An unconscious life is driven by habits,

Limiting beliefs,

Social pressure and old conditioning.

Today I invite you to take back control and start cultivating a sense of awareness of your body,

Mind,

Breath and emotions.

Choose to live consciously,

Choose freedom.

Find your way to a comfortable seat.

Pull out the flesh from underneath your sit bones to rotate your hips forwards creating a natural curve in your spine.

This allows you to sit up nice and straight.

Rest your hands in your lap.

Gently raise your chin and gradually close down your eyes.

See if you can become aware of the space around you by using your senses.

Listen to the sounds,

Notice the smells and feel the air brush gently on your skin.

Now shift your focus inwards to the body.

Let your awareness move from the lower part of your body gradually up to the crown of your head as if you are doing a full body dance.

Notice if there is anything going on in your body.

Is your body tired or perhaps full of energy?

Do you have any aches or pains or any areas that require particular attention today?

Feel the sensation of your muscles,

Bones,

Bloodstream and tune in to the rhythmic pulse of your heartbeat.

Give your body full permission to relax,

Allowing your muscles to soften and any tension to dissolve.

Now bring your awareness to your mind.

Are any thoughts present?

Imagine your mind like a cloudy sky,

Each cloud representing a different thought.

Now acknowledge your thoughts and let them go as if they were a passing cloud.

Once the sky is clear,

The sun shines through and your mind is calm.

Let's move on to the breath.

Observe it and sense the air touching your nostrils as you inhale and exhale through your nose.

Is your breath fast or slow?

Steady or uneven?

Deep or shallow?

Loud or quiet?

There's no right or wrong answer here.

Observe the breath without judgement.

Slowly begin to lengthen your inhale and exhale,

Allowing the oxygen to flow freely,

Nourishing every breath.

I now invite you to tune in to your emotional state.

How are you feeling today?

Whatever your mood at present,

See if you can move up the emotional scale of well-being,

Reaching out for an even better feeling emotion.

Now notice your energy,

Your vibration.

Is your energy high or is it low?

Using the breath,

See if you can build up the energy from within,

Balancing your vibrations.

Inhale love,

Exhale fear.

Inhale love,

Exhale fear.

Inhale L-O-V-E,

Exhale F-E-A-R.

Inhale L-O-V-E,

Exhale F-E-A-R.

With every inhale embodying the feeling of love and with every exhale letting go of anything that does not serve you.

Now return to a normal breath and sit in stillness for a few moments,

Noticing the sensations you created in your body and bringing yourself to a space of acceptance,

Calm and peace.

Moving out of the body,

Bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

Listening to the sounds around you,

The smells and noticing the air in your skin.

And whenever you're ready,

Gently opening up your eyes and noticing all the beautiful colours around you.

Have a wonderful day ahead.
