Everyone take a seat,

Feel free to close your eyes,

Feel free to lie down if that feels better for you as well and just start to tune into your breath.

Allow your breath to take over and guide you into your body.

Allow yourself to relax and allow your body to soften.

Allow your breath to soften.

Close your eyes and follow the breath gently rising and falling,

Rising and falling.

And then allow your awareness to drop down to the base of your body,

Down to the soles of your feet.

Allow your feet to feel the ground and allow that sense of groundedness to rise up through the soles of your feet.

Let it rise up to your heart space.

And let it sit there as you connect to that heart chakra,

The energy of calm,

Contentment,

Love,

Compassion,

Kindness.

Allow that energy to spread from your heart space into the rest of your body.

And as you focus on your breath and that beautiful calm descending upon you,

Notice where the breath sits right now.

If it's still sitting quite high in the chest,

Allow it to soften and allow it to move down to the abdomen.

Until you get to that space where you feel the belly rising and falling and the chest remaining relatively still.

That allows the body to relax.

Now we're going to bring in a soft silent mantra just in the back of your mind.

We're going to start with the word relax.

Let's gently repeat that to yourself.

Relax,

Relax,

Relax,

Relax.

Feel those words seep into every part of your body,

Every cell,

Every organ,

Every tissue,

Into your energetic body as well.

Until those words and the energy of those words move out of your body and cocoon you in that feeling of deep relaxation.

Relax,

Relax.

I will slowly change that word to release,

Release,

Release any tension that remains in your body.

Release any worries that are filling you up right now.

Let them go.

Release,

Release,

Release.

Let them go.

Observe your breath and your body as your body starts to listen to your words and starts to release that tension.

Releasing the tension not just from the body but from the mind.

Release,

Release,

Release.

We're going to bring in some I am statements.

And again just silently in the back of your mind you can quietly repeat the words after me.

As you breathe in I am safe.

As you breathe out allow those words to spread through your whole body.

Breathing in I am safe and breathe those words through your whole body.

I am safe.

I am well.

I am well.

Feel that statement and breathe it into your whole body.

I am well.

I am love.

I am love.

Breathe that in and spread it through your whole body.

I am love.

I am calm.

I am calm.

I am calm.

Breathe it in.

Feel the words sit into every cell,

Every tissue.

Not just your physical body but your energetic body too.

Feel that calmness fill you up and spill out of you.

I am light.

Allow a beautiful light to fill you up starting at that heart center and radiating out.

I am light.

I am light.

I am light.

I am peace.

I am peace.

I am peace.

Allow that feeling of peace to fill you up.

Feeling the energy now of these words buzzing through your body.

I am peace.

I am light.

I am calm.

I am safe.

I am well.

I am love.

I am peace.

I am love.

Breathe that in.

I want you to bring your awareness to the breath coming in and out of the left nostril.

This is the yin energy,

The calming energy of the moon,

The feminine energy within us all.

Just visualize the breath coming in and out through the left side,

In through the left and let it rise up to that space between the eyebrows and out through the left.

In through the left and out through the left.

And in through the left and this time we're going to send it out through the right.

Getting some of that lovely act of masculine yang energy.

In through the right and out through the left.

In through the left and out through the right.

In through the right and out through the left.

Let's continue when you are in time.

In through the left,

Out through the right,

In through the right,

Out through the left.

Nice slow even steady breaths.

Allowing each breath to take you deeper into yourself,

Into your body.

Allowing each breath to calm and settle your nervous system.

Allowing each breath to take you into that space of deep peace,

Deep rest.

This breath pattern helps to calm the nervous system.

Taking the body out of that fight or flight and moving it into rest and digest and rest and repair.

And then releasing the concentration of that alternate nostril breathing.

Coming back to your heart space.

Sitting with your body,

Sitting with your thoughts,

Sitting with your normal breath.

And drop your awareness down below the heart to the solar plexus.

Visualizing a little flame,

A little light right at the center of your core.

This is your inner pilot light,

Your inner wisdom,

Your own higher guidance.

It's so easy right now to get taken off center and be distracted by all of the news and all of the things and the information,

The fake news and the real news all around us.

Allow yourself to allow all of that stuff to fall away from you,

Peel away,

Shake it off.

Maybe visualize walls crumbling down around you as you allow all of that external stuff to be discarded,

To be shaken off,

To be dusted off,

Blown away.

So you can see the brightness of your own internal guidance,

Your own internal light and you can hear your own internal wisdom speaking to you.

Tune into that wisdom.

Maybe ask yourself right now,

What do I need to know?

Maybe you do have a question that you haven't found an answer to or maybe you just want to talk to yourself and tell yourself how valuable and how loved you are.

Connecting to that inner light and if it is a question put it out there and just sit silently watching the light flicker,

Growing brighter and feeling the breath move through your body.

Maybe an answer has bubbled up immediately,

Maybe not.

Don't discard those first initial thoughts and impulses,

They're usually the right ones.

What do I need to know?

Maybe the answer is absolutely nothing,

You are perfectly right where you are right now.

Maybe it's another question like how can I be of service?

I just notice when you do put those questions there,

The first answer,

The first thought that comes to your mind,

Hear that,

Trust that it's right.

The more you tune into this pilot light,

The more you start to really hone your instincts,

That gut feeling when something's right or when something isn't.

Trust your wisdom more than everything else around you.

And if you've got your answer you can breathe it out,

Release your awareness from that space.

Bring your awareness back to the soles of your feet and allow the soles of your feet to spread roots into the earth right now,

Right down into the ground,

Down into Mother Earth,

Through the warmth and the layers of the earth into the center.

And if there's any more worries,

Concerns,

Anxieties or maybe you're carrying burdens that you no longer need to shoulder,

Pour them out through those roots,

Pour them into the earth,

Mother Earth gratefully and kindly and graciously accepts them and turns them into something new,

Something fresh,

Something useful.

So let it all go,

Let it all out,

Pour it all out,

Breathe it out to the soles of your feet,

Down into the earth,

Breathe it out,

Breathe it out,

Breathe it out until there's nothing more to breathe out,

Until you feel lighter,

More buoyant and feel the energy of those roots sparkling around you,

Feeling this beautiful energy of Mother Earth.

Once more it's the yin energy,

That feminine energy of love and compassion and kindness,

Fierceness if you need it,

Strength if you need it,

Very very grounded.

Draw that energy up through the roots,

Up through your body,

Up to your heart space and then send your awareness up through the crown of your head,

300 feet or more above you until you see sense or feel a source of light,

A big orb of light up there,

This is the yin energy,

Lovely active creative energy of the universe.

Draw that heat,

That warmth,

That sunlight down into the crown of your head,

Let it pour into you like liquid sunlight and allow it to flood your body,

Mixing and mingling with that beautiful cooler yin energy,

Intertwining and joining,

Bringing balance into your body,

Bringing balance into your heart space,

Bringing balance into your energy symptoms,

Bringing balance to you.

Just let here and breathe into that in silence for a while.

You you and breathe it all out now letting everything go and as we have cleared out space in our energy systems in our body we can now fill it up with thoughts of gratitude,

Thoughts of appreciation,

Thoughts of kindness and joy,

Just a little rampage of appreciation through your mind through your life for all of the things that you have,

All of the people,

The experiences,

Fill yourself up with so much gratitude that it has to overflow out of you.

Thinking about all the tiny little things we take for granted as well as all the major things as well as the challenges that change us in ways that help us grow.

And when you feel completely filled up with that sense of deep gratitude and joy you can let that go too and sit into your body into the space and into the silence for a few more moments.

You Bring your hands to your heart,

Crossing them over your heart space,

Embracing yourself,

Sending yourself love,

Sending yourself light,

Connecting to your strength,

Connecting to your kindness and your compassion,

Connecting to your creativity,

Connecting to your wisdom,

And knowing whenever the world gets a little bit too crazy you can find a quiet place,

Sit and breathe and connect to that little pilot light within to find answers that no one else can give you,

Acknowledging how truly amazing you are.

And taking a lovely deep full breath in and exhale,

You can release your hands breathing it all out,

Coming back from your meditation whenever you're ready.
