Welcome to this shamanic meditation to the element of Earth within.
Make sure that for the duration of this recording you are not disturbed,
Creating a quiet space for yourself.
So get yourself comfortable either sitting or laying down and enjoy the journey.
Our intention is to connect to your inner landscape for guidance and healing.
Earth mirrors back to you the vibrance of your physical body,
The riches,
The potential,
Our foundation and boundaries.
There is much we can learn from observing the Earth.
We are going to undertake a journey to the element of Earth.
The Earth reflects back to us our physical manifestation as spiritual beings.
She nourishes and offers us all we need to thrive and more.
Think of all the life forms she nurtures,
The diverse landscapes,
Her ability to heal,
To transform and to adapt.
Let's greet the spirit of Earth and ask to be shown what is most important for us to learn today about our inner landscape.
The Earth reflects back to us how we look after ourself,
Our body,
Our home and where we are asked to tend to parts of ourself that we have neglected.
The Earth will reflect back to us where we have not cared for her or ourself,
Parts we are asked to nourish so we can plant new seeds and build a healthy foundation.
I am now going to invite you to open up all your senses and your imagination.
Think of the imagination through the eyes of a child.
Let's start off with offering your gratitude to the spirit of place where you are.
The landscape you are in.
All the seen and unseen energies that support and protect you.
Now take some deep cleansing breaths in.
Place one hand on your heart and connect with your heartbeat.
Allow that connection,
The rhythm to soothe you.
Feel the resonance of truth that resides there in your heart.
This magnificent space of yours is unyielding to that which is not true.
Think of something that feels true to you,
Like your name or the love you have for a beloved,
Or even your favourite food.
How does that feel?
You know this as truth,
So connect to that energy and breathe it in.
And as we do so,
Let's greet the element of air.
Air being the first element to greet you when you were born and took your first breath.
First breath.
Every breath you take in,
You open up,
You relax.
And every out breath,
You release.
Continue breathing in,
Creating space in your chest.
Setting the intention to see with your heart.
Follow the breath.
See it move with ease and grace.
Now open up all your senses as we explore the connection of the element of earth within you.
Imagine that in front of you,
You see a gate.
Sense it.
You may feel it.
Feel it.
Know that it's there.
When you are ready,
You step through the gate into a garden.
Your inner landscape.
This garden is unique to you.
It is sacred.
It is a safe space for you to explore.
So look around and remember to open up all your senses.
Do you feel the wind move through your hair or the warmth of the sun face?
Do you see,
Feel,
Hear around you?
Ask yourself,
What are the right conditions for new seeds or plants to grow,
To thrive?
Inspect the space and if there is anything that you are guided to take action on as you are there,
Then do so.
Are there weeds growing in your garden that might need clearing to create space?
Do you love your garden?
Do you see?
What does the soil feel like beneath your feet?
Look at the texture.
Is your soil fertile and rich?
Is it well nourished?
What do you base your foundations on?
What has your physical energy been like?
Ask to tend to.
What do you need?
The earth offers us to deeply ground ourself.
She holds us.
She is the foundation of our being.
What are your foundations built on?
And how do you care for this?
Are they solid foundations?
Do you feel connected?
Ground.
Do you feel safe?
What do you base your foundations on?
What has your physical energy been like?
Are you asked to create movement?
What do you need?
What do you need?
The earth offers us to deeply ground ourself.
She holds us.
She is the foundation of our being.
Our existence here.
What are your foundations built on?
How do you care for this?
Are they solid?
Or do they need tending to?
Do you feel connected?
Grounded?
Do you feel safe?
Step onto the soil and imagine that you stand there barefoot.
As you take a deep breath in and out.
Imagine that a root comes down from the base of your feet and moves into the earth.
Feel your roots move through the layers of the earth.
Observe what that feels like.
Do you sense the different layers?
Textures?
Temperatures?
Maybe even the deep rivers that run through the earth.
Observe your roots.
Are they thick?
Thin?
Is it one and are there many?
And do you anchor yourself to roots of trees?
Are stones nearby?
You are grounding yourself in the earth's foundations.
This fertile space.
It is in the darkness that new comes into being.
The seeds in the earth.
A baby in the womb.
Your roots might have connected to the roots of trees nearby.
Reminding that you are witnessed,
Loved,
Just as you are.
Now take in the nourishment that is available to you.
That re-energizes you.
That re-energizing quality the earth has to offer you.
Feel the support move through your roots like a nectar.
Absorb this nectar.
It's moving up through the layers of the earth.
Then through your body,
Filling you with comfort.
Deeper sense of grounding and compassion.
Nourishing all your cells,
Your organs and your bones.
Now gently bring your awareness back into your body.
Where you're able to take in the rest of your garden.
The beauty and those parts that you would like to pay more attention to.
So start to tend to your garden.
Create that vibrant space to plant new seeds.
How do you tend to your body?
Your home,
Your foundations.
Do you nourish yourself to your body?
Do you take time?
Be still.
Take that which you are being shown as knowledge to work with.
You may wish to ask if there is a symbol or a blessing the earth wishes to share with you.
This symbol is something you can work with to draw strength from.
This symbol is personal to you.
To empower you or support you in grounding yourself.
As you breathe in and out,
Thank the wisdom shared with you today.
You can come back to connect with your body.
You can come back to connect with your inner garden anytime you want.
For now this journey has come to an end.
So make your way back to the gate.
Step through it and close the gate behind you.
Making your way back fully to the here and the now.
Take some deep cleansing breaths as we thank the element of water,
Air and fire that move through us and especially the earth today.
For all the wisdoms and teachings offered.
Give yourself a squeeze and thank yourself and your body for all that is well and it is done.
