Notice that the longer you stay still,
The more relaxed you are becoming,
Both physically and mentally.
Allow yourself to feel the subtle relaxation of the body and of the mind.
Allow this place to be filled with positive,
Calm thoughts.
In this space,
You remember that everything is happening perfectly.
Everything is going exactly as planned.
Everything is as it should be.
Your mind may have other ideas.
You may be complaining,
Afraid and anxious.
You know that these are just thoughts.
They are not who you are.
It may not seem as if things are going according to plan right now.
But let's just remind ourselves that we don't always know what is best for us.
And that we grow the most through challenging situations.
We can't always change external situations.
But we can change the way we react to them.
We can replace our anxiety with the thought,
Everything is happening perfectly.
We can replace our fear with the thought,
Everything is happening perfectly.
When anxiety arises,
We can speak to it lovingly.
We can say,
I understand you are afraid and you are worried about how things might turn out.
But as you have no control over these things,
Why not trust that everything is happening perfectly.
If there is something happening that we can change,
Then let's have the courage to change it.
But that which we have no control over,
We must simply accept and trust that everything is happening perfectly,
Just the way it should be,
Even if it doesn't appear to be so.
We can also remind ourselves that one of the best ways to overcome anxiety is to help others.
When we are anxious,
We are focused entirely on ourselves,
Our thoughts whirl round and round.
We can break that cycle by doing something for someone,
By thinking about what others need and how we can fulfil their needs.
So let's be in this perfect moment,
In which everything is happening perfectly.
Allow ourselves to feel the calm and peace of knowing this deeply.
And as we bring this peace into our lives,
It can radiate out to the lives of those who we are in contact with.
We can cease to be anxious,
Because this doesn't help ourselves or others.
We can remind ourselves that everything is happening perfectly.
And when we arise from this meditation,
We can bring the calm and confidence that we feel with us into our daily lives.
And whenever we need to,
We can remind ourselves that everything is happening perfectly.
And as we bring this peace into our lives,
It can radiate out to the lives of others.
