This practice can be used by anyone although it is aimed at those who hold onto more than what is theirs. People who find it hard to stop and slow down. It's a very relaxing and body restful meditation. Deeply letting go and sinking deeper into yourself and your body.

Welcome to this meditation where you will learn to sink deeper into your being,

Deeper into your body and really allow your tired mind and your tired body to rest.

True rest and relaxation.

I invite you to find a space that can be quiet and calm for the duration of this meditation and it is best experienced with headphones.

I also invite you to find a position with your body that feels best for you.

Whether you're using props or supports,

I just invite you to just gently and softly move into a position that feels right for your body regardless of how you've been taught or not taught how to meditate.

In these meditations,

It's really about listening to the body and just letting go.

So when you feel ready,

Like you're in the right position and in the right space,

Just begin to gently close your eyes and bring your awareness into your breath.

And as you bring your awareness into your breath,

I want you just to begin to allow it to go deeper into your body and as it goes deeper into your body,

Your breath will lengthen.

And as your breath lengthens,

Just feel that and feel where the breath goes through the body.

And just continue with this breath cycle for maybe three or four more inhales and exhales.

And then we are going to let go of controlling the breath.

Your body is very wise and it knows how to breathe itself.

And so as you let go of your breath and controlling it,

Just see if you can start to just set the pieces down of your day.

See if you can begin to just let go of this day and see if as you let go of this day,

See if you can let go of yesterday.

And as you set the pieces down of this day and of yesterday,

See if you can also let go of tomorrow.

There is nothing you have to do right now.

There is nothing you have to do right now.

And just see if you can allow your body to just accept that little statement right in this moment.

And just know that even if this feels a little bit hard for you to do to slow down and to truly allow your mind and body to relax,

Just know that I am right here with you and that we can do it together.

Just see if you can just sink in even a little deeper into this idea that right now there is nothing required of you.

Yeah.

Nothing is required of you.

You get to just allow yourself to sink in deeper into you,

To remember what it's like to feel you.

It's okay to stop now.

And just really notice how the body responds to that.

Notice what is happening in your breath and just see what it feels like now to feel the breath move through your body.

Again,

Without controlling it,

For this meditation,

We will allow the body to breathe itself.

Sinking in even deeper.

And as you continue to feel yourself on this deeper level,

Just notice with very little effort what the heart is doing.

Notice what it's like to bring your awareness into the heart center.

And then just notice if you can give the heart a deeper permission to relax and then maybe a little bit of permission to just gently open a little more.

Just noticing what that's like.

And as you just allow it to gently fold or expand open,

Just see what it's like to be in a space of rest and to also know that you can rest and you can be loved.

And that together they can bring a fruitful space.

Opening and deepening into your own body.

Just see what it's like to deepen the permission to relax.

Just see how your whole body responds to that.

Just notice what it's like to be in your body now.

Notice what it's like to feel your body.

Knowing to give yourself permission more and more that it's okay to stop now.

You don't have to do anything right now.

Sinking deeper and deeper,

Relaxing deeper and deeper.

And as you do that,

Just notice if there are any adjustments within your body that want to happen.

Maybe you feel the need to stretch out.

Maybe you feel a desire to place a hand on your heart or on your stomach.

Maybe you wish to curl up in a ball and just hold yourself.

Perhaps you can feel maybe even a gentle sway that would like to move in your body.

Whatever that is for you,

If there is an adjustment,

Just allow it to happen.

Very slowly.

Very gently.

Very soft.

Very soft.

Very soft.

Oh so gentle.

Really taking care of this part of you and really allowing rest.

And then just notice what it's like for me to say to you,

That's enough for now,

Sweetie.

That's enough for now,

Sweetie.

Breathing even deeper into yourself.

Full permission to be still and quiet and that you still have great value within your stillness.

Great value within your stillness.

Relaxing.

Sinking in deeper.

Really noticing what's happening in your body.

Really noticing how your body is responding to this deep permission to relax.

And I'm going to leave you now so that you can enjoy this space as long as you wish.

And I will return again.

I love you.

Bye.

Wonderful. Kind, gentle, compassionate and loving. This made me cry! (That's a Good thing!) You have a lovely soothing voice and I appreciated the slow pacing of your words and unobtrusive background music. Bookmarked and will be returning frequently!! ❤️
