Hey there,
Welcome to this meditation to help you slow down and savor your precious life.
My name is Wana and it is truly my honor to guide you.
Thank you so much for taking this time to connect with yourself.
For the short duration of our session,
You have full permission to be completely and utterly here.
In this inward journey,
We'll explore the quiet beauty of living fully in the present,
At home in the stillness of who you truly are.
But I don't want to just talk about being here as if it's an intellectual concept,
But rather I'd like for you to fully connect with being here.
And so,
I'd like to invite you to stand right up,
If you aren't already there.
Yep,
Please plant your two feet firmly on the ground.
If that's available to you,
Of course.
If you'd like to sit down,
That's fine too.
Just follow what feels good.
Okay,
So if you are standing,
Do not walk.
Simply stand still and really be where your feet are.
Not floating around in your head,
Thinking,
But rather being right here,
Right now.
To help with this,
Tune into your body and become aware of the physical sensations in and around it.
Feel the weight of your body.
The air around you.
Your clothes brushed against your skin.
The steady beat of your heart.
Perhaps even a tingling sensation in the tips of your fingers.
What aliveness emerges in your awareness?
Any tingles,
Subtle vibrations or moments of radiance?
No need to force anything.
Just be still and know that this moment is enough.
And know that in this moment,
You are enough.
Silently affirm after me,
This moment is enough.
I am enough.
Again,
Repeat after me.
This moment is enough.
I am enough.
This moment is enough.
I am enough.
How does it feel to know that?
To embody that?
Use these next few deep conscious breaths to connect with the support of the ground beneath you.
As life is spinning all around you,
You are planted here.
Rooted here.
Speaking of roots,
Imagine roots digging deep into the earth below you,
Anchoring you to wherever you are.
Be as a tree.
No need to rush ahead or look back.
Just be grounded,
Standing confidently in who you are.
Once again,
Silently affirm to yourself,
This moment is enough.
I am enough.
As you proudly stand in the power of now.
You don't need to go anywhere,
Be anyone,
Or do anything.
Just be.
You've already arrived.
Again,
Boldly declare to yourself,
This moment is enough.
I am enough.
If you'd like to go ahead and take a seat now,
Please do so.
Otherwise,
You can continue standing right where you are.
You may wish to close your eyes for the rest of our session as well.
If it feels safe and comfortable for you to do so,
Okay,
Let's continue.
Bringing your full awareness to your body once more,
Notice how it feels standing or sitting there.
Are there any areas of tension or tightness?
Any places where you can soften?
Even if just a little bit?
With each breath,
Imagine the weight of the world gently lifting off your shoulders,
Leaving only what is right here,
Right now,
This present moment.
Inhale slowly and exhale fully.
Slowly,
Feel the breath moving through you,
Steady and grounding.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly,
Allowing your breath to gently guide you into a calm space where everything feels just as it should.
Beautiful.
Often we think living life to the fullest means chasing after big adventures,
Traveling the whole world,
Living on the edge,
Quitting our jobs,
And falling into risky love.
Sure,
Perhaps those are some ways to lead a fulfilling life,
But they're more fleeting,
Neverlasting.
The truth is,
True fulfillment doesn't need to be so flashy or dramatic,
For true fulfillment is as simple and profound as being fully immersed in wherever your feet are.
True fulfillment comes from making peace with being in your own skin,
Just as you are.
Without the constant need to prove yourself,
Fight endlessly,
Or be on the constant chase for more,
More,
More,
How would it be to live from that place?
To make a home within yourself where you feel safe,
Peaceful,
And at ease?
What would it feel like to nurture yourself with kindness,
To love yourself without needing to prove anything?
Tap into that feeling place now.
How would it be like to live like a young child once more,
Seeing and interacting with the world with eyes of wonder,
Stopping to admire nature's miracles,
A butterfly bouncing by,
A flower in bloom,
The song of a bird,
A soothing rainfall?
Truly I tell you,
Unless you change and become like little children,
You will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
That's a quote taken from the bible.
Whether you're religious or not,
It's all good.
The point is,
The kingdom of heaven,
A joyful existence,
Is all around us,
When we connect to the present the way children do.
I mean,
Do you ever see a baby rushing from one thing to another?
No.
But do you see them reveling in the most mundane of moments,
At home with who they truly are?
Yes,
Quite a lot.
I encourage you to imagine wrapping yourself in a cozy blanket of warmth,
Comfort,
And light.
Settling right into who you are,
Just as you are.
No need to hustle.
No need to try harder.
You are allowed,
You deserve to rest here.
Breathing deeply and peacefully.
Wonderful no?
I hope you come to realize that the depth of life's growth depends on how stable your inner world is.
After all,
The joy we find in the small moments is what opens us to the fullness of the larger ones.
If you can't fully savor what's already in front of you,
How on earth do you think you'll be able to experience the full depth and breadth of more?
Now there's some food for thought.
And with that,
We conclude our little session.
If you'd like more,
Join me on another inward journey tomorrow.
As always,
It has been an absolute pleasure connecting with you.
Please let me know what you thought of this practice,
I always love hearing from you.
And remember,
Life does not need to be a race.
Life is about being fully where you are,
And fully accepting of who you are.
And in that presence,
Everything else will unfold.
So take your time,
And enjoy the now.
It's all we ever really got.
For even when the long-anticipated future gets here,
It's still,
Well,
Now.
You got this.
Blessings to you,
Beautiful self.
