Welcome to this short breathing meditation to help you relax,
Calm down,
Refocus and balance your inner energy.
Prepare yourself for this practice,
Just sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.
You can roll your shoulders back a few times to release the tension and create more space in the shoulders.
And when you're ready close your eyes,
Place right hand on your belly and left hand on your heart.
Breathing deeply from the space of your belly through your ribs and then the chest.
Exhale relax through the chest,
The ribs and belly.
Inhale feel the breath expanding within you.
Exhale just relax,
Feel the space that you are creating.
And a few more times like that just simply feeling your breath underneath your hands,
Expanding with every breath in and relaxing with every breath out.
Now we're going to take three deep releasing breaths.
So we'll be inhaling through the nose,
Expanding and opening the heart space.
And on the exhale just big sigh out to release the tension,
To release the stiffness.
So start slowly inhaling through your nose,
Feeling your belly,
Your ribs and chest expanding.
And exhale let all the tension just melt away.
Don't be afraid to make a big sigh out,
Audible sigh out.
So two more times like this,
Nice and deep inhale as you are opening up,
Feel your chest and full exhale,
Relaxing even more.
And one more time inhaling for a little bit longer,
A little bit deeper and release it all down.
Just notice how you feel from within,
Releasing any heaviness,
Any worries from your mind,
Any thoughts about the past or about the future.
Just being here and now present with yourself.
Come back to this three part breath,
Inhaling through your belly,
Ribs and chest,
Opening and exhaling through your mouth or your nose,
Slowly releasing.
Inhale 1,
2,
3 and exhale 1,
2,
3.
Inhale belly,
Ribs and chest,
Feel the expansion,
Exhale chest,
Ribs and belly.
Ok let's do three more times like that,
Following the easy and open flow of the breath,
Feeling this freedom and celebrating the life within you.
This breath is giving you life,
So make it count,
Nourish yourself with this breath.
Few more times.
And then slowly you can release your hands,
Place them on your lap,
On your thighs.
Just feel yourself open,
Lengthening your spine,
Keeping the shoulders down,
Away from your ears and your heart open for the rest of this day.
Thank you so much for connecting and taking the time to breathe.
It's a simple but a very powerful practice,
So feel free to come back here whenever you need a little break,
A little refreshment and refocus.
Thank you so much.
Namaste.
