This meditation will guide you through a grounding and peaceful walk in the forest, through a beautiful field of wildflowers, and end at a stream with a tranquil view of the mountains. A mindful walk in nature can be a powerful way to calm the nervous system and rewire the brain from worry and doubt to peace and joy. Welcome to this guided healing walk in nature.

This meditation will start by grounding to the earth and standing before enjoying a peaceful and healing walk in the forest.

Next we will continue past a beautiful field of wildflowers and end at a stream with a tranquil view of the mountains.

A mindful walk in nature can be a powerful way to calm the nervous system and rewire the brain from worry and doubt to peace and joy.

The experience is the same to our brains,

Whether we experience the walk physically in nature or during a guided imagery session.

Sit in a comfortable position with your feet on the floor and your spine erect but supported,

Or lie down on your back,

Whichever position resonates best with you at this moment.

Close your eyes and take a slow,

Deep breath in your nose and release the breath slowly out your mouth.

Take another deep breath in and sigh out your breath,

Releasing any tension and letting go.

Imagine yourself standing in a wide path in a beautiful forest.

There are tall trees on both sides of you,

With many open spaces and rays of sunlight shining through.

The mix of shade and warm sunshine make it the perfect temperature.

It's a beautiful day.

Take a deep breath in your nose and release it out.

Feel your feet on the ground with the dirt below you.

Feel yourself grounding and connecting to the harmonizing and healing energy of the earth.

The frequency of the earth is just what your body needs at this moment.

Feel the energy coming up to your feet,

Your ankles,

Calves,

Knees,

Up your legs to your hips,

Pelvis,

Abdomen,

Up your trunk to your chest,

Up to your shoulders and down your arms to your neck and throat,

Your mouth,

Nose,

Eyes,

Back of the head,

And top of the head.

This energy is centering and grounding with the optimal frequency to allow your body to heal itself.

Yield a calming energy throughout your whole body.

Now begin walking on the path.

Notice the dirt,

Rocks,

Leaves,

And pine needles under your feet.

Look around and notice the beams of sunshine coming down through the trees.

It looks magical.

Continue walking and notice the varying shades of green from the leaves,

Pine needles,

Moss,

And other plants.

As you walk further,

You notice a large branch from a tree in front of the path ahead.

You walk closer and stand right in front of the large branch.

Notice the patterns and textures in the bark,

Branches,

Leaves,

With a childlike curiosity and wonder.

Notice the beauty and peace in this space.

Touch the tree if you like and feel the texture.

You are connecting with nature.

You walk around the branch and notice an open clearing ahead of you.

Continue walking through the forest towards this open area.

As you step out of the forest,

You feel the warm sun on your body.

Smile and take a deep breath in and enjoy the feeling of the warm sun.

Breathe out and notice the breeze that keeps you the right temperature.

Take a couple deep breaths and enjoy this moment.

The same wide dirt path from the forest continues,

But you are now surrounded by a field of wildflowers.

Notice the colors of the flowers that you see.

As you walk along the path,

Notice how the flowers move and flow together in the wind and how the colors change slightly with the reflection of the sun.

Take a deep breath in and notice what you smell.

In front of you,

Beyond the field,

You notice the beautiful mountains in the distance and a stream at the bottom not too far from where you stand.

You continue walking past the field of wildflowers towards the water's edge.

You feel so relaxed and refreshed in this beautiful place.

The fresh air is so healing.

The ground underneath your feet becomes more rocky as you walk closer to the stream.

You are now at the water's edge and notice two large smooth rocks placed together to resemble a large chair.

You sit down on the rocks as you take in this beautiful scene.

Notice the colors of the mountains.

Varying colors of green near the bottom and transitioning up to purple and blue with white peaks at the top.

You feel so relaxed as you take in this beautiful scene.

Listen to the sound of the water in the stream.

Listen to the birds singing.

Feel the warm sun on your skin.

Take some deep breaths in and out as you enjoy the peace and tranquility of this moment.

Now focus your attention on your breath.

No need to change your breath,

Just notice it.

Feel the temperature of the air going in and out of your nostrils.

Now bring yourself back to the present moment and feel the chair or bed supporting you.

Take a deep breath in and out.
