Welcome to this meditation for stress,
Tension and letting go.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position.
Maybe you find a comfortable seat or maybe you lay down.
Just find somewhere where you can completely let go.
And then just allow yourself to come to stillness.
Gently closing the eyes and resting the hands wherever they fall comfortably.
Then take a moment to just draw your attention to your breath.
Without changing or altering it.
Just gently observing it as it peacefully flows in and out of the body.
And wherever you are in the breath cycle.
Gently just let it go.
Exhale completely.
Now let's take a beautiful big inhale through the nose.
Feel the lungs completely.
And now open the mouth and exhale fully.
Let everything go.
Take two more breaths just like that.
Inhale fill up your lungs.
Exhale let everything go.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And then just gently allow the breath to return back to a slow and natural pace.
Gently flowing in and out.
And then just allow yourself this time to unwind and softly be.
Giving yourself permission to be here.
Because you deserve to be here.
Give yourself permission to set aside all that has been and all that is to come.
Knowing that that will all be there to go back to if you need.
But this time is your time.
To be right here,
Right now.
And then for the next few moments nothing else matters.
Take a moment to recognise and observe any thoughts in the mind and any sensations in the body.
Really look into what is arising or what you are feeling.
Without judgement just observation.
If you can,
Gently let them go.
Otherwise just simply let them be there with quietened acceptance.
Take a moment to feel the support below you.
Feel the earth below you,
Grounding you,
Healing you,
Calming you,
Connecting you.
And then feel the softness from above.
A gentle sense of ease coming down from the heavens and resting a comforting warmth all over the body.
Feel the air around you,
Gently caressing your skin and flowing in and out of your lungs.
You are safe,
You are held,
You are supported.
Now gently draw your attention to the breath.
With each inhale visualise a gentle wave washing up over the body from the tips of the toes to the crown of the head.
And as that wave washes up over the body it washes over you a sense of total relaxation,
Total softness,
Total surrender and ease.
And then as you breathe out this wave washes back down over the body and out to sea and it takes away with it all that you no longer need.
All that no longer serves you any tensions,
Any stresses,
Any worries,
Whatever it may be.
So with each breath in that gentle wave washes over the body a sense of total tranquility and ease.
And each breath out it takes away all that no longer serves you.
With each breath you slowly allow this wave to wash over and wash away so that you can come back to your purest version of yourself and allow yourself to simply be.
So spend a few moments here just allowing this washing of the wave.
Feel the body soften and let go with every breath.
Keep breathing,
Being and visualising this beautiful wave of tranquility.
Gently let go of the visualisation.
Just observe the body.
Notice the mind and let yourself simply be.
Feel the support from below and the softness from above.
Know that you are held always and forever.
You have full permission to let go.
Knowing you can come back to this gentle wave breath whenever and wherever you may need.
Full access to surrender and let go.
And then take a beautiful deep breath in.
And as you breathe in feel calmness in every part of your being.
Hold on to that as you exhale.
Keep that sense of calmness with you as you go about your day.
And any time you feel disconnected from that just take a moment to stop and breathe.
Feel free to stay here for some time or gently slowly re-enter into your surroundings.
