Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Find yourself in a comfortable place,
Either lying down on your back or sitting in a chair with your legs uncrossed,
Your eyes gently closed.
And again,
Take a nice deep breath and letting go,
Exhale.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And with each breath,
You become more and more relaxed,
Starting with the top of your head,
Feeling your scalp,
Relaxing,
And feeling that relaxation,
Perhaps even a warm golden light,
Moving down,
Relaxing your brain,
Smoothing out your forehead,
Relaxing around your ears,
Softening the little tiny muscles around your eyes,
Letting your nose and cheeks and jaw relax.
And feel your tongue relaxing in your mouth as you breathe in and breathe out,
Feeling that golden light relaxing down through your throat,
Feeling your neck relaxing,
The top of your shoulders softening,
And that golden light,
That warm relaxation flowing down your arms,
Through your elbows,
Into your forearms,
Relaxing your wrist,
Down through your hands,
Into your fingers,
Relaxing out each of your fingertips,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And then your chest relaxes,
Your heart becomes soft and relaxes,
Your back is supported from the chair or the bed,
You can relax your upper and middle and lower back,
You can feel your tummy relaxing,
Relaxing with each breath,
Feeling that wave,
That warm wave of relaxation moving into your pelvis and into your hips,
Feeling your buttocks,
Your legs,
All around your knees relaxing and that relaxation flows down all the way to the soles of your feet,
This golden light,
This warm wave of relaxation.
And then let that,
That pool at the base of your feet,
And as you inhale,
Let this golden light,
This healing energy,
This grounded stable essence of the earth,
Rise up through your feet,
Through your legs,
Through your hips and pelvis,
Into your torso,
Your spine,
Your back and tummy and chest,
All the way up through the arms,
Through the neck,
And through your head and face.
And with each breath,
Just allow that flow to rise up,
Bringing you healing and love and a knowingness that you are complete,
Just because you breathe,
You exist,
You were born,
You matter,
You're fulfilled with this light,
With this knowing,
Breathe it in,
Let it fill you up.
And as you exhale,
Let it move out through the top of your head,
Like sparkles or light or a fountain of joy or knowing.
And just allow that pattern,
That breath,
In through the soles of your feet and exhaling out through the crown or top of your head.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
And as you breathe,
If there's any thoughts that arise,
Just let them exhale out through the top of your head and place them or let them sit on a cloud way above your head and drift away,
Drift off,
For now anyway.
Breathe in through the soles of your feet,
All the way up,
And exhale out through the top of your head.
Any thoughts,
Let them just swirl up and set them on a cloud and see the clouds drifting by,
Letting your thoughts just sit on or in those clouds.
And then take a breath in,
And hold the breath gently for the count of four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale.
Let's do that again.
Breathe in,
And then gently hold that breath,
Keeping the body relaxed,
And then exhale,
Exhale softly.
One more time.
Breathe in,
Hold the breath for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale.
And then let your breath just breathe naturally and comfortably.
Your body's relaxed,
Your mind is empty,
Your breathing is peaceful.
If you're falling asleep,
That's fine.
These thoughts,
These messages,
This awareness is your truth.
That you are loved.
That you are so adored.
That God,
The universe,
Always has your back.
That you're always taken care of.
That you are so loved for your unique,
Beautiful,
Precious being.
The human being that you are.
With all of your unique qualities and characteristics and idiosyncrasies,
And all that makes you a child of God.
So loved for just being you.
Without having to do anything.
You're so loved just for who you are.
So breathe that in.
Feel that in your heart.
That you are precious.
That you are kind.
That your true essence is also love.
And compassion.
And patience.
And understanding.
And sometimes we forget.
Sometimes we're just humans.
But truly in our heart,
When we're connected to our true essence,
The spirit that created us,
We know.
We know this is true.
And from this truth,
We live in the highest regard and respect and love and care for ourself.
We must start with ourselves.
Caring,
Loving,
What's called selfish.
All the things that only we can take care of.
Whatever it is that we need,
It's our responsibility,
The ability to respond and take care of ourselves.
Which means being healthy.
Which means being in loving,
Kind relationships.
Which means knowing there's times to let it go.
There's times where we may have to walk away.
And love from afar.
Or love with our heart.
Still respecting ourselves.
Who we are is who we are to others.
How we treat ourselves is how we treat others.
It may not make sense in our brain.
But this is the truth.
So take a breath in.
Relax.
Exhale.
So right now,
Every day,
No matter what,
No matter what relationships we're having with others,
No matter what's happening with our money,
No matter what's going on at work or home or in our community,
It starts with ourself.
So right now,
Honor yourself.
Be kind to yourself.
Treat yourself.
Be healthy.
Take care of your body.
Give your mind positive messages.
Surround yourself with beautiful things.
Dress yourself in beautiful ways.
Do the things that makes you happy.
You get to be you and take care of you in every way that you would want someone to take care of you.
And because the universe,
God,
Wants the best for you and always is looking out for you and always makes things right and always takes care of you and always,
Always loves you,
Loves you no matter what,
Because of all of that,
You can let go.
You can let go of worries.
You can let go of wondering if you're going to be alone or with your perfect,
Wonderful soulmate.
You can let go of any family conflicts.
You can let go of work.
You can let go.
And in the letting go,
Just like the exhale,
There's an openness.
There's a receptivity.
There's an invitation for the next breath in.
And there will also,
By letting go,
God and the universe will invite in exactly what you want.
It already knows you don't even have to make a list.
You just get to be that for yourself.
Take a breath in.
Breathe out.
Know you're loved.
You are always loved.
