Hi and welcome!

Thank you for joining today.

Let us begin.

Find a comfortable position in which you feel both alert and relaxed.

Ground yourself in your posture.

Close your eyes.

Take a few moments to connect with your breath.

Notice the sensations of breathing,

The rise and fall of your chest.

Think of your breath as your home base.

A place to come back to whenever your thoughts take you somewhere else or you feel lost.

We are not trying to change the way we breathe.

We are just noticing our breathing and following our breath mindfully.

Let's now continue to focus a moment on our emotions and thinking.

What emotions and thoughts are present right now?

We are not analyzing or judging our thoughts and emotions.

Mindfulness and meditation can help us deal with difficult feelings and ground us in the present moment.

It will teach us not to get lost in thoughts and difficult emotions.

Much of our unhappiness lies in not being in peace with our past and our worries about the future.

Notice what emotions are arising.

Be curious without the need to analyze.

It's okay to feel what you feel no matter what it is.

Breathe with your emotions and just acknowledge your feelings.

Then become aware of your thoughts and the stories you are telling yourself.

Ask yourself what really is on your mind,

Acknowledging what you're thinking of.

Breathe with your thoughts without getting engaged.

Breathe out your thoughts and emotions.

Choose B.

Let's now talk a bit about being positive.

Choosing happiness isn't about being positive all the time.

It's about an awareness that all situations,

Even painful and difficult ones,

Are temporary.

And all situations have lessons within them.

We can all do the work to leave the survival mode of unconsciousness,

Fear and worry.

And learn to feel safe in every situation in life.

And learn how to breathe to shift our body and mind into rest.

Everything is constantly changing.

Embrace it.

Keep your heart open to the unknown.

Remind yourself that this is temporary.

No emotions last forever and you will get through this period of your life.

Today you will despite everything choose happiness and be fully present in everything life has to offer on this day.

The more we choose to see the good in who we are and the good in what we experience,

The more we open ourselves up to healing transformation.

Take your attention back to your breath and feel again the sensations of breathing.

Open your eyes gently.

Move your body softly.
