Transcript

Welcome to a three-minute breath awareness meditation.

Now taking a few moments to be still and congratulate yourself for taking some time for meditation practice.

Bringing awareness to your breath wherever you feel it most prominently in your body.

It may be at your nose,

Neck,

Chest,

Belly,

Or somewhere else.

As you breathe in normally and naturally,

Be aware of breathing in.

And,

As you breathe out,

Be aware of breathing out.

Simply maintaining this awareness of the breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Just being mindful of breathing in and out.

Without judgment,

Simply watching your breath ebb and flow like the waves in the sea.

There is nothing to do or achieve here.

Just be in the here and now noticing the breath,

One inhalation and exhalation at a time.

Your attention may wander from the breath,

And when you notice this,

Simply acknowledging where your mind went,

And then gently bringing attention back to the breath.

In a few moments,

The bell will ring to conclude this session.

So as we come to the end of this meditation,

Please congratulate yourself for taking this time to be present,

And realizing this is an act of love.

May you be at peace,

And may all beings be well.
