Welcome to today's practice.

I want to honor the time and space that you created for yourself to journey inward.

Orient yourself to whatever space that you've created for this practice.

If you are in a seated position,

Notice how your sit bones are connected to the surface.

Feel the weight of your body pulling downward into that space where your sit bones connect with that grounding.

Notice how your breath moves in and out of your body without manipulation.

On the inhale,

Notice how your body expands.

On the exhale,

Notice how it releases any tension.

Continue moving with your breath as it flows naturally.

Imagine there's a beam of light filling every crevice of your body suit in your inhales.

Noticing the spaces that may have more resistance to the breath.

Noticing the spaces that move with ease.

Without judgment,

Allow your body to teach you in this moment.

On your exhales,

Imagine that tension and those spaces flowing through like a well.

Exaggerate that exhale as if you're pushing that tension out with every breath out.

Now begin to manipulate your breath with a longer inhale,

Feeling your breath all the way to the top of your head and slowly releasing as if you're filling air in a balloon that's positioned in your belly.

Continue with this deep inhale and long exhale,

Noticing how your mind pulls towards thoughts,

What happened before this moment,

What may be happening afterwards.

And use your breath to bring you back to where you are now.

You've created this space with intention,

Without expectation,

With the hope that from this practice you will dive deeper into your life's journey.

Your breath is an agent that allows you to experience each moment in the now.

Life has a way of bringing us away from every aspect of our being,

Including our breath.

And when we realize that we have the power to bring it back in,

Then we know our true selves.

Every inhale shows you that you have the power of life.

And every exhale shows you that you have the power of release.

And in the in-between is a choice.

In the in-between is a choice.

How are you using your power today?

And what are you releasing?

For the next few moments,

Ponder the thought,

What do I have the power to do?

Who do I have the power to be?

Where do I have the power to go?

Notice how your body sits with these thoughts.

Notice what thoughts come up as you ponder these questions,

And how those thoughts impact your being,

Impact your breath,

Impact any emotions,

Impact your body.

There's any tension that you've noticed,

Any resistance that you've experienced.

Take the next few moments to ponder these thoughts.

What do I need to release?

Where do I need to release it?

As you investigate this moment,

Notice without judgment,

As if you're a bird viewing the landscape from above,

And connect back to your breath.

Allow your breath to journey you through any crevice that was highlighted.

Deepen those inhales.

Elongate those exhales.

Deepen your power.

Release the tension.

Allowing your breath to flow back to its natural state.

I want you to go back to where your body connects with that grounding surface.

Notice how you're connecting with the earth.

Notice what spaces in your body allow you to connect to the earth.

It's your sit bones,

It's your feet,

It's your back,

It's your head.

Feel the weight,

The heaviness of that center of groundedness.

Imagine there's a string pulling from the top of your head,

Stretching you towards a bright light.

A light sent to engulf every space and crevice of your body suit,

Every space and crevice of your being.

Pull towards that light with your forehead,

With the top of your head.

Notice how the rest of your body adjusts.

Notice how your breath shifts.

Notice where your thoughts go.

Maybe take this moment to connect to another part of your body,

Whether it's your heart space,

Your belly space,

Maybe some contact with your knees or the ground itself.

Notice how you're moving in this space,

In this time,

In this planet,

In this galaxy.

You are here,

Right now.

Send yourself a thought of gratitude for taking the time to choose you.

When you're ready,

Reorient yourself back to your space,

Your environment.

If your eyes are closed,

Maybe look around,

Look behind you,

Look up,

Look down.

There are many moments in life and you get to have this one.

What a privilege.

You chose yourself.

You sat here.

A lot of gratitude your way.

If you have some moments,

I encourage you to reflect on what came up for you in this practice.

Maybe you noticed some things that were more tense or less tense than they were before.

Maybe you were able to sit in this space without distraction,

Without concern.

Take note of that and allow this practice to follow you throughout your journey of life.

Meditation,

I see,

Is a moment to be your own student,

To be your own project,

To be your own case study,

To find out what you need to know about yourself so you can be your best self.

Thank you for allowing me to flow with you in this moment.

Namaste.
