today?

Right now?

Are you willing to let go of the fear?

Stop being afraid of life.

Stop being afraid of your true self.

Or is it more convenient and comfortable to hide behind the fear?

Use it as an excuse.

But I'm still afraid.

There's a question.

I'd gotten to the point of just surrendering to fear and suffering.

Now I'm trying to figure out what I've learned so far.

No,

No,

No,

No,

No.

This is contradicting in terms.

You cannot surrender to something and suffer because of it.

You suffer because you don't surrender.

You have to realize that.

Suffering is the cause of you rejecting.

That's the definition of suffering.

You reject.

You reject.

I don't know exactly what.

You have to ask yourself,

What do you reject?

You reject the fact that you are afraid.

You reject that version of yourself,

That scared version of yourself.

Or something like that.

Otherwise,

You would not be suffering anymore.

Surrendering,

Meaning total acceptance.

The opposite of rejecting.

Total acceptance.

And let's go back to Krishnamurti.

When do you reject something?

Think about it.

When do you reject anything?

When you have a previous idea,

Preconception about it,

Right?

That conflicts,

That contradicts with whatever is happening,

With the present moment as it happens.

Then you reject.

No,

No,

No.

I have an idea,

A better idea about what should happen.

A more precise idea,

More accurate,

More holistic,

More enlightened idea about what should happen.

So I reject this.

This is not acceptable.

When will I be free?

When this is changed.

When this is matching my preconception,

My idea about what should happen.

This is when you reject.

And think about what Krishnamurti said.

Whatever idea you have in your head,

Drop it.

Whatever answer you have to any question,

Drop it.

Those ideas are useless to you.

An enlightened consciousness has no idea.

It has no idea,

No concept,

No agenda to protect.

Only then you can truly accept and surrender to the present moment.

Yeah,

You say you base your fear on previous experiences.

You're not alone.

That's the nature of fear.

What is fear?

Images from the past that we project into the future.

Impressions from the past that we project into the future.

Right?

This happened to me.

I don't want it to happen again.

This happened to somebody I love.

I don't want it to happen to me.

So your consciousness goes between back and future,

Past and future,

Past and future,

Right?

So what's the solution to that?

The now,

Precisely.

In the now there is no fear.

You know,

There is terrible,

Terrible situation in Israel right now.

I gave a few talks to anxious people in Israel.

That really faced some horrific scenes.

And I kept repeating that message again and again and again and again.

You are unequipped to deal with the horrific movies about what might happen in the future.

But you are always equipped to deal with reality as it happens right now.

So if you want to make sure you stay on top of things.

And you don't go crumbling down facing those horrors.

Make sure you are in the present moment.

Because there,

There is always space for you to experience whatever is happening.

You are always bigger than the present moment.

But in order to know that you need to be in the present moment.

Don't worry about what happened or what may happen.

There is only one time for you to experience sanity.

And that is now.

Do you see what I'm saying?

And how to come back to the now?

When your mind travels between the past and the future without permission?

A plan.

You take a deep breath.

The breath is happening now.

The breath cannot happen anytime.

Else.

Okay when you go.

When you find yourself just thrown with your thoughts about what happened and what may happen.

You just take a deep breath.

Right there is nothing.

Everything is okay right now.

We are just sitting here and conversing on the virtual realm.

With a nice cup of tea.

It's okay.

Bill is saying I have an anxiety.

So my fear is from the unknown.

Let's talk about the fear of the unknown.

That's the second time it's mentioned tonight.

Why are we afraid of the unknown?

Think about it.

Why are you afraid from the unknown?

Because we have no control exactly.

I mean.

At least we lose that sense of being in control.

I argue you don't have any control anyway.

Whether you believe you have it or not.

Whether you think you know or you think you don't know.

Whether you are in the known or in the unknown.

You don't have control.

Control is an illusion.

Okay.

I invite you to look at your life honestly.

The way your life unfolded until the present moment.

Did you really have control over whatever has happened to you?

The family you were born to.

The country that you were born in.

The culture that was surrounding you.

The friends that you met.

Even your partner.

Your life partner.

Did you have control over that?

Or was he just there at one moment looking at you?

Or she?

Isn't it that life just happens?

Do you think you have control over that?

Look outside.

You know the sun is rising and setting.

The birds are flying.

The wind is blowing.

Cars are driving.

Do you have control over that?

Can you see that life is just happening?

Spontaneously.

Your body.

Do you have control over your body?

Do you know what's going on there?

How your body maintains temperature and acidity and what else?

All those balances.

Well,

For you it's just that in neutral pH and as opposed to acidic.

Okay.

Neutral pH and you know all those things that happen in your body.

You know you want to bend your finger.

Do you know what happens in your body in order for that to happen?

Do you know how your brain translates that intention into electric pulse that you know goes through your,

How do you call it,

Nerves to bend those muscles?

Do you know what happens there?

Or you just take it for granted?

Can you control your thoughts?

Can you not think about elephants now?

Just now.

Don't think about elephants.

Are you able to not think about elephants?

What are you in control of?

That's an illusion.

And that illusion is sitting there based on the precept that if I'm in control life cannot hurt me.

Or at least not as much as they can.

Again,

That is an illusion.

You know,

You can protect yourself with thousands layers.

But life can break those in a second if they choose to.

This is just an illusion.

You need to wake up and realize life is not under your control.

Not to say that you don't influence life.

Of course you do.

You influence life by your intentions.

100%.

Some say more than that.

You generate life.

You create life.

You are the creator of the situations that you encounter by your intentions.

As a reflection of your inner world.

But you are not in control of how that situation actually unfolds.

So no,

It doesn't work like that.

That if you think million dollar,

Million dollar,

Million dollar,

You will eventually get a million dollar.

No.

I'm sorry to say this is not how life works.

And it's not only you,

You know,

You're not alone here.

You generate life together with all the people around you.

The collective consciousness that you are a part of is the creator of this reality that you face.

But you are never in control.

So let me ask you the million dollar question.

How can you be afraid of losing something that you never had?

Huh?

That's an illusion.

You need to wake up.

Surrendering to the present moment is realizing life is much more mysterious than what I can maintain control of.

This helps you to drop that fear of losing control.

Realizing this is not in my control to begin with.

Life is not an event that we should protect ourselves from.

Life is there for us to experience.

Yes,

Sometimes it's pleasant and sometimes it's unpleasant and sometimes it's horrific,

But sometimes it's wonderful.

Isn't it?

Closing yourself in a shell,

Protecting yourself against life so it won't be able to harm you is like putting yourself in a coffin before you're dead.

What's the point?

This is how you want to live your life?

In a coffin?

I tell you,

An enlightened consciousness is not afraid of life.

It does not protect itself against life.

It makes love with life.

You cannot make love out of fear.

Fear is the opposite of love.

Fear is love standing on its head.

The opposite.

If you want to open your heart to life and the opportunity you receive to experience life in a body,

You definitely need to grow beyond your fears.

Allow yourself to be exposed.

I am here.

Bring it on.

Whatever it is,

Bring it on.

Happiness or sadness,

Pleasure or pain.

They are one and the same.

What do you say?

So for those of you who say,

Yes,

True,

100% true.

Make sure you don't use this as a new anchor.

You think you find an answer,

Drop it.

Stay fresh.

Go back to the question.

What is the essence of fear?

How does fear control me?

When do I allow fear to navigate my life?

Go back to the question.

Keep investigating.

Stay fresh.

Every concept that you make a truth for you,

Every concept that you make a truth for you is destined to rot.

Do you see what I'm saying?

If you want to keep it fresh.

When you say that every concept that you make a truth for you,

When we're in the business of making truths for ourselves,

Is that simply just for making another set of beliefs or a new doctrine or something?

So I'll repeat the question just to make sure that you heard.

Is it that every concept that we make a truth for ourselves is just another concept,

Another doctrine that we adopt?

That's the question?

Or is it simply just a belief?

Like it's not actually a truth,

It's really just a belief.

So is it really the truth or just an idea,

A concept,

A belief that I have?

Excellent question.

What is the truth?

So just a couple of weeks ago,

I recorded a talk about the truth.

What is the truth?

I invite you to go and listen in details.

And again,

This is one of those questions that if you keep on asking,

It will help you grow for sure.

So what is the truth?

Is it a compilation of all our beliefs and concepts?

Or is there an absolute truth that we are gradually getting ready to realize as we grow on our path?

That's a viable question.

So at the risk of,

You know,

How do you call it?

When you tell somebody the end of the movie,

How do you call it?

Yeah,

The spoiler alert,

Spoiler alert.

Or I'm buzzed.

I'm going to buzz kill this.

But still,

It's not an excuse not to listen to that talk.

I would say this.

As long as you're not settled in an enlightened consciousness,

An awakened consciousness,

Truth,

Yes,

Is the combination of all your beliefs.

Everything you believe about what's right and wrong and what's good and bad manifest as truth for you.

In that sense,

Truth is always relative because everyone has a different set of beliefs,

Right?

But as you awake to the true essence of your consciousness,

Of your awareness,

As you wake up from that illusion of separateness,

You realize that truth is absolute in the sense of the present moment.

The present moment is an absolute experience.

Consciousness is absolute.

It's not relative.

So if you really want to refer to a united truth,

You need to come back to the present moment.

Another reason to come back from the stories that you have in your head to the present moment.

What is now is the truth,

Undisputed truth.

And now it's just a matter of maturing in order to experience that fully with an open heart and a willing soul.

And there is no belief.

There is nothing to do with belief.

It's not a concept.

You know,

It's not an idea.

Directly experience the present moment has got nothing to do with your intellect and the set of ideas that you have about life.

As I said,

An enlightened consciousness has no idea.

It's clueless.

It's just available to experience.

That's it.

Like a child.

Innocent like a child.

What else?

But yes,

I invite you to listen to that talk.

It's profound.

If you are a seeker,

A sincere seeker for the truth,

Listen to that talk.

Any more questions?

The topic of fear came up because I was asking about how we experience blissful happiness.

So the topic of fear came up discussing how we feel.

How we come to experience bliss.

How we come to experience life as pure bliss.

How we come to experience life with pure bliss.

So recognizing that fear gets in the way of that experience.

Recognizing that fear gets in the way of that experience,

Yes.

So there is a talk I recorded a few weeks ago under the name of,

I think it's called Pure Fulfillment.

How to attain pure fulfillment.

Search for it.

It's available already.

Listen to that talk.

That was the question?

Well then a question didn't come out of that comment.

I think maybe just going back to continuing to become more and more conscious and available to and aware and awake to what stops that experience of pure bliss.

Yeah,

Yeah.

So this is definitely a work of awareness now.

You need to be on your toes.

And every time there is something that comes between you and pure bliss,

As Carly worded,

You stop and put a finger on that.

Okay,

Somehow I was confused to believe a contradicting idea about life.

About reality,

About myself.

And that caused some sort of distortion in the way I perceive life.

Or other people call it suffering.

So make sure that you are aware of that in real time.

And a very good way to identify it is by physically allocating contractions in your body.

Because when that happens,

Your body contracts.

It cannot be without a physical contraction.

So allocating those contractions in real time can help you.

Oh,

Okay,

Now I'm not completely available to experience with a full heart and a willing soul.

Something there is rejecting.

What's the idea that I hold in my mind that is conflicting reality right now?

Argues with reality.

Let go of that idea if you really want to be free.

Remember,

The absolute truth hides in the present moment.

When it happens,

As it happens.

So if you want to live a truthful life,

You need to come back to the present moment to fully experience it.

There were a few more questions before we wrap up.

Bear is asking how an Israeli ends up in Edmonton.

Fair Canada.

How do we let go of self-clinging,

Of thinking that we are separate self?

Ah,

No,

No,

No,

No.

You cannot let go of that.

This is the concept.

Don't try to fight the concept.

That's an idea.

Okay,

Because as long as oneness is not experienced as a direct experience,

It's only an idea in your head.

Yeah,

Oneness is there and I need to find it.

I need to expand to it.

You know,

Don't worry about trying to have your ideas,

Your concepts win over your current experience.

Because you see,

That creates an inner battle between the way you experience life and the way you wish you would have experienced life.

Do you see what I'm saying?

And that conflict,

That inner conflict,

Stands between you and enlightenment.

Don't worry if oneness is not experienced now as your reality,

Rest in that.

Rest in that knowing that you're on your path and you're being taken care of.

Don't try to reach,

You know,

The fruit.

When the fruit is ripe,

It drops.

You cannot force it.

You cannot accelerate that process.

You see what I'm saying?

You just rest in whatever you experience in the moment.

Rejoice in that.

Anything else?

What happens to the soul after someone dies?

What happens to the soul when somebody dies?

I don't know.

I can tell you stories about it,

But they will just be stories.

We are here to experience reality,

Not to build new stories around it.

How do our stories relate to us experiencing reality?

Our stories generate the lens through which we see reality.

That's why it's very important to be aware of what kind of stories am I telling myself and choose to believe.

It's like,

You know,

That telescope.

The story is the telescope through which I look and observe and experience life.

For instance,

If I keep telling myself that life is a dangerous place and I need to be really watchful,

Then life will seem that way.

That will generate your experience.

Life will be a dangerous place for you.

Can I?

You need to be very aware of what kind of story do you tell yourself about yourself and about life.

We can talk about it maybe another time.

Enough for today?

So,

I would like to thank you very much for coming and joining and sharing and participating for your beautiful questions,

For your donations.

And I look forward to seeing you again next Wednesday.

Same time,

Same place.

Jigur Dev.

Love you very much.
