The Way Of Meditation - Simply Be
Meditation is perhaps the most powerful tool there is when it comes to calling forth the peace, love, joy, harmony, abundance, and wholeness that is inherent within each of us. As such, I have been guided to create this The way of Meditation Series. Each ”session” will begin with a brief teaching around meditation followed by a meditation sitting. I invite you to join me for a beautiful, healing, soothing and empowering moment of becoming still through meditation. Namaste Daniel

Blessings and welcome to the way of meditation.
My name is Daniel Roqueillo and as always I'm deeply grateful to have you join me,
That I get to share this moment with you.
This moment of coming back to the nowness of this moment.
This moment of becoming still and turning within,
Turning away from the world,
Turning away from fear,
Turning away from worry,
Turning away from obsessions,
Turning away from the intensity and the speed and the hustle and bustle of the world.
Before we move into the meditation,
I just want to give a moment to exploring something that came up a while ago.
That when we are in meditation,
We are to simply be,
Simply be.
And what this means is that when I first began to meditate,
This was very prominent and as the years went by,
It's been dissolving and dissolving and dissolving more and more and more.
And now it's quite rarely that I experience this,
But from time to time I do experience it.
And what I'm speaking to and what I'm referring to is our tendencies sometimes to in meditation to sort of just want to get it over with.
I remember initially,
And I still do this,
I would use a timer to know or to time the meditation.
I would set the timer on,
I believe it was 20 minutes or so,
15 minutes,
20 minutes.
Now I use 30 minutes.
And as I went into the meditation,
Quite often I'd catch myself just wishing for that darn timer to go off so that I can get on with my life.
And even though it is not as articulated now,
From time to time,
I do still catch myself in a state of impatience.
Because perhaps I have something that I feel I need to do and the thoughts come into my mind that me sitting in meditation is getting in the way of that which I need to do.
And so if I could just get this over with,
I could get on with that which I perceive to be more important.
And so as this comes up,
And this quote sort of relates to a previous meditation session which was about embracing and allowing whatever comes up to come up.
So this goes for this as well,
That whenever we have,
Whatever comes up,
Whatever thought forms,
Whatever experiences,
Whatever emotions,
Whatever physical sensations,
Ours to do is to simply be with it.
We don't need to do anything about it.
We don't need to judge it.
We don't need to seek to push it away or repress it.
We don't need to seek to deal with it.
We don't need to participate in it.
We get to simply,
And that is,
This is the practice of meditation.
This is the meditation to simply be with that which is,
Allowing it to be,
Being present with it,
Allowing it to be.
And as we embrace and allow,
As we become aware,
As we embrace and allow,
It begins to dissolve.
And so that would be the theme for this meditation,
That whatever comes up,
Whatever bubbles to the surface for you during this meditation that we are about to enter into,
It is my invitation that you simply be with it.
You simply let it be,
That you simply be.
All right?
So in this moment,
I invite you to make yourself comfortable.
I invite you to close your eyes,
Put a smile on your face.
Even if you don't feel that you have much to smile about,
It is my invitation that you do smile anyway because the body doesn't know whether you're faking that smile or whether you're actually meaning the smile.
Regardless,
When you smile,
The muscles in your face sort of inspires the body to relax,
To take on the feeling tone that all is well,
And to begin to distribute and produce,
Produce and distribute these healing and tonic chemicals that are so beautifully good for the body and for the mind and for the soul.
So smile.
And as we smile,
I invite us to close our eyes.
I invite us to gently tap between our eyebrows to activate that first eye,
The divine eye.
I invite us to,
While we tap and while we smile,
To set the intention for this meditation.
And my intentions are always to wake up to what I am and to allow for greater and greater expressions of that who want to emerge.
And so you're invited to join me in these,
Or if you feel inspired or compelled to catch your own intentions,
You're free to do so.
So we can release the tapping.
Invite us to put our palms,
Our hands in our knees,
Palms facing upward,
Thumb and middle finger touching as a sign of receptivity.
Invite us to turn our attention toward our breath.
And as always,
We want to be aware that the body is fully capable and able of doing the breathing by itself.
So ours to do is to merely observe,
Surrender to the breath as it happens.
We want to also be aware that the full breath has four stages to it.
The in-breath,
The space in between in and out-breath,
The out-breath,
The space in between out-breath and in-breath.
We want to seek to keep our attention on that full circle of breath on all four stages,
Which allows us to sustain our attention on the breath.
And so I invite you to take on the feeling tone that all is well and give the peace that follows the permission to move you so deep,
So deep,
So deep into the stillness and into the silence.
We meet.
You You You You You You You you You back to the breath and begin again You You You you you Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.
Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.
As I in a brief moment move us into prayer,
I invite you to remain with your eyes closed,
Remain comfortable,
Remain open,
Available,
Receptive.
They may catch the vibration of the prayer and give it permission to move you into an even higher vibration,
An even higher frequency,
And to an even more expanded consciousness.
And so in this moment,
In this beautiful,
Magnificent,
Wonderful,
Healing moment,
Healing moment,
Healing moment,
I am so grateful.
I'm so grateful that I get to participate in this.
I'm so grateful that I get to share this with you.
I'm so grateful that I get to co-create this with you.
From this space of gratitude,
I know and I feel all this and the goodness and the eternality of spirit.
I know and I feel that right where we are.
All of that which God is is fully present.
All of the love,
All of the peace,
All of the joy,
All of the harmony,
All of the abundance,
All of the wholeness,
All of the stillness,
All of the bliss,
All of the excellence,
Beauty,
Intelligence,
Creativity.
All of it.
All of it is fully present right where you are,
Right where I am.
Because God never holds anything back.
The spirit never contradicts itself or diminishes itself.
It doesn't ever divide itself into parts.
So what this means is that wherever God is,
All of that which God is is fully present.
And as God is all there is,
Omnipresent,
Infinite,
Eternal,
The fullness of God is everywhere.
Right where you are,
Right where you are,
In every single moment,
Every single day.
All of that which God is is fully present.
And everything that has up until this moment,
Blocked or shaded,
Hindered or obstructed that fullness from expressing itself,
From revealing itself,
Is now in this very moment dissolving.
It is falling away.
It is being released.
It is being let go of.
Like a lampshade that is put to dim the light of the light bulb.
So these small and limited stories have been dimming the light of God from expressing himself in essence through you.
But now that lampshade is being removed.
It has been removed.
And what is left is the luminous light of God.
It's the wholeness of God.
The abundance of spirit.
The unadulterated love of God.
That is all that is left and that is all that is expressing itself in essence through you.
That is all that is demonstrating itself into your experience,
Manifesting itself into your life.
In this moment and from this moment on.
Right where you are,
Something wonderful is happening.
Because your life is not yours but it is truly the life of spirit.
Living itself.
Expressing itself.
Demonstrating itself.
Manifesting itself in essence through you.
So something truly wonderful is happening right where you are.
Where all of the areas in your life are concerned.
Everything is working for the highest good for you and for all of creation.
Because God is eternally seeking to come into ever greater and grander expressions of itself.
Of the love that it is and all of that it is.
In essence through you and in essence through each and every single being.
Each and every single object.
Each and every single space and place.
So my God and by God.
What a blessing you are.
What a blessed life you have.
What a blessed existence you have.
I'm grateful for you.
I'm so deeply grateful for you.
For your divine luminosity.
For your divine wholeness.
For your divine abundance.
For your divine love.
Divine creativity.
I'm so grateful for you.
I bless it all.
I bless it all.
I bless it all.
All this I know.
All this I feel.
All this I accept.
All this I'm grateful for.
All this I allow to be.
So it is.
So be it.
So shall it be.
So be it.
So shall it be.
Amen.
Amen.
Ase.
Aho.
Oteb.
Shalom.
Salaam.
Hallelujah.
