Good morning lovely beings. Please join me in this morning's affirmation practice. This practice is great for those of us who wake up with minds stirring with all of our to-do's for the day, redirecting our focus to our inherent worthiness. From this state of being, may we move forward with more clarity, wisdom, and peace. Peace and Love. Note: This meditation includes soft background music. Good morning and welcome to Wise Puppy Meditations.

Today we will be working on a morning affirmation practice to support a sense of presence throughout the day ahead of us.

Give yourself permission to surrender to the practice.

You don't have to do anything or think about anything.

I'll guide you.

I've got you.

We can start by finding our comfortable seated position,

Finding that balance of strength and ease.

Allow your eyes to gently close or rest on a corner or edge in front of you.

I'll invite you to bring your attention to the body,

Allowing any areas of tension to relax,

Allowing the body to settle in,

Trusting that the earth beneath us will carry us.

We can connect with the breath,

Using it to breathe into our posture,

Taking some deep breaths and then finding that natural rhythm.

We breathe in the morning light.

We breathe out any residual fatigue from the night.

As we engage in this practice,

Thoughts will inevitably arise.

The point of meditation is never to stop having thoughts.

Those are simply neural networks firing by habit.

The idea is to notice them and by doing so connect to our deeper part of ourselves that can simply observe with openness,

Non-judgment and curiosity.

Often in the morning,

Our minds may begin to plan and strategize.

We might even sense worry about the to-do's of the upcoming day.

It's important to recognize that although disruptive,

These thoughts and feelings are trying to be helpful.

So we can conjure up some gratitude for the mind as it attempts to prepare us for the day.

While working with the wisdom that our successes throughout the day are largely based on our level of presence in that moment.

And the best way to prepare us for that is to start right now.

In this moment.

For the next few minutes,

We shall settle into our beings.

Repeating the following phrases out loud or in our minds.

With each slow exhale,

I am here.

I am present.

I am worthy.

Exactly as I am in this moment.

I am here.

I am present.

I am worthy.

Exactly as I am in this moment.

I am here.

I am present.

I am worthy.

Exactly as I am in this moment.

I am here.

I am present.

I am worthy.

Exactly as I am in this moment.

All I am responsible for doing right now is being.

From this state of being,

I will move forward into my day with more clarity,

Wisdom,

And peace.

All I am responsible for doing right now is being.

From this state of being,

I will move forward into my day with more clarity,

Wisdom,

And peace.

All I am responsible for doing right now is being.

From this state of being,

I will move forward into my day with more clarity,

Wisdom,

And peace.

As we transition into the rest of our day,

We can do so knowing that we can return to this state of being at any time.

One of presence.

One that doesn't get lost in what we need to do or what we may need to accomplish,

But stands firmly and grounded in who and how we know we can be.
