Transcript

So spending a little time together now,

Getting in touch and in tune with your body,

Helping you feel more grounded at home,

Comfortable on your skin and safe in your body here and now.

Letting yourself get comfortable in whatever position feels right for you now.

And allowing your body to yield to gravity,

To the support beneath you.

You are supported now.

Give yourself permission to experience this in whatever way it comes to you.

It's fine if you drift off.

That's what minds do.

Just gently coming back to the sound of my voice and the feeling of your body when you notice that you've drifted off.

Allowing your body and breath to be portals into this moment of now.

And as we integrate with our feeling awareness,

Body and mind seemingly separate,

We can begin to experience the true oneness within that is ultimately one with the universe.

So starting with bringing awareness to the face,

Allowing it to smooth out the space between your eyes,

The brow,

The temples and the cheeks.

Softening the jaw,

Allowing space between the upper and lower teeth.

The tongue can soften,

Relaxing at the base of the tongue and allow the scalp to soften.

The eyes let go of the need to see.

The ears can let any other sounds come and go.

Let the weight of your head release into the surface beneath you.

And the weight of thoughts can begin releasing too.

Gently,

Naturally,

Without forcing.

Feeling the flow of air,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

The whole face,

The whole head,

Sensing the energetic presence here.

Warmth,

Pulsation,

Breathing.

Now letting your awareness relax down into the neck and throat.

Accepting what you feel here is the key to more effortlessly releasing any tightness or tension.

Feeling the flow of breathing as it moves back and forth,

Up and down.

Up the portal of the neck and throat,

Conjoining the head and the heart,

Mind and body.

Now the shoulders,

Gently releasing,

Down and back,

Letting go.

Again just accepting whatever you might feel here to the best of your ability.

As what you resist not only persists but grows in size.

And sensing now the arms,

The upper arms and elbows,

Forearms and wrists,

The hands and fingers.

And here in your hands you may feel tingling,

Vibrations,

As the sensitive hands have thousands of nerve endings.

And it's often easiest to feel your life force energy,

Prana,

Chi,

Vitality in your hands and fingers.

And you can feel each individual finger on both hands.

Index fingers,

Middle fingers,

Ring fingers,

Little fingers and thumbs.

Now awareness feels the chest and belly as they expand and contract together.

A more even rhythmic flow as you relax,

Letting go even more.

Notice relaxing the heart,

The lungs and all the great organs of the digestive system,

Sensing their presence.

Continuously working harmoniously together for you now.

You may even feel here rumbling in your belly,

Rusting and digesting,

Safety and healing,

The relaxation response.

Sensing the whole back now,

Upper back and shoulder blades releasing,

Middle back softening,

And lower back letting go.

And sensing the energy of the spine itself flowing more freely back and forth between the body and the brain,

Brain and body,

Allowing all your nerves to calm,

Calming down,

Quieting down,

Letting go.

And awareness moving down through the hips and pelvis,

Relaxing down through the legs,

The upper legs and knees,

Lower legs and ankles,

The feet and the toes.

And now be aware of both legs,

Both arms,

The head and neck,

The torso,

All connected.

An integrated volume of feeling space,

An energetic field of presence,

A flow of energy,

A way of vibrating,

The activity known as you.

Not a noun but a verb.

And all your energy flowing more freely now,

With less resistance,

With less impedance.

All your energy,

The energy flow that is you,

Flowing more freely now in everything you do and all around you.

And just taking the rest of the time and space in the stillness while I'm quiet,

Bathing in your gentle accepting awareness,

Feeling the energy field called your body,

Grounded at home,

Safe,

More at peace in your body,

Mind and spirit.

And all will be well.

And all is well.
