If you are like most human beings,

You probably spend a good chunk of your time dealing with worries and anxieties about the future.

There is a simple way to deal effectively with our worries and anxieties by paying full attention to whatever is going on right here,

Right now,

No matter how seemingly insignificant.

If we are giving our full attention to the present moment,

Worries won't have an opportunity to arise,

Because those worries are based in thoughts about the future.

Focusing on the present moment is not ignoring the future,

It's actually the best way to prepare for the future.

Everything I ever did that ever happened in my whole life was in the now of that moment.

Everything that will happen will be in the now of some future moment.

So the best way I can prepare for any future moment is to be fully attentive to this moment,

Even if this moment seems insignificant.

My attention to this moment is giving me practice to pay full attention to future moments when there might be more pressure,

More at stake than there is right now.

But it's not just about preparing for the future,

It's about living the fullest quality of life in this moment right now.

What's happening?

What are the possibilities?

Maybe it's as simple as taking a brief moment to relax and taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Paying attention to as much detail as possible about that breath.

Or maybe it's as simple as listening fully to the myriad of sounds,

Or giving full attention to that person,

Not just what they are saying,

But all the little details,

The tone of voice,

The body language,

The facial expressions.

That's all it takes to live life to the max,

To pay full attention to whatever is happening right in front of us,

Right now.

If we can live to the max in this moment,

Giving it our full attention,

No matter how insignificant it may seem,

We will be better prepared to live any and all of our future moments to the max as well.

We will be able to respond to difficult situations with poise,

Confidence,

And grace.

And we will be able to enjoy those beautiful,

Precious moments more fully.

It's so simple and so powerful.

If we can focus on the present moment,

This right now,

We are leaving behind our worries and anxieties.

We are actually preparing for the future.

And we are living our lives to the max.

So join me.

Let's dive in deep right now to this moment.

I'll guide you.

How many things can you notice that are happening right now,

No matter how seemingly insignificant?

Notice your breath.

Notice the details,

Like how it feels as your chest rises and falls.

Notice the brief moments of stillness as the breath turns from inhale to exhale and vice versa.

Now,

With your awareness on your breath,

Add to your awareness any body sensations that you feel right now.

Like how your body feels as it touches the chair or whatever supports it right now.

Notice any tingling in your hands or your feet.

Notice the subtle tingling sensations of how it feels to simply be alive in this moment.

Using your attention,

Noticing the breath and body sensations,

Now add to your expanding consciousness the various sounds.

My voice.

The background music.

Any background noises in your current environment right now.

Don't label anything with your thoughts.

Just notice the details of the various sounds as they blend together in your awareness.

Now add to your expanding consciousness your vision,

Your field of view.

Not as a collection of objects,

But as a single field of view with many colors and shapes and movement,

All blended into one scene like a moving abstract painting.

Still be aware of everything.

Sounds,

Your field of view.

Even notice the occasional thought,

But don't follow those thoughts.

Don't focus all of your attention on any one thing.

Notice that you can listen and comprehend every word I am saying and still notice all the other things too.

Let it all in.

Everything that's happening right now with an expanded consciousness that's wide open.

This,

This.

This is all it takes to live life to the max.

Because nothing will escape you.

You will be fully aware of everything in your surroundings.

Fully able to interact and respond.

Fully engaged with the present moment.

Free of anxieties and worries.

This is how to live life to the fullest.

And it's so simple.

Notice what's happening right now.

You will be fully engaged with the present moment.

Fully engaged with the present moment.

Fully engaged with the present moment.

I really felt that all the way. Life is now and it can simpler than we make it. Thanks!
