Channeling inner resilience within.

Resilience is the superpower that allows you to transform any adversity into advantage.

In this practice,

You'll confront resistances whilst building your tolerance and capacity to persevere through life's inevitable challenges.

Whether show up either in friendship groups,

Family,

Work life,

Your own health,

Challenges will arise and this is something to be seen as a benefit to you because you will learn from it.

It's all about how you look at the challenge and you are truly resilient.

So let's settle in to this Channeling the Resilience Within You meditation.

Find a comfortable position seated on the floor or in a chair,

Keeping your spine upright yet relaxed.

Gently allow your eyes to close as you turn your awareness inward.

Take a deep revitalising breath in through your nostrils,

Imagining you are breathing in a rejuvenating life force energy.

Hold it for a second and then exhale out through your mouth with an audible sigh,

Expelling any residual tensions.

As you continue breathing fluidly,

Bring to mind a challenge,

Hardship or health obstacle you've faced or are currently working through.

Don't get caught up in the story details,

Simply allow yourself to feel the sensations this difficulty evokes in your body.

Where do you notice any tightness,

Constriction or tension arising?

Breathe into those areas as you get in touch with the resistance this adversity has triggered within you.

It's natural for struggles to catalyse emotional reactivity like anger,

Sadness,

Fear or hopelessness.

The pain is understandable,

You don't have to fight or reject those feelings.

Now simply become aware of how you've been armouring or contracting against what you've been facing.

On your next inhale,

Breathe into that place of suffering within you and as you exhale,

Consciously soften and allow a subtle release,

Like gently applying a salve.

You are learning to lean into the intense difficulties of life rather than shrinking away from them,

Envisioning them beginning to dissolve and dissipate like clouds,

Parting for sunshine to stream through.

Meeting your challenges with open-hearted presence is what allows you to suffer less and cultivate true,

Unwavering resilience.

The pain can pass through you without resistance when you stop struggling against it.

Breathe that profound realisation fully into your being now.

Anytime you directly face what's difficult with courage and self-acceptance,

It's grip on you weakens.

From this higher perspective,

Call to mind someone who has inspired you with their resilience through tough times,

Maybe facing health issues,

Personal loss or navigating major life changes.

By turning towards the pain and discomfort with compassion,

You slowly undo the knot of resistance from the inside out.

Inhale again into any denseness or blockages within your body and exhale,

Envisioning them beginning to dissolve and dissipate like clouds,

Parting for sunshine to stream through.

As you breathe in,

Draw some of the wisdom and strength of their example into your own field.

You are realising that pain and adversity are inevitable chapters in everyone's story.

You're exercising resilience muscles so you can handle any future challenges with more grace.

Breathe that insight into your bones.

As you inhale,

Affirm silently,

I'm developing the courage to fully feel and process this experience,

I'm developing the courage to fully feel and process this experience.

As you exhale,

Let that intention for healing ripple through your body.

When we stop resisting and meet adversity with radical acceptance,

We open up space for creativity,

Growth and rebirth to naturally arise from the ashes of struggle.

Visualise now a brilliant light pouring in from above,

Softening any remaining resistance and bringing a sense of ease and surrender into your system.

Feel this radiant,

Revitalising light.

Exhale anything no longer,

Serving your highest wellbeing.

Inhale profound love,

Gentleness and compassion for your human journey.

Exhale any lingering judgements,

Fears or depleting beliefs.

You are a perpetual student,

Developing deeper wisdom,

Strength and resilience through the fires of your experience.

Every challenge is an opportunity to alchemise into an ever more enlightened version of yourself.

Take one final inhale,

To absorb the essence of your indomitable inner resilience.

And one final exhale to reinforce your commitment to continually meeting life's ups and downs with grace.

You've strengthened your ability to transmute adversity into advantage.

Whenever you need to catalyse renewal,

Simply come back to this space through conscious breathing.

For now,

Begin to slowly reawaken your senses,

Feeling grounded,

Centred and overflowing with inner fortitude.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Taking this replenished energy into the world with you.

You are becoming more resilient with each practice my friend.

You've taken a profound step in releasing what's been holding you back and reclaiming your inner strength.

Make this a renewable process by repeating the body awareness techniques anytime you need to energetically reset from doubts or setbacks.

This is a great tool to have,

To know that you can really tune into your body and ground yourself in that present moment,

To remind yourself of your resilience.

Tomorrow will be the last day,

Meditation 7,

Living from your highest self.

I look forward to seeing you then.
