As you flow through the practice, we incorporate breathwork techniques to expand our awareness and deepen our connection to the universe. With each inhale, we invite in the energy of the cosmos, expanding our consciousness and opening ourselves to the infinite possibilities that surround us. Through the power of our breath, we align with the rhythm of the universe, surrendering to its flow and trusting in its guidance.

Breathwork practice to connect you to the divine.

This practice will include inhales and exhales through the mouth as well as a grounding and opening practice.

So please seat yourself in a comfortable posture or position and on your next breath take a nice deep breath in and exhale completely.

Emptying out the lungs.

Empty,

Empty,

Empty.

And a nice deep breath in through the nose and out of the nose.

Just stay here for a moment watching the breath from the belly.

Noticing the belly expanding and contracting.

And see if you can start adding more pressure to your hips on your inhales.

Breathing deep,

Low,

And slow.

And on your exhales just give your body permission to soften,

Relax,

And open.

If you find areas of tension,

That's okay.

You are safe to feel it.

And that tension is allowed to be there for this moment.

And just allow your body to get heavier and heavier and heavier with every inhale and exhale.

Feeling the body sinking deeper and deeper into the earth.

And let's begin our first round of breathing.

So on your next breath exhale completely.

Empty,

Empty,

Empty,

Empty.

Breathe it in and let it go.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

That's it.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

Keep going.

And breathe it all the way in.

Breathing it in.

Sipping a little bit more air if you can.

Sip,

Sip,

Sip.

Hold it.

Create tension in the body.

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze to the ground.

And let it go.

And just notice what you're feeling,

How you're feeling,

And where you're feeling in this moment.

Can you allow your body to just get a little heavier?

Grounding down.

And now bring all of your attention to your crown chakra.

See if you can imagine,

Visualize light of any color that you would like.

Coming down through the crown,

Entering the body with every inhale.

Expanding and opening with every exhale.

Perfect.

Let's just stay here for a moment.

Feel and sense before we start our next round.

And on your next breath,

Empty the lungs completely.

Empty,

Empty,

Empty.

Breathe it in and let it go.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

That's it.

Breathe it in,

Let it go.

Keep going.

Keep going.

And breathe it all the way in.

Breathing it in.

Sipping a little bit more air if you can.

Sip,

Sip,

Sip.

Hold it.

Create tension in the body.

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze to the crown.

And let it go.

And just relax.

Feeling open,

Grounded,

Centered,

Connected.

Notice the shapes,

Colors,

Textures,

Sizes that you are experiencing now.

What's here now when there is no problem to solve?

You can choose to stay here as long as you would like.

Thank you.

This breathing practice helped me feel calm and centered. Just the right amount of breathing to relax my nervous system. The only thing I wasn’t sure of is breathing through the mouth, you mentioned to do so once in the beginning but I almost missed it. Perhaps a little more detail on that would be helpful. Thank you!
