Today we're entering a sacred space where your inner child is waiting to be seen,

Heard,

And held with unconditional love.

There's nothing you have to force,

Only an invitation to reconnect,

To listen,

And to begin a new relationship built on trust and tenderness.

My name is Cari,

And today I'm going to be your guide.

Let's begin by taking a few nice,

Easy,

Deep breaths in through the nose.

As you exhale,

Just release any tension,

Any news of the day,

And anything weighing upon you.

Again,

Breathe in through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth.

As you release your breath,

Your energy begins to center itself in the present moment.

Whether you see images or just feel things,

Imagine now that a very strong root is beginning to emerge from the base of your spine.

It widens to be the width of your hips,

And then it grows and moves down through the layers of the earth,

Finding its way to the very molten center where you feel the sense of safety,

Stability,

And peace.

Should any thoughts arise,

Just imagine that they're all being released down through your grounding cord.

Any surface-level tension or thoughts that arise just easily begin to release down through the grounding cord.

As we begin,

Some of you may be able to visualize images,

And some of you might be able to sense or feel things,

And some may just know.

Whatever form you come to,

This visualization and exercise with is absolutely perfect.

As we begin,

I just want to invite you to imagine or sense that you're stepping into a beautiful,

Sacred place created just for you and your inner child.

Imagine that it's a peaceful place full of beautiful things,

Comfort,

And a sense of familiarity.

Open up your senses.

Notice if you're hearing anything.

If you can feel anything,

And take in the experience.

In this safe place,

You feel comfortable,

And there's a deep sense of love and safety.

Just ahead of you,

I want you to imagine,

Whether you see it or not,

That your inner child begins to approach you.

As they slowly come towards you,

Going at their own pace,

You begin to reach out to them energetically,

Sending them signals of love,

Comfort,

And peace.

Whatever unfolds,

Trust yourself in this moment.

As your inner child comes towards you,

Notice or sense what age they are.

What is their mood?

In this place,

There's no judgment,

No expectations,

And no pressure.

Place your hands out towards them in an invitation to welcome them in closer to you.

Find a warm and cozy place for both of you to sit.

In this place,

You're simply holding safe space for your inner child to connect.

No need to have any expectations or desire for outcome.

As you sit with your inner child,

Ask them,

What do you need me to know?

Ask them if there's anything they need from you to help them feel comfortable,

Safe,

And honored.

If any feelings should arise,

Images,

Or even silence,

Just know that in this place,

Your role is to simply hold space for them.

Hold space for their healing,

Their understanding,

And to help them feel safe and protected.

Now,

Let your inner child know that you will return here often to connect.

The bond here is just reforming,

And there's no need to rush the process.

As you begin to make your way back,

Ask them if there's anything else they need from you.

In closing,

Take a nice gentle deep breath in,

Exhale,

And say your goodbyes to your inner child for now,

Knowing that they are always a part of you,

And it's easy to connect at any given moment.

As you begin to shift your attention,

Take your breath in through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth.

You release anything that might have arisen,

Any emotions,

Feelings,

Or memories.

Just begin to release and let go.

You're beginning to shift now back into your body.

In this moment,

Taking a breath in through the nose,

Knowing that your inner child knows now that you are here,

That you are listening,

And you can return to this safe place whenever you need to,

And your bond will grow stronger with every visit.

Take a deep breath in again,

And exhale,

Honoring the beautiful connection you are rebuilding.
