Hello,
Welcome.
This is a practice designed to support you in coming home to your body.
I will offer some affirmations.
Body based affirmations.
And we'll gently sprinkle in,
Weave in some cues,
Some body awareness.
To help you to really feel and sense and embody the affirmations.
It's not possible to get anything wrong in this practice.
You can choose to be in any shape that you like.
Setting yourself up to find as much steadiness,
Ease and support as you can.
And as you feel ready to begin.
I am arriving here,
Settling into my body.
I am arriving here,
Settling into my body.
What is it like to take your time to arrive?
Feeling and sensing what it's like to land,
To settle.
To arrive here as your body.
Sharing this practice as your body.
I am making space to feel more and more at home in myself.
I am making space to feel more and more at home in myself.
How might you invite in a fraction more space?
You might like to explore how to take up a little more space.
Expand your shape.
Expansion across your chest,
Your collarbones.
Perhaps even an expansiveness through your ribcage.
Making space.
I am exploring what it means to be with my whole self.
I am exploring what it means to be with my whole self.
How might you allow all of your experience to be here?
Allowing all of the parts of yourself to be here.
Giving them a chance to integrate.
It could feel useful and supportive to wrap your arms around your body.
This containment hug.
Embodying this sense of your whole self.
What might it be like to welcome,
To say hello to your whole self?
Even if just for a moment.
I am resting and trusting into the ground that holds me.
I am resting and trusting into the ground that holds me.
Observing perhaps all of the places of contact.
All of the places where your body is in relationship to the ground,
The space.
All of the support beneath you.
How might you feel and sense into that support a little bit more?
Creating some swaying or rocking.
Any rhythmic movement through your body.
Noticing how that may shift what you can feel,
Sense and detect.
Between the places where your body meets the ground.
You might even like to press through the soles of your feet.
Or press your palms into the ground.
Or perhaps if you're laying down,
Feeling the back of your body meeting the ground.
Feeling into that connection.
Trusting into that support.
I am listening inward.
Curious about what I hear and notice.
I am listening inward.
Curious about what I hear and notice.
The option of placing your hands over your heart space.
This feeling center of your body.
Listening to the language of your body,
Any sensations.
Any messages,
Any signals from your body.
How is it to let your body know that you are here and listening?
I am meeting myself as I am.
Without demanding change.
I am meeting myself as I am.
Without demanding change.
What is it like to allow your experience right in this very moment to be exactly as it is?
No need to fix or edit or suppress any part of yourself.
Meeting yourself as you are right in this moment.
I am exploring the landscape of myself with kindness and gentleness.
I am exploring the landscape of myself with kindness and gentleness.
Perhaps these qualities feel more unfamiliar.
Bringing in kindness and gentleness.
Being warm and compassionate towards ourselves.
Practicing kindness and gentleness.
The invitation of taking a conscious breath.
As you feel ready inviting in a breath through your nose.
And sigh your breath out through your mouth.
Feeling grounded is a place already within me.
Waiting and wanting to be uncovered.
Feeling grounded is a place already within me.
Waiting and wanting to be uncovered.
What is it like to embody this notion that everything we need is already here?
Everything we need is within.
Everything we need is waiting.
Wanting to be rediscovered.
Knowing that there is nothing to fix.
Nothing to force.
Beginning to meet your body.
To move through each day,
Each moment of your life as your body.
Beginning to feel more and more at home in your body.
Knowing that you can return to this place within yourself anytime that you choose.
As always it is a privilege to share this space,
This time together.
Thank you for your willingness to come home to your body.
I am wishing you a beautiful,
Intentional,
Spacious and grounded rest of your day.
Take good,
Good care.
