Good morning and welcome to this guided meditation.
As you know,
How you begin your day often sets the tone for how the rest of your day will unfold.
While there may be external circumstances beyond your control,
You can still influence how you start your day by focusing on the three important aspects ā your physical,
Mental and emotional well-being.
So let's take a few moments together to check in with ourselves and begin this day as centered and balanced as possible.
As you follow along with me,
Know that even small positive changes can add up and make a big difference by the end of the day.
As we begin,
Let us take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Allow your eyes to close and make yourself at ease.
Now bring your attention to your physical body.
How does it feel?
Do you notice any areas of tension or discomfort?
Without judgment,
Simply observe these sensations and take another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Next,
Shift your focus to your mental state.
What thoughts or emotions are present for you right now?
Are you feeling anxious or excited about the day ahead?
Again,
Simply notice these thoughts and emotions without judgment.
Finally,
Take a moment to check in with your emotional state.
How are you feeling on a deeper level?
Do you feel calm and centered or perhaps a bit overwhelmed?
Allow yourself to experience these emotions and accept these emotions without resistance.
Now take one more deep breath and set an intention for how you want to approach the day ahead.
Remember that you have the power to influence how you feel and think.
And don't forget,
Just like the song says,
From the little things,
Big things grow.
Throughout the day,
Consider taking a few moments to repeat this check-in process and recenter yourself as needed.
