Welcome to this practice for anxiety.

In this meditation we invite peace and calm for the anxious mind.

We begin the practice by laying down in a very comfortable position on the back.

Coming into Shavasana or any invitation for a comfortable position on the back.

Play with your palms facing up and allow the toes to spread out towards the side.

Feel safe as you begin to close your eyes and allow your focus to become internal.

Soften your gaze and begin to settle into the most comfortable position for your body even further.

This is your invitation for complete restoration.

Giving yourself permission to be completely cocooned in comfort.

So comfortable that the body can begin to naturally surrender to the support of the safe and protected space that you are in.

During your yoga nidra practice you are functioning on the levels of awareness.

Open up to feeling and being and let go of doing completely.

Surrender now.

Allow your hearing to simply follow my voice as your guide and be kind to yourself.

Be kind to your anxious mind during this meditation.

When thoughts come up allow them to flow and then find your breath and allow yourself to become calm again and settled back into the practice and you will just naturally reconnect with the practice.

Remember that every moment spent in meditation is healing and beneficial even though spent in the wandering thought.

Just acknowledge the body again here just noticing yourself beginning to feel more calm and more settled.

And now let's begin to connect with your breath.

Let's begin with a soft yet deepened breath in through the nose.

Allowing your awareness to follow the breath as it enters the body and opens up the heart and belly.

And then follow the breath as you exhale out through the nose.

Take a few gentle yet wholesome rounds of breath here gently following it with your awareness.

Now settle into your organic rhythm of breath.

Notice the body.

Notice how with every steady breath the body submerges into the feeling of deep relaxation.

Notice the body surrendering into stillness.

Awareness of the stillness of the body.

Keep breathing and allow the mind to settle into stillness with a soft focused gaze resting in the space behind your closed eyes.

Allow your awareness to remain focused in the space as you continue to breathe.

Now withdraw back a little here and allow the space behind your closed eyes to expand into the infinite as your awareness withdraws back into the centre of the mind.

This is time to call in your personal intention and listen to your heart for a moment.

This is a personal truth that is set in Yoga Nidra to come to fruition in your reality.

Set a positive intention for yourself in the present tense and state it clearly three times silently to yourself from the heart.

And now draw your awareness down to the right hand thumb.

Awareness of the feeling of the right hand thumb.

Then find the first finger,

Second,

Third and fourth.

Legs and feet,

Awareness of the whole body now,

Awareness of the whole body,

Awareness of the whole body.

The whole body laying in complete comfort on the floor.

Reconnect with your breath,

Awareness of the breath.

As you breathe in through the nose,

Send the breath all the way down to the pit of the belly.

And then as you exhale,

The breath leaves the nose.

Envision a beautiful golden light coming in with the breath,

Healing universal light inviting in prana,

The vital life force energy that gives us new life.

As it fills up the whole entire body,

Every single cell in the body is revitalized with this new vital gift.

And as you breathe out,

Allow the body to expel the breath out of every single pore of the body.

Take away any tension.

Breathing in golden light filling up the whole body.

And then breathing out of every pore.

Notice how the body becomes even more calm.

Just following the breath in through the nose and then expelling out of every cell of the body.

Letting go.

Expelling out tension,

Letting go,

The mind is still and calm.

The body is peaceful and calm.

Letting go so effortlessly.

The energy that you let go of ripples out of the body.

Ripples like water.

And the body becomes fluid.

Allow the body to be still now.

Allow the body to feel heavy.

Feeling the sensation of heaviness in the body as you surrender into the depth of your practice.

The body is so relaxed it begins to sink into the floor.

The body is heavy.

The body is heavy.

The body is heavy.

Shifting awareness awakening the sensation of lightness in the body.

Body feels as light as a feather and begins to lift up off of the ground.

Light as a feather floating up.

The body is light.

The body is light.

The body is light.

Now coming back down to the space you are laying on.

The sensation of heat takes over the body.

Press of heat in the body from flesh down through to the bone.

The body is hot.

The body is hot.

The body is hot.

And the sensation of cold in the body.

The body is so cold.

Coldness in the entire body from the pelvis up the spine.

Hitting the nape of the neck.

The whole body.

The body is cold.

The body is cold.

The body is cold.

Awareness of the body in complete stillness,

In complete peace.

Drawing the awareness to the crown of the head envisioning beautiful purple energy at the crown of the head.

An orb of light at the crown center.

Allow this orb to spin gently in rhythm with the heartbeat in a clockwise direction.

The beautiful purple orb of light at the crown.

Coming down to the third eye now.

The energy center at the third eye.

Indigo light here.

Beautiful orb of indigo energy.

This one may need slowing down here so again we want to match the rhythm of the heartbeat.

So maybe the mind's eye slows down to do this here.

Beautiful indigo light.

Third eye energy center.

Coming down to the throat.

Blue orb of energy here at the throat energy center.

Begin to allow this to spin at the rhythm of the heartbeat in a clockwise direction.

Blue light at the throat energy center.

And coming down to the heart.

Envisioning the green color here.

Nice emerald.

Emerald green light at the heart center,

Middle of the chest.

A place where we do hold on to a lot of our anxiety so quite possible here that we can move this energy center a little bit faster to match the rhythm of the heartbeat.

Again clockwise direction,

Emerald green.

Beautiful light.

Energy from the heart center.

Starting clockwise in rhythm with the heartbeat.

Coming down to the solar plexus now.

Envision a beautiful yellow orb of light at the solar plexus energy center in the body.

Creative light.

Beautiful golden sunny yellow.

Again tuning in with the heart here listening to the heartbeat.

Then allowing that to spin with the rhythm of the heart.

And then coming down to the sacral.

Just below the belly button.

Beautiful orange light here at the sacral.

And again tapping into the rhythm of the heart allowing this to spin in a clockwise direction.

Beautiful orange light.

And then we come down to the root.

Again the root chakra may be one that we need to encourage to spin a little bit faster than it is and you might feel some resistance here.

Often we are under balanced in the root when we are experiencing anxiety as the mind's eye and the third eye energy center becomes over activated with anxiety.

We often find that the root is under activated so just be present in this space at the tail bone here.

And take a moment to feel the energy and start spinning a gorgeous red orb of light at the tail bone tapping into the heartbeat.

And now all of the energy centers in the physical body are rotating at the same speed.

Just feel that in your body for a moment.

Feel that sense of balance.

And how this experience can free the mind.

Intensify your awareness of the color of every orb in the body.

Purple,

Indigo,

Blue,

Green,

Yellow,

Orange and red.

Intensify that awareness and allow this light to expand out.

Full of chakra energy center energy in the body.

Allow the body to resonate with this.

Maybe you can feel a tingling sensation in the cells of the body or underneath the layer of skin.

And come back to the space behind your closed eyes.

Settling into the sankalpa which is the intention that you set for yourself at the beginning of practice today.

And state that again to yourself clearly three times in the present tense.

And then just let it go.

Find the breath.

Reconnect once more.

This time,

Breathe in a little deeper.

Open up the chest and the belly again as wide as you can.

Nice deep breath.

Inhale into the whole entire body.

And exhale out through the mouth.

Keep breathing like this.

Nice deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And start to gently awaken the body.

Be kind to yourself as you wake up and bring life into the fingers and toes.

And then moving the feet and hands in a gentle way.

Listen to the body.

Maybe you would like to stay in Shavasana for a little longer.

With invitation to do so,

Enjoy a beautiful rest of the day.

If you would like to start moving on with your day,

Continue to make big emotions with the body.

You can reach your arms up and overhead.

And draw the knees into the chest.

Rocking from side to side,

Releasing any tension out of the lower back.

Be slow and kind.

Even if you could wake up like this every single day,

How would you allow yourself to wake up?

And then take over to one side in fetal position and just stay here for a moment and see if you get any additional last minute downloads of information or something you might want to journal about your experience.

And when you are ready,

You can start to bring yourself up to a seated position.

And just stay here for a few more moments and just sit with yourself.

Enjoy this time that you are dedicating to yourself.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be your guide throughout this practice and for trusting in me on this journey.

It is such an honor and I wish you the most beautiful,

Calm,

Blessed out day.

Jaiしультatsu.
