This practice aids in grounding, calming, and connecting deeply within by using energy practices inspired by Prune Harris, Energy Expert and author of the book, Your Radiant Soul. These healing hold techniques calm the nervous system and help you think more clearly which creates space for being present with the deepest part of yourself. It is great to use in times of distress, overwhelm, emotional triggers, obsessive thinking, and during the fight, flight, freeze response. Music of Wisdom is the royalty-free composer of the binaural beats music on this track.

Welcome,

I invite you into any comfortable position but for this practice I do recommend lying down with extra pillows on either side of your body to prop your arms.

You can always sit or even stand if your body needs gentle movement.

We will be using some practices inspired by Prune Harris,

Energy Expert and author of the book Your Radiant Soul.

It is my intention in sharing these practices to help you become calm,

Centered and connect with the deepest part of yourself.

Know that you can pause this recording at any time if you need more time to process.

Before you close your eyes,

I invite you to notice what is in front of your body,

Noting how far that object may be from your body,

Like a wall or the ceiling.

Now sensing what is behind your back and noting how you can do this without looking.

Take in what is on either side of your body.

Now close your eyes and perceive what is above your head and below your feet,

Anchoring yourself into this moment in time and space.

Now locate the base of your skull at the back of your neck.

Move your attention to the first vertebra in your spine.

Slip your attention down your spine to your neck,

Upper back,

Shoulder blade area or back door to the heart,

To your mid back,

Lower back,

Sacrum and tailbone.

Move your attention down your legs to the soles of your feet.

Hold your attention at the soles of your feet while you sense your spine from your neck all the way down to your tailbone.

Now take both of your hands to the center of your chest,

Placing one on top of the other.

Imagine making small circles with your hands at your heart.

Rest your hands there.

Move your attention deep within your heart space.

You're inviting your heart to open,

Inviting in inner connection.

Let your body know that you are safe and that it's okay to release any guarding or holding.

Remember that you are a spirit living in a human body.

I invite you to set the intention to connect deeply with yourself.

Now shift your awareness to your breath.

During this practice,

You will be doing straw breathing.

To begin,

Exhale,

Pull belly to spine,

Releasing stale air.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale through your mouth with puckered lips as if you're breathing through a straw.

Inhale through your nose and exhale through puckered lips like you're breathing out through a straw.

Continuing at your own pace,

Allowing those exhalations to be long and slow.

Keep breathing as you place one hand on your forehead,

Lay it flat across your forehead,

And place your other hand at the base of the skull at the back of the head where the bottom of the skull meets your neck.

So you have one hand on your forehead and one hand at the base of your skull.

Keep breathing.

Try to relax your arms as much as possible while we continue with this healing hold technique.

You can always switch hands if needed or prop your arms with pillows or place them on your knees or a desk.

Focus your attention on straw breathing,

Elongating your exhalation.

Holding your hands in this manner will aid you in becoming more clear and calm,

Releasing the grip of fear.

I will be silent here to hold space for you as you stay with this hold for a little while longer.

Keep your focus on your breathing.

Now release your hands back to your heart.

Place one hand on top of the other in the center of your chest.

Notice any shifts in your state of being.

Now continue with the straw breathing and listen carefully.

With your hands at your heart,

Simply extend your crossed hands out so that your fingers are laying flat on the top of your arm creases where the arms and body connect.

You can gently massage this area.

You're making a big X mark across your heart center with your hands.

Relax your elbows and let your hands rest on the arm creases.

Now begin to tap.

First tap one side and then tap the other.

Super gentle tapping.

Finding your own rhythm.

One hand tapping one side and the other tapping the other side.

And I encourage you to bring in a soft sway or rock to your body.

Keep breathing.

Gently focusing on your breath as you invite your heart to open,

Your nervous system to calm.

Your body will let you know when it's time to let go of the tapping.

Simply laying the hands on the arm creases.

Gently tapping and rocking.

If emotions come up while you're here,

Acknowledge them and sense where you feel them in your body.

Allowing whatever is arising with love and compassion.

I encourage you not to get lost in the story,

But simply be with your body and your breath.

Nurture yourself here as I hold space for you to process.

If you need more time,

Simply pause the recording.

When you are ready,

Let go of your breath.

Stop the tapping if you haven't done so already.

Resting the hands at the arm creases.

Now gently pull your hands together at your heart in the center of your chest.

Sense deep within your heart and notice that inner connection.

You may ask yourself what part of me is unchanging?

Or what part of me is in stillness?

Making a connection with your eternal spirit.

Your spirit is right here to aid you on your journey.

Sending you so much love my friends.

Wishing you deep peace.
