Hi,

My name is Dustin and today we'll be doing a mountain meditation to help you find strength and tranquility throughout your day.

Start by finding a comfortable position.

Try to find a posture that makes you feel both comfortable and stable.

If you're sitting on a chair,

Make sure to plant both feet flat on the ground and to straighten your back.

If you're sitting cross-legged,

Try leaning forwards and backwards,

Left and right,

Until you find the right posture in which the weight of your upper body falls in a straight line from the top of your head to the area between your pelvis and your spine,

So that you don't have to exert any unnecessary effort to remain seated this way.

Once you've found your balance,

Allow yourself to become completely still.

Close your eyes and become aware of any obvious tension you may be experiencing in your body.

Take a deep,

Full breath in,

Expanding your belly and chest as much as you can,

And then releasing everything on your exhale,

Letting go of any tension,

Worries,

Or planning that may be on your mind.

Take another deep breath in,

And as you slowly exhale,

Allow your mind to settle completely.

Notice where you feel your breath the strongest.

Perhaps you feel it the strongest in the rise and fall of your belly,

Perhaps in your chest and lungs,

Or perhaps in the area in and around your nostrils.

Notice where you feel your breath the strongest.

Perhaps you feel it the strongest in the rise and fall of your belly,

Or perhaps in the area in and around your nostrils.

Whatever it is,

Keep your focus on this area,

And gently let your breathing fall into its natural rhythm.

Now imagine that you're standing at the foothills of the most magnificent mountain.

Perhaps it's a mountain you know,

Or a mountain from your imagination.

Visualize every detail you can.

The color of the sky,

The crest of the mountain,

The shape of trees.

On your next inhale,

Notice how fresh the air at this altitude feels.

All the textures that are surrounding you.

The bark of trees,

The bark of trees,

The rocks at your feet,

All the leaves within your reach.

And perhaps you can feel a gentle breeze caressing your face and dissolving any remaining tension that may be here.

Now imagine that as you were observing this mountain with your fullest attention,

You became completely one with it.

In fact,

You are the mountain now.

You're this vast volume of rock and earth,

With tremendous weight and strength anchored in the ground.

Your head is the peak of this mountain,

Soaring high up in the sky.

At times,

Your vision may be blocked by a cloud,

But as soon as you notice it,

It's as if it magically dissipates into clear blue sky.

And you remember that you are this mountain,

Not the cloud.

You can allow clouds to go past you one by one serenely,

Knowing that you are unaffected by whatever temporarily blocks your sight.

Notice how still you are.

Countless storms of rain,

And the wind,

Hail,

And snow have raged on your summit without being able to make you move even a single inch.

And this has been going on for thousands of years.

The way you're anchored into the ground,

And your erectness,

Naturally gives you a sense of dignity and strength,

Without you having to exert any unnecessary tension,

Any excessive force.

The quake of your presence benefits anything that comes your way.

Animals find shelter and shade to come rest at your side.

The air flows freely between the leaves of the trees,

And the wind is purified by percolating through you.

And finally,

Notice how the wind blows through the trees,

And the wind blows through the trees,

And the wind blows through the trees,

And the trees are purified by the air that is flowing through you.

And finally,

Notice how everything around you is constantly changing.

Day turns into night.

Heat turns into cold.

Day turns into night.

Heat turns into cold.

The clear blue sky above you turns into a canopy of stars.

Seasons go by one after the other,

Changing your colors in every single moment.

The noise of birds and loud mountain streams sometimes disrupts the silence,

Only to fall back into it again.

Before ending this meditation,

Notice how you feel in this moment.

If this meditation has helped you to find any peace of mind,

Make an intention to carry it with you throughout your day.

And whenever you're ready,

You can gently come back to the world around you.

The surrounding noise,

The feeling of the clothes on your body,

And as you open your eyes,

All the shapes and colors around you.

I hope you enjoyed this meditation.

Remember that you can bring this sensation of being as strong and grounded as a mountain any time you want.

Just remember to pay attention to how firmly you are anchored in the ground beneath you,

And how erect and balanced your posture is.

Visualizing the calm,

Dignified quality of the mountain can help you find the stillness and strength to overcome any challenge that may come up throughout your day.

Merci pour cette belle méditation ! J’avais peur que les bruits de fond (les oiseaux) ne me dérangent et finalement pas du tout.
