Hello,
Welcome to this meditation led by Claudia Silas,
Mindful movement and meditation teacher.
Together we're going to take five minutes to pause and be present.
You can practice this meditation anywhere,
Sitting,
Lying,
Standing,
Whenever you just need a quick moment of coming back to yourself,
Coming back into your present moment and resettling.
So just spend a moment adjusting,
Making yourself comfortable wherever you are.
You can close your eyes if it's appropriate.
Perhaps you need to let your shoulders drop down or let your jaw and face relax.
Check in with anywhere else that may be tense and allow the space to soften.
Gain a sense of equilibrium and balance in your body.
Starting to shift your awareness into a sense of being.
Just a sense of aliveness.
Presence with your body,
Your breathing,
The space around you.
Try not to overthink it,
Coming into presence,
Into being.
You don't really have to do much,
You just have to shift your perspective into this sense of presence,
Your being,
This life.
And this is a quality that we can all tap into whenever we want.
It's just about shifting our attention.
No matter where you are,
What's going on around you,
You can open to your moment.
You can open to being,
To being present.
We tend to live a lot in our heads,
In our virtual world of stories and plans.
But what's it like just for a few moments to come into your sensations,
Into your space,
Into your body?
Notice your aliveness,
Notice your being.
And how wonderful to know that you don't have to go anywhere or do anything special,
You just have to shift your perspective.
So just keep a sense of this quality that you've found.
But we're going to take three breaths in and out together.
So we're going to take them in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
So deep breath in.
Let it go.
Two more clearing breaths like that.
In through the nose,
Out through your mouth.
And a final breath.
If your eyes are closed,
You can open them now.
Look around and consciously take in the space around you.
Carry a sense of this feeling as you continue now through your day.
Thank you so much for practicing with me.
