Hello and welcome to this meditation.

If you haven't already,

Please find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Adjust your body in any way you need to,

To allow it to settle in for the next few moments.

If it feels right for you,

Close your eyes on the next breath.

Or gently lower your gaze.

Let your attention travel with your breath,

Allowing your body to relax in this moment.

Continue to notice your body relax with each breath you take.

And when it feels right,

Start to imagine yourself standing in a peaceful winter landscape.

Notice the air,

How it's crisp and fresh.

You can see your breath forming small clouds in front of you.

Feel the firm,

Snow-covered ground beneath your feet,

Grounding you.

As you breathe in,

Imagine drawing in the serene energy of the winter scene,

Filling your body with clarity and calmness.

As you breathe out,

Release any remaining stress or tension,

Letting it dissolve into the cold,

Clear air.

Visualize a path made of soft,

Freshly fallen snow,

Leading through the winter landscape.

This path represents your journey towards healing and balance.

Begin to walk along this path,

Feeling the gentle crunch of snow under your feet with each step.

As you walk,

Notice the beauty around you.

The trees are dusted with snow,

Their branches sparkling in the sunlight.

Snowflakes drift lazily from the sky,

And the air is filled with a quiet stillness of winter.

Continue along the path until you come to a cozy cabin nestled among the trees.

Smoke curls from the chimney,

And warm light glows from the windows.

This cabin is a sanctuary just for you,

A place where you can rest and recharge.

Walk up to the cabin and open the door.

Inside the cabin is warm and inviting.

A crackling fire burns in the fireplace,

Casting a soft,

Flickering light.

There's a comfortable armchair with a thick,

Warm blanket draped over it.

Take a moment to settle into the chair,

Wrapping the blanket around you and feeling the warmth seep into your body.

As you relax in the chair,

Imagine a gentle golden light surrounding you.

It begins to flow into your body,

Starting at your head and moving down through your neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Chest,

And back.

It continues down through your stomach,

Hips,

Legs,

And feet,

Filling you with warmth and comfort.

Visualize the golden light dissolving any feelings of burnout,

Stress,

Or overwhelm.

See these feelings as dark clouds that are gently dispersed by the light,

Transforming into wisps of vapor that drift away.

Allow yourself to feel lighter and more at ease with each breath.

As you continue to soak in this golden light,

Observe it intensify and amplify feelings of strength and capability.

Let this energy fill you,

Reminding you of your resilience and inner resources.

You may even affirm to yourself on the next breath,

I am capable and resilient.

I am worthy of rest and self-care.

I release stress and embrace calmness.

I trust in my ability to find balance.

I am recharged and ready to settle in.

Take a few more moments to soak in this peaceful energy.

Remember that the sanctuary is always available to you.

You can always return whenever you need to rest and reconnect with you.

When you are ready,

Slowly bring yourself back to the present moment,

Taking this sense of renewal with you into the rest of your day.

Thank you for your practice.
