This course offers you a tool that I call Framing. This tool is great for separating your identity from your habits and also from your upsetting experiences and emotions. In lesson 1, I'll explain the technique, and how to use it. Lesson 2 offers you a guided practice session to give this tool a try for yourself.


Meet your Teacher

Alice Langholt is a parent, author and Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified Practitioner of EFT and Introspective Hypnosis. She is the Executive Director of Reiki Awakening Academy. Alice has a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Parapsychology, and Master’s degrees in Jewish Studies and Metaphysical Science. She has written 23 books on holistic subjects. In the Washington, DC Metro area, Alice teaches Animal Reiki at Montgomery College, has a Reiki practice in Gaithersburg, MD, and is also a wedding officiant.

This lesson is a guided practice for you to experience the Framing technique. Sit back, relax, and get an experiential understanding of how this tool can work for you. Feel free to return to it any time and either replay this track as a guided meditation, or run through the steps on your own. Participating in this lesson will help you learn and remember this tool, so you can use it as often as needed, with or without this audio.

Wow! Perhaps the most effective visualization I’ve done! I struggled a little at first visualing my stress/bad habits (perhaps I was trying to include too much into one frame)…then I physically moved my arms as though I was throwing paint at the canvas. That worked to shift my brain into visualization and it took off from there. I relaxed my arms back down and settled right back into the visualization exercise. Everything then developed easier for me as you described each step of the process. As my frame left my view, my internal peace grew in a mighty way. I believe this will be a go-to tool for me. It gives me what almost feels to be a tangible way to tackle my overwhelm/ worry/ harmful habits and this is easily sustainable. When I have to think of words or phrases to move myself through something, it’s harder for me to land on those in the energy of the overwhelm—but this…THIS frame… I see it right there and I know what to do. Thank you!!!
