Taking a few moments just to welcome yourself into your body.

Making sure you've chosen a comfortable seat.

Feeling supported by your seat,

By the ground.

Looking for that length up through your spine.

Feeling the head rested comfortably at the top of the spine.

Chin slightly tucked so you get that length up through the back of the neck.

And you become aware of your crown and your tail and the energy that runs through the body.

From head to toe.

Relax your awareness into your breath.

Soften your cheeks,

Your eyes,

Your jaw.

Breathe your shoulder blades down the back.

And observe the rise and fall of the breath in your body right now.

Welcome a gentle smile to your lips.

Being aware of the sensations in your body.

Comfortable,

Uncomfortable.

Aware of the contents of your mind.

Busy,

Not busy.

Welcome in this moment of rest.

This moment of slowing right down and coming into stillness.

Releasing the thoughts that are pulling you into the past and pulling you towards the future.

And just settling into this present moment.

Breathe off all of the energies that are pulling you in opposite directions.

And breathe into yourself.

Allowing every exhale to release more and more of the congestion.

The anxiety,

The stuckness.

Letting go of things that you have been unwilling to let go up until this moment.

All of those lists,

Those tasks,

Those demands that you have heaped upon yourself and allowed others to heap upon you.

Rip them up.

Let them go.

There is nowhere to be,

Nothing to do in this moment other than just relaxing.

Sitting into yourself.

Visiting with yourself.

Welcoming yourself home to your internal temple of calm,

Of stillness,

Of peace.

Observe the belly rise as you breathe in and fall as you breathe out.

Release any hard concentration.

Allow softness in.

Softness in the mind,

Softness around the eyes.

Softness in the breath.

Softness down your spine.

Softness in your joints.

Softness through your body.

The gentle,

Soft breath.

Rising and falling.

Ebbing and flowing.

Every exhale,

A release,

A relief,

A kindness to yourself.

Every inhale,

Nourishing,

Loving,

Expanding your awareness into the beauty of who you are.

Into the beauty of your internal world.

Into the beauty of your own inner power.

Your own contentment.

Your own peace.

Breathe.

Rest.

Release the thoughts that crowd the mind.

They're just thoughts.

They'll come around again.

There's no need to hold onto them.

Breathe them out.

Breathe them out.

Breathe them out.

And rest.

Soften.

Relax.

Enjoy the gentle movement of your breath through your body.

Enjoy the sensations of your body releasing.

Relaxing.

Letting go.

Settle into the stillness.

Allow the stillness to reveal sensations,

Emotions,

Whatever there is deep within you.

Revealing your truth,

Your essence,

Your purpose.

Or just calling you deeper into the quiet.

Into the stillness.

Observe with gentleness.

Listen with awareness,

But have no expectations.

Allow the thoughts of the mind to slide away.

Observe the energy within.

Maybe it's calm and settled.

Maybe it's starting to rise and lift and expand.

Make no effort to control anything in this moment.

Just let everything go.

And allow yourself to experience the fullness of this moment.

Letting go.

Letting go.

And don't worry if you get pulled out of this space,

Just breathe that distraction away.

Let it go.

And sink back into your stillness.

Allow that very gentle smile to reappear at the corners of your mouth.

And notice the energy rise within you.

And as you feel it rise,

Maybe the smile broadens.

And start to bring forward thoughts,

Feelings.

Or even just the frequency,

The idea of gratitude.

Of love,

Of appreciation.

Tune in to that feeling,

That sensation,

That frequency.

Breathe it through your body.

Breathe it around your body.

Breathe it into your room.

Allow yourself to remain grounded as your energy rises.

You might get a little lightheaded.

So allow your awareness to drop down to the base of your body.

And anchor yourself,

Drop an anchoring cord down into the earth.

A stream of light or roots from your body,

Just reaching into the earth and feeling her warmth.

Her earthy scent,

Her nourishment,

Her love,

Her care.

Just grounding you,

Holding you,

Supporting you.

Breathe into that and if anything remains within you that you no longer wish to carry.

No burdens,

Any worries,

Any troubles.

Anything that doesn't serve you as you move forward into your day.

Just send that down into that grounding cord and let Mother Earth dissolve it,

Recycle it,

Renew it,

Transmute it.

Let it go.

Breathe it out.

And thank the earth for taking away these burdens and turning them into something more useful.

Thank yourself for taking this time,

Just 20 minutes to reset,

Refuel,

Reconnect with yourself.

And if it feels right to place your hands over your heart space,

You're welcome to do that.

Or wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a loving hug.

Affirming your love for yourself.

Allowing that love to deeply radiate into every cell.

When you are fully loved up with your own essence,

Your own vibration,

Then you're able to share more of your light with the world.

Breathe that light through every single cell in your body and then watch it radiate out to illuminate the room.

And either ending your practice with a little loving affirmation for yourself or an intention to guide you through your day.

And when you have affirmed,

You can seal it with,

And so it is.

And in your own time,

After a few more moments,

Filling your lungs with new fresh prana,

Life force energy.

You can open your eyes.
