Hello and welcome.

This is Nancy Gentil-Boudry,

Awaken with Light.

Today's guided meditation is spawned by my Facebook and social media and blog posts on really taking time for self in this busy world.

If you're feeling depleted,

Feeling like you're in scarcity mode,

Not enough time,

This is simply a disconnect,

A pinched off from the field of infinite potentiality.

We get into this space of lack,

Limitation versus endless supply.

But if we spend time really nurturing our inner world,

And this is a huge lofty asking,

But if you live in awareness,

You're well aware when you get into this mindset of not enough time and almost you can get to the point of resentment for your loved ones,

For your work,

For your friends,

Because it's really you're screaming out,

Your inner world is screaming out for time,

Whether it's in sleep,

In rest,

Or a walk,

Or stillness of just being with yourself with a quiet book.

It's just screaming out for time alone,

Time spent with self.

And this is not a luxury,

This is a necessity.

And your loved ones need to lovingly accept this,

You need to with love and compassion express your needs,

As well as your friends,

Job,

Work.

So today,

I want to indulge ourselves,

I want us to spend time in delicious space of stillness to cultivate our inner world,

And then ask some key questions of what do we need in this moment in time.

And I want you to greet this exercise with openness,

Receptivity,

And a blank slate.

So let's close our eyes,

Gently resting,

Connect to the flow of your breath,

And invite yourself to just be,

You are the master of every thought you think.

So choose that this moment in time,

I'm taking a moment in stillness to really nourish my mind,

My body and my spirit.

You're stopping,

You're resting,

You're replenishing and revitalizing.

Feel the flow of your breath.

Don't alter it,

Just observe it and savor it.

Bring your focused awareness to its flow.

Giving the mind something to do,

You stay focused on its flow and encourage yourself to decompress,

Relax.

Tell the cells lovingly and compassionately,

This is a time of stillness of just being.

Really give it permission,

It walks around pretty pensive and in defensive mode,

That fight or flight.

Take a moment and really talk to your cells and the body,

Your tissues,

Your organs.

You're encouraging your connection now within and around.

Connection within,

Awakening to the connection of the field of infinite potentiality,

The energy of your source.

I want you to imagine now a beautiful,

Brilliant ball of white light above your head.

Call that light down and invite it to enter the top of your head,

Your crown.

Flow through the body,

Imagine it being fed by the flow of your breath as it moves down through your face,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Your heart chakra.

Breathe through the heart there for a moment.

As it comes down into the belly,

Really feel it flow through that region.

Feel through the hips and the legs and as it comes down to the base of your feet,

Let it come out the feet and through all the layers of wherever you're sitting,

What structure,

What building you're able to be out in nature,

Just send it.

Be transmuted in love and light down into Mother Earth,

Gaia.

Feel the rootedness in the base of your feet.

If you'd like,

Draw another ball of light.

Continue this flow and you can awaken your third eye between your eyebrows.

Focus on whatever region you want to,

To fill the body with white energy,

Your connection to source.

I love to say it's like I lose sides and I'm just a big ball of beautiful,

Awakened light.

I have to feel and savor my connection.

Using the power of the breath,

You're breathing it in,

You're exhaling,

Letting go and then rest in this connectiveness and ask yourself,

What does my body,

Mind and spirit need in this present moment?

What parts need more connection?

Be open with love and compassion.

The answers in a blank slate,

Watch what drops in.

They're saying you are your best expert.

You know what you need,

What you crave.

You need to replenish,

Revitalize.

You need.

And rest assured,

When we give this to ourselves,

We feel energized,

More creative,

Content in our life,

Experience more joy and give to our loved ones,

Our co-workers from a filled space.

We no longer feel scarcity,

But abundance.

We no longer experience limitation,

But instead,

Endless supply.

It's vitally important.

In a few minutes,

I'll prompt you to open the eyes,

Set into motion,

The thought,

Your thoughts or vibrations,

They speak to the cells in your body.

You emanate it like a fragrant perfume or pungent odor.

What do you want to send out?

Choose the lens by which you want to see the world before you open the eyes.

A replenished revitalized,

Fully connected to source awakened being,

The spiritual being that you are in human form.

Choose it.

And then when you're ready,

Greet your surroundings with fresh lens,

Fresh perspective.
