This meditation, Reset, is intended to help you reset your nervous system to a calm, peaceful, receptive, and creative state of parasympathetic functioning through simple focused, breathwork that works fast and effectively. By resetting your nervous system, you exit the sympathetic fight or flight response and enter a normal rest, digest, repair, and regenerate mode of functioning. This allows your body to truly relax and heal, your mind to become more quiet and creative, and you enter a natural state of ease and flow. When you reset your nervous system, you become re-attuned to your natural, relaxed state of being. You empower yourself to feel more grounded, present, and aware and to become inspired, creative, highly effective, and efficient in everything you be and do.

Reset Guided Meditation This guided meditation,

Reset,

Is intended to help you reset your nervous system to a calm,

Peaceful,

Receptive and creative state of parasympathetic functioning through simple,

Focused breathwork that works fast and effectively.

By resetting your nervous system,

You exit the sympathetic fight-or-flight response and enter a normal rest,

Digest,

Repair and regenerate mode of functioning.

This allows your body to truly relax and heal,

Your mind to become more quiet and creative,

And you enter a natural state of ease and flow.

When you reset your nervous system,

You become reattuned to your natural,

Relaxed state of being,

And you empower yourself to feel more grounded,

Present and aware,

And to become inspired,

Creative and highly effective and efficient in everything you be and do.

This technique is also a great tool to use to interrupt any patterns of thoughts,

Emotions,

Actions and behaviors that you feel to be interrupting your flow of life and creativity.

So let's step into this creative space together and move from busy doing to peaceful being.

In this space,

All answers to your most challenging questions are easily answered and you enter the state of flow.

If you'll begin by finding a comfortable place where you can either sit or lie down and just relax.

Relaxing your body,

Beginning with your facial and neck muscles,

So soft,

So relaxed,

Your eyes resting peacefully in their sockets as you gently close them and they surrender to the gravitational pull,

Feeling your eyes become more relaxed and still.

Now gently releasing all the air out of your lungs so that your next inhale is slow and deep at the same time.

Slow,

Gentle breathing to accompany full muscular relaxation,

Opening and unwinding tension,

Stress,

Constriction and contraction through your intention,

Awareness and your breath.

And as you continue to relax your body more and more,

Moving down from your head and now relaxing your shoulders and chest,

Allowing your breath to become smoother,

Deeper and ever more peaceful,

Your chest so soft and relaxed as if floating in space,

Feeling your chest opening and expanding more and more as you relax deeper and deeper.

And now,

Feeling your entire back completely relaxing from top to bottom through your loving intention and awareness,

Your back feeling completely relaxed and supported,

Providing you with a deep sense of nourishment and support that allows you to let go more and more.

And as you surrender more deeply,

Feel your belly relaxing,

Softening and your breath becoming more easeful,

In flow with the deepest state of relaxation that you're intending and choosing in this moment.

Feel yourself completely enveloped by this gentle,

Loving,

Nurturing and soothing energy that you are choosing when you choose to relax and let go.

And becoming aware of a deep sense of relaxation that continues to fill your entire body,

From the top of your head all the way down to your fingertips and the tips of your toes,

Becoming deeper and deeper relaxed as you continue to gently focus in this way,

And feeling your body as if floating in space,

Being aware of the space that your body occupies in space,

Peacefully aware of the space within and all around your body,

In the emptiness of space,

A deeply nurturing and quiet space that's also filled with infinite potentials,

Where you can rest your mind and let go of any thoughts as they spontaneously arise,

Allowing for the content of your subconscious mind and any preoccupation that comes up to express and release in its own timing,

In your own timing,

As it feels comfortable to let it,

Allowing,

Unwinding,

Unwounding and freeing yourself from any pain,

In whichever form you may experience it,

Be it physical,

Mental,

Emotional,

Energetic or even spiritual,

Letting it all come and go,

Rise and fall,

Like the waves,

With the breath,

Your breath,

Holding you in this space of unwinding,

Opening and nourishment,

So that you may heal all wounds,

Big and small,

And anything that may be weighing on your heart,

Your beautiful heart that only seeks to express and experience love,

Breathing into the space of your body and the space all around your body,

Close and far,

Just breathing and being,

Breathing in relaxation and nurturing energy,

Breathing out stress and any harshness,

Breathing in love and nourishment,

Coming to heal your body and to soothe your emotions,

Breathing out pain,

Discomfort and anything that no longer serves you,

To make space for more pleasant and enjoyable sensations and experiences.

Now,

As you continue to move deeper and deeper into the stillness and silence of your own being,

Into healing,

Rest,

Repair and regeneration,

Become aware of the subtle energy movements and currents within you,

Paying attention to the quality of your energy in this moment in time and what it feels like deep within you,

When you quiet your mind and listen within,

Noticing if you are feeling relaxed and the quality of your relaxation right now,

Can you hear the silence,

Can you feel the peace,

Becoming aware of your nervous system as it is and whether it is settled and intending through your intention and self-awareness to deepen your relaxation even more and to let your nerves relax more and more and more until you feel so very relaxed,

All of your muscles so soft,

So relaxed,

From head to fingers and toes and the fascia all around your muscles,

Also releasing their hold and relaxing,

Letting go of deeply entrenched patterns throughout your entire body as to experience the deepest levels of relaxation and well-being,

Choosing this relaxation simply because you want to,

Because you're connected to how good it is for you to relax this deeply and also realizing that you deserve this kind of peace and quiet from within,

Now wherever you are on this relaxation journey,

Knowing that you can always go deeper and deeper,

Let's practice together going deeper into rest and digest,

The repair and regeneration state that comes with parasympathetic functioning,

Playfully curious about bringing about this deeply healing and creative state in your being,

Choosing to explore the realm of what's possible when you change your vibration,

Your frequency through deep deep relaxation and autonomic parasympathetic activation,

Learning to reset your own nervous system in order to return to your natural state of balance,

Ease and flow,

Choosing that,

Lovingly exhaling all the air out of your mouth and then taking your first inhale through your nose immediately followed by a shorter inhale once again through your nose as if you had the sniffles and then sighing as you forcibly exhale all the air out through your mouth and again repeating the same breathing pattern,

Taking a first slightly longer inhale through your nose followed by an immediate and shorter inhale again through your nose as if sniffling and taking a long and strong sigh through your mouth as you release all the air out of your lungs,

Now if you'd like you can repeat this breathing pattern one more time,

Inhaling through your nose,

A more extended breath immediately followed by a shorter sniffle through your nose at the top of your inhale and then letting everything go with a long sigh through your mouth and now coming back to regular breathing and simply observing what you observe after practicing this breath,

Paying attention to the deeper movements and currents of energy within you,

What you become aware of as you quiet your mind and listen deep within,

Noticing the quality of your energy and of your nervous system right now,

Are you feeling more relaxed,

What is happening inside of you,

Deep within,

Notice,

Can you perceive being in the relaxation response,

Are you attuned to your parasympathetic nervous system and its slower pace and rhythm,

Simply pay attention to what you notice and feel what it feels like to move away from fight,

Flight or freeze and to move into deeper relaxation and if you wish or if it comes to you naturally,

Take a couple of yawns,

Opening your mouth wide,

Stretching your facial muscles and creating space and expansion in the space of your face,

Allowing whatever hadn't cleared through those two or three initial breaths to move through and out to reset you to your natural state of being as you yawn and let old energies,

Feelings and emotions flow and continuing this natural spontaneous yawning until you feel a shift,

Yawning just like you may have seen animals yawn when they come out of a nap,

Letting go of what's been causing you to feel contracted,

Tense or limited,

Physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally or even spiritually,

Let the energy flow naturally,

Let yourself feel and be free and feel into the relaxation response,

Even shaking your body side to side,

Gently shaking your arms and your legs,

Your head yes and no,

Clearing anything that may feel stuck or immovable,

Let it go,

Shake it out,

Let it flow,

Let yourself flow and feel a new sense of peace and serenity as well as expansion coming from deep within as you liberate old energies,

Feel yourself alive and more free and let yourself breathe freely with ease and flow,

Expanding into your body,

Into the space that your body occupies and the space all around your body in space as if floating in this space of deep presence and peace,

Stillness and silence from within,

This beautiful organic creative space that you've imagined and that has become you as a result of your imagination,

Your mind giving birth to it on the physical level,

This beautiful organic creative space that you are and that can think of anything,

Feel anything,

Experience anything and be anything you choose and so what do you choose to think,

To feel,

To experience and to be right now as you stand still at the core of your being and of all potentials,

Ready to manifest,

Journeying into the future that you're creating right now,

How do you choose to use your imagination,

Who do you choose to become in this moment and the next and the next,

What energies and qualities do you choose to embody,

Feel into all of that in this expanded open space filled with possibilities,

Feel all the way down to your nervous system,

Explore it,

Your potential,

The signaling of your genes,

Proteins and cells into their highest potential,

The highest version of your individual genetic expression,

The collective human potential expressed within you,

Feel the greatest version of you activating through your intention,

Focus and nurturing,

Constantly reinventing yourself and refining the human potential through you,

Who do you choose to be,

What do you choose to create as you tune into your highest potential in the relaxation response,

Feeling the vibrations of your future coursing through your whole body,

Moving into the future as the future moves through you,

Your nervous system,

Genes and cells activated by the future that you are calling to yourself in this moment,

Realizing that all of your goals and intentions are already achieved as you embody the future in your body right now and simply become a witness to it and let the future come to you with ease and flow,

Stepping out of doing and into being,

Present to yourself right now,

Opening your heart to yourself and to your future as to unlock your full potential in awe and gratitude of every experience you are calling to yourself and feeling a deep sense of inspiration and well-being for all that's to come and all that you're activating within your mind,

Your body,

Your biology,

Your hormones and your emotions through your spirit and your capacity to envision a new state of being and feeling that truly nourishes,

Nurtures and fulfills you,

All parts of you,

Be that future embodying that new state of being and feeling now,

Today,

In the present,

In the past,

In the future,

Always and forever and as you embrace this new you,

When you are ready,

You can gently and lovingly open your eyes.
