Intuition is the foundation of what we are seeking.

It requires a bit of a line up in all of the chakras that lie beneath the third eye chakra.

It's all very interrelated as well.

So intuition guides us with a synthesis in our body's senses of the information we receive from the world.

And with what we know,

Our personal knowledge,

Education,

Familial experiences,

Our intuition organizes all of the sensory information of what is now with what we know.

What we know to be true.

And in this way we are able to have an internal language unique to our own body that can guide us like a compass.

And so many of us have turned this off or made it very complicated by assimilating into the world by being a productive human and having a routine and a daily life that is oriented toward whatever is driving our culture,

Wherever you are.

And when we are in this situation of having turned off our intuition basically,

It becomes disorganized our life.

We become dissatisfied,

Defragmented and essentially it almost feels grappling on the internal landscape because we aren't synthesizing what we know to be true with the information that's coming in.

So it's almost as if we are discounting our own personal experience.

And I want to break this down today because it's the crux of having a spiritual awakening.

Many of us here in January are renewing in different ways.

Maybe you've taken on a new diet.

Maybe you've taken on a new exercise routine.

It's very common in January in our modern culture,

In the culture that I'm describing that we lean on a lot for understanding the world.

And today what I am sharing with you is a big invitation for you to virtually hold my hand here as I guide you to the direction of how to recoup your intuition.

So many people who I know have told me they aren't connected with their intuition.

Some folks pride themselves on having that gut instinct and following it or just knowing what to do in certain situations or having an idea that,

Oh,

That person,

I don't think they have my best interest in heart and steering away from them for whatever reason,

Like a business situation,

Job interview,

First date,

Or you're just passing someone on the street and your gut just guides you.

Those are powerful moments.

Those are deeply powerful moments.

And in those moments you are connected to your higher self,

Your soul,

You're just on the precipice of doing deep connections with the universe when you're using your intuition.

And it really calls out your deepest heart's desires when you are able to listen and understand your own unique body's language.

This intuition is a connecting vector,

If you will,

For the greater consciousness in the world.

It's as if you have an antennae in your third eye and when you dial up,

Channel that inner wisdom from your gut area,

Your gut brain,

And synthesize it with your intuition,

You can have a beautiful direction in which to follow.

And when you're doing that,

You're stepping into the greater consciousness.

You're able to dial in to universal connectivity and you're doing it while you're awake.

You're not having to sleep or dream to do it.

You're living your dreams basically in your waking life,

Greater truth,

What your soul's purpose shines through the intuition.

So reconnecting with your intuition,

Coming back to your intuition,

Coming home to your intuition,

However you want to look at it.

This is deeply important at this time in the world.

I am a yoga teacher and I'm a new yoga teacher.

I was certified two years ago and what is bright and shiny about my practice as a yoga teacher as I develop is that I'm not the only one getting certified during the pandemic.

Or right before the pandemic.

I'm not the only one.

There are so many of us who are stepping in to this holistic yoga work,

Ayurveda.

I was certified to be a digestive health counselor when it was about five years ago.

And really the only person I had seen talking about Ayurveda was Deepak Chopra,

Gwyneth Paltrow,

Sahara Rose.

And now Ayurveda,

You can buy Ayurveda things at your local grocery store,

Health food store,

At your local coffee shop.

You can get an ashwagandha latte.

So this is resonating with a lot of people,

These holistic practices.

And I just want to weave it all together to bring it up to the sixth chakra,

The intuition.

And invite you to be here with me in your intuition.

If you are breathing deep in your breath,

Try placing the tip of the tongue at the roof of the mouth as you exhale with your mouth closed.

So it sounds like this.

This helps to extend your breath and retain oxygen in your breath.

This allows you the capacity to really think more clearly,

To observe more clearly.

So I want you to use your best observation skills along with those deep feelings.

Feelings of awareness.

And I want to invite you to gently bring awareness to the forehead.

You can even place your hand on your forehead.

Just allow the sensation of your hand to ignite warmth in the frontal part of your forehead,

The frontal cortex of the brain.

It's right behind your skull.

And understand the frontal cortex is the part of the brain that makes decisions for themselves.

Use critical thinking and breathe into this critical thinking brilliance of your mind that guides you throughout the day.

Acknowledge the work this part of the brain does,

This part of the head.

Now as you're placing your hand on your forehead,

Just imagine a beautiful indigo colored light,

Radiant,

Deep,

Just like your thoughts.

Intense and breathe into this intensity,

Bringing this cool idea of indigo blue to the front of the mind.

Inhale here and then exhale the coolness.

Inhale.

Allow the indigo color to begin to move from the third eye chakra,

The center of the forehead,

Down into the sinus cavity,

Illuminating the senses,

Allowing a new radiance in your olfactory nature.

You sense a smell,

Perhaps you're smelling warm or freshly cut flowers.

Inhale the blossoms into your nose.

Exhale ujjayi breath.

Inhale.

Guide the indigo light down into your throat.

Allow the light to move on each side of the throat into the ears.

The entire head is indigo in color,

Radiant,

Deep,

Intense blue.

Guide the light down into the throat.

Breathe.

Inhale.

Bring the indigo light into your heart,

Illuminating the lungs,

The four chambers of the heart.

Inhale.

Inhale.

Move the light down to the solar plexus,

Radiating confidence.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Allow the indigo light to illuminate the solar plexus and the entire abdominal cavity.

Inhale.

Bring awareness of the indigo light focusing into the tummy,

The stomach,

The connection of the third eye and the gut.

Take a moment and observe the channel it took to get here,

Synthesizing organs of the head,

The feelings of the body,

Landing in the gut,

Housing more endocrine release of hormones in the gut.

We understand the connection of hormones and the frontal cortex.

Making decisions can be influenced by adrenaline,

Cortisol,

Estrogen,

Testosterone and a myriad of other hormones that are released in the gut.

This allows us the ability to consider our nourishment,

Consider the connection with this endocrine system in the gut and the nourishment it takes in and the influence our choices make,

Cognitive awareness influences intuition with our decisions of nourishment.

Synthesizing this information,

Connect deeply back with the third eye,

Allowing all of this to be illuminated still.

Redirect the attention to the third eye and imagine a shortcut,

A bypass,

A connector straight to the gut,

Connecting these two as if they were side by side,

Doing the work together.

They literally are a relationship between two organs,

Unique,

Completely different,

Yet deeply related,

Deeply married to one another.

The internal conflicts could be many,

The decisions are many,

The feelings are many.

Synthesizing all of this is so important in the neck as information moves up from the head and down to the tummy and down from the tummy up to the head,

Instantly honoring the subtle body system known as the chakra system or the nervous system.

We discover a new level of connections with our intuition and our body sense.

Allowing intuition to be part of your waking life,

You enable an inner truth to ripple into your world,

Creating a sense of connection,

Exposing your dharma.

With intuition as your guide,

You can find solace in knowing that you are an intuitive,

Celestial being who is so important and unique in the world.

Returning to your attention,

At the third eye in the gut,

Allow this unique connection,

This unique marriage which we all have,

Understand this unique communication system is uniquely so to you,

Like a thumbprint or the sound of your voice,

Unique in your body's shape,

In your body's experience and only you get to have it.

Capture it,

Anoint it,

Enliven your senses with warming oils on the head often to help facilitate the communication in the nervous system with good oils.

Our nerves are covered with cholesterol.

Adding oils to the skin can help to rejuvenate the nerves.

Warming sesame oil is perfect for the winter or olive oil.

There are many oils that you can use.

Inhale,

Exhale.

On this inhale,

I want you to invite the indigo color from the gut to return back up into the head.

Breathing in,

On the exhale,

Guide the indigo blue up into the solar plexus,

Returning to the chest,

The heart,

The lungs,

Up the throat,

Releasing speech into the mouth,

Up through the nose and the sinuses and removing from the ears,

Into the third eye and out into the crown chakra.

Connect with yourself here.

Observe the internal landscape,

The impression of the indigo blue still remains.

You can come to this visualization at any time to ignite your intuition.

Inhale,

Exhale.

This invitation for you to better understand your intuition,

May it be kept close to your heart,

Allowing you to be guided with your internal truth,

Unique to you,

Just as true to your nature as any other part of your body.

Allow it to resonate.

And may this practice ripple out with goodness in every which direction in the world.

May your intuition connect with a greater consciousness in all of your decisions,

Uplifting the entire world.

Thank you so much for listening to this meditation.

Namaste.
