This is a tool I use at the beginning of each session to allow clients to soften and feel more embodied. Daily attention to our mental health has a cumulative positive effect. Daily use is therefore suggested.

Take a moment to pause.

Put both feet flat on the floor.

Push your energy into your feet,

Noticing how it aligns your spine,

Aligns your awareness.

The point of being here in this body is to embody your soul in your physical body.

Your physical body is the antenna for the emotions that you don't pay attention to.

So let's use the next three to four minutes to just get aware,

To ground yourself in your physical body and allow yourself to breathe.

Take a big inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Exhale.

One more time.

Inhale.

Hold.

And exhale.

Take this time to feel into your physical body.

There's no right or wrong way to do this.

With long,

Slow inhales and long,

Slow exhales,

Regulating your nervous system,

Manifesting heart-brain coherence.

Notice any tight places in your physical body.

Lean into those physical places,

Those physical tightnesses.

Have a conversation with your own body,

Telling it,

I love you and I am listening.

What do those tight spots need you to know?

How do they need you to move?

What have you been ignoring that you need to pay attention to?

Activate a feeling of appreciation for someone or something.

Let go of the tightness.

Activate the love.

See your best version of you,

Your most vibrant and alive version of you.

Moving forward with motivation,

With grace,

With confidence,

With peace.

Gently open your eyes.

Look around,

Name five things to yourself.

Reground yourself in your physical body.

Be the change you want to see.

Namaste.

I really enjoyed this, particularly your speaking and prompts, which felt serene and thoughtful. (Suggestion: Maybe consider new background music that is more calm and peaceful to complement your calm presence.) Thank you!!
