Hello,

Hi and welcome.

Welcome to a little moment of respite,

An opportunity to recover and wind down in the middle of the day.

Winding down in the middle of the day right here,

Right now.

Perhaps you find yourself here between two planned activities during your day,

Or perhaps you are just in the in-between space of some of the things you are doing.

Regardless of your reason for being here,

This is a moment to relax and a moment to recuperate.

And in doing so,

You will find yourself better dressed for the rest of the day,

More able to handle what comes after this moment of rest.

My name is Katrin and I will be holding you company during this short break.

I will be guiding you during this moment of rest.

So find yourself a comfortable position,

Sitting or laying down.

You can be inside or,

If the weather allows,

Perhaps outside.

Choose what is right for you today,

Whichever you choose,

That is your choice.

And take a moment and look around you.

Look around at this place where you have decided to take this time to rest.

This place is where you are going to take your break right now.

And if you feel comfortable doing so,

Close your eyes or find a spot to rest them on.

Consider the reason as to why you decided upon this rest today.

What the purpose of this rest is for you today.

What is your intention?

Acknowledge this intention and know that this is your reason for resting and let it go.

And thus we head into this moment of relaxation.

We're heading into this break.

So take a breath in your own way.

Breathe just like you breathe.

Breathing fast,

Slow or deep or breathing shallow.

Breathe just like you breathe.

And then take a few breaths together with me.

And in doing so,

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And here we go.

So breathe in through the nose and hold for a second.

And then breathe out through the mouth.

And again,

In through the nose and hold for a second.

And out through the mouth.

And the last one together.

In through the nose and hold and out through the mouth.

And then continue breathing in your own way.

Continue breathing just like you breathe.

Taking breath after breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And in and out.

In,

Out.

Feel your body relaxing with every breath out.

Somewhat tensing with every breath in.

And then feel the tension leaving the body with the next breath out.

Just breathe.

Let your mind wind down.

Relax your body.

Just rest.

Lower your shoulders.

Relax your cheeks.

Relax your chin and jaws.

Relax your forehead.

And relax the tender muscles around your eyes.

And relax your neck and your back and your arms and your legs.

And then relax your shoulders again.

Let your breath relax mind and body.

Breathe in,

Out in your own way.

Like you breathe.

Just like you breathe.

And for the next moments just listen to your own breaths.

Just feel them in your body.

Every breath is a breath.

Every breath is a breath.

Is your breath.

Just listen.

Feel your breathing inside your body.

Whilst listening to your self breathing.

What else can you hear around you?

Apart from your breaths?

Are there any other sounds?

Are there other sounds trying to get your attention?

Drawing your attention away.

If this is true for you then just know that this is normal.

It's natural.

Just acknowledge them and let them be there.

Let them be there on the outskirts of this moment of you resting.

It's okay.

Just keep resting.

Take your time and listen to your self.

Breathe.

Breathe in your own way.

Breathe.

Just like you breathe.

Breathe fast or slow or deep or shallow.

Every breath is your breath.

Is a breath.

Breathe and rest.

Breathe just like you breathe.

In and out.

Relax.

In and out.

Winding down.

Just be.

Lower your shoulders.

Relax your cheek.

Chin.

Jaws.

Forehead.

The muscles around the eyes.

Your neck.

Your back.

Your legs.

Your arms.

And your shoulders again.

And breathe in,

Out in your own way.

Listen to your breaths.

Feel them.

And start moving around a little bit.

This little moment of rest is about to come to its end.

Thank yourself for having taken this time for yourself to rest.

To relax.

To wind down.

Right here.

Right here.

In the middle of the day.

Stretch a little.

Move your body.

Your legs.

Your arms.

Your neck.

Stretch.

Let yourself slowly awaken from this break.

And thank you for taking this time together with me.

For having taken this time out of the day to wind down.

To recuperate.

Letting the mind and the body pause for a bit.

And this is where I leave you today.

And when you are ready in your own time,

You can slowly open your eyes and continue your day.

Have a nice day.
