We'll begin by coming into a comfortable,

Lying down position in our bed.

Covering yourself with your sheets and blanket.

Feeling your blanket and covers embracing you.

Feeling warm,

Cozy and embraced.

As we prepare for this liminal journey.

Allowing your body to settle in and relax.

Giving yourself permission to let go.

To let go of the day.

Accepting sleep.

Welcoming sleep.

Loving sleep.

Embracing sleep.

This special time just for you.

When you're ready,

Let's gently close the eyes.

Allow your breath to be natural and normal,

However it is.

Allowing the day to fade away.

Making room,

Making space for sleep.

Now,

Let's take three deep breaths together.

A deep inhale and a long extended exhale.

Another deep breath in and a long extended breath out.

Deep breath in and a long slow breath out.

Now,

Just allow your breath to return to its normal,

Natural pace.

However it is.

Just the way it is.

As we relax our body and mind.

We trust.

We welcome.

We thank our brains.

Grateful for what they do for us during the day and how it will help us as we sleep.

Cleansing the brain itself.

Removing everything we don't need.

Everything that accumulates throughout the day.

All will be refreshed.

Allowing you to feel rested,

Fresh and alive when you rise.

The brain organizing the memories from the day.

Balancing the emotions from your experiences today through your dreams.

Dreams are a gift of the mind.

What universe will you create in your dreams?

Dreams the bridge between worlds.

The realm of intuition.

Surrendering to the music.

Deep listening.

Now,

Let's imagine a gentle flowing river.

The river is calm and the river is wide,

Expansive.

The timeless river.

The past,

Present and future.

All here.

The waters are warm,

Gently and slowly flowing.

Imagine placing a leaf into this river.

The leaf,

Calmly and slowly,

Floating down the river.

Now imagine that you are that leaf,

Floating effortlessly.

Feeling the warmth of the water around you.

Supported by the water.

Surrendering your body to the water.

The more you surrender,

The more the water supports you.

As you gracefully float down the river,

Gently winding to the right and to the left.

Relaxed with ease.

Blissfully floating.

Effortless floating.

As you continue to float,

The river comes to merge with the great ocean.

Transitioning to the ocean.

The vast,

Open,

Calm ocean.

As a gentle breeze lifts up the leaf and carries it into the warm sky above.

And you,

As that leaf,

Look down at the world.

You look down at your day,

Seeing your whole day.

Everything you did.

How you felt.

All the people,

The places,

Even the difficult parts.

Now is your time to let it all go.

Grateful for the day.

Trusting that it will all be okay.

Allowing the dream state to pick up where you are leaving off.

The dream state.

That place of endless possibility.

The realm of sublime intuition.

Allowing your mind to assist you in your life.

To bring forth answers.

To bring forth insight.

Trusting.

Allowing.

Embracing.

Finding new paths and possibilities for healing and discovery.

The interconnection of it all.

And from looking down at the world beneath you,

Now we turn to look up at the stars.

Up towards the infinite.

As we drift into sleep.
