Emotional Release & Letting Go - Practice for Anxiety

When you try to hold unnecessary emotions, stress, anger and worry, anxiety builds up. This can hinder your flow and block the abundance that should coming into your life. Here's a guided practice for emotional release and for letting go of anything that burdens you.

Imagine these golden bells shining and glowing in the sky,

Each one chiming.

Chiming the sounds of your most free and joyous self.

This is the light and the column of energy that attaches and that holds all of who you are.

Beyond your physical body,

Beyond your physical thoughts.

I want you to imagine big white column of infinite light going straight through your body,

Straight through the earth.

That's all just your pure energy.

So I want you to imagine that and breathe into that.

Imagine that flow like a waterfall from the top of your head through your spine into the bottom of your body.

Breathe in and receive it and let that flow and wash away anything and everything that can be let go today and you let the rest of it drop to the center of the earth.

At the same time allowing the vibrations of the drums enter in your body as you open up and receive.

The healing that occurs potentially as it goes through different parts of your body.

Relaxing your shoulders,

Relaxing your neck.

Put your attention to the spot between your shoulder blades and breathe in.

Relaxing your jaw.

Release.

Release the tension in your face and your body.

Imagine yourself releasing everything unconscious and conscious that is holding you back from this freedom and calmness and connectedness that you can feel with yourself.

Release it.

So breathe into the parts of your body that's holding on to this stuff and exhale it into a big black ball in front of you.

So I want you to breathe into your body and exhale and make a big black circle in front of you that holds all of the stuff you want to get rid of.

Release it.

Connect to the feelings of pain,

Of being hurt.

Release all the hurt that could be in your body.

Breathe into that.

All feelings of not good enough.

All feelings of what did I do to deserve this anger,

Frustration,

Disappointment.

Breathe into that and release that into your ball in front of you.

All of it.

Everything that's ready to be let go today.

Breathe into that feeling of disconnectedness,

Feeling of anxiety.

Too much to do,

Too little time being taken advantage of.

Breathe into that.

Allowing whatever emotions there are to flow through and breathe that in and release it into the ball in front of you.

Breathing in as well on everything in the front of your body that wants to be released.

Noticing what that might be.

You can feel it or hear it or even just have a small inkling or no inkling at all.

It's all fine.

Breathe into that and release everything in the front of the body that wants to be released.

Breathe into that ball and then now breathe into the back of the body as if your nose is on your back.

And with every in-breath and out-breath release even more into your circle,

Into that big circle.

I want you to also imagine blue and purple flames now firing away right through you,

Burning away this circle.

Burning,

Starting to start burning from the bottom to the top.

So if it's okay with you to burn away these energies once and for all,

Whatever wants to be burnt away today,

Then give it an okay,

Give it the permission to do that.

And I want you to start breathing into this blue and purple fire and watch your entire black circle in front of you burn.

And I want you to say goodbye to those feelings that you have been carrying with you without realizing the toll and burden it has been taking on you.

Breathe into the fire,

Into your chest.

And like a dragon spitting out fire,

Release.

And again.

Release it all.

Burn that away.

And again.

And again.

Everything now,

Just let everything that wants to be released today go.

Trusting that your body knows what needs to leave right now,

Right at this moment in time.

Let that go.

Relax.

Really allow yourself to release.

Forgive yourself for holding onto it.

Forgive others.

Envisioning that person or that situation in front of you.

And really sending that person,

That fire to neutralize the energy fields so there's no animosity or there's no annoyance.

Or if you're feeling disconnected,

Burn away all the disconnections.

Using your breath to do that.

As you breathe out,

Release it all.

And again.

And again.

And again.

And hold it and send it to the ground as if there's a big black hole beneath the floor.

So raise your hands and see where this ball may be.

It may still be black,

It may be a different color.

Whatever it is,

Send that energy down into the ground.

Watch it float into the ground,

Into the center of the earth,

Returning back to what created it.

Pachamama.

Earth energies.

Wherever that came from.

Allowing yourself to receive the gifts and the learnings and the awarenesses and the positivity that may come from it.

The change of direction.

The new knowledge.

Receive that all,

Breathe in.

Allow yourself to really open yourself up to receive more of what this is.

Or was taking up space.

Receive more of who you are,

Receive more of that easy flow,

That calmness.

Open up and breathe that in.

Allow yourself to experience what it feels like to feel free.

Imagine that sense of connectedness,

Freedom,

And calmness.

That new level of energy that comes within you when you release whatever you did today.

So in your body I want you to breathe in an infinite amount of appreciation that you have for yourself.

Breathe into that.

And send that compassion and self,

That appreciation to this room as you exhale.

Breathing into that again,

That gratitude,

That appreciation,

That sense of balance and okayness.

Breathe into that.

And let that expand into this area and neighborhood.

Allow yourself to breathe into that again.

And this time using your heart to breathe into it.

And then release it into the entire country.

And allow yourself to breathe into that again.

That appreciation of yourself and all of who you are.

And let that flow right through you and release it into the entire earth.

And now breathe into that again,

Expanding your heart,

Expanding your system,

Expanding your body.

And breathe into the entire universe.

And expand yourself,

Free yourself from everything that has a hold on you,

That has had a hold on you.

Now drawing your energy back into your body slowly,

Allowing it to stay expanded yet concentrated.

Allow yourself to come back to this room,

Back to your body.

Picking up all the learnings along the way,

All the improvements and the transformations along the way.

And allow yourself to come back into this body,

These legs,

This face,

This heart,

This pure,

Relaxed,

Calm.

Neutral or even positive being.

Breathe into that sense of yumminess within you.

Savor it and breathe into it.

And one last breath.

This meditation invites you to experience negative emotions, then release and transform them. I found the instructions/visualizations helpful and the drumming was energizing, adding a sense of progression through different phases of the.meditation (relaxing, feeling, releasing, transforming, deepening relaxation). I feel lighter! I used headphones and the sound quality / volume was just fine.

Great voice, great shamanic drumming, great focus on releasing old energy that no longer serves and being with the remaining freedom
