Take a deep breath into your pelvis and exhale.
Keep deepening your breaths.
Begin to feel that you are fully embodied in your pelvis,
Paying specific attention to your tailbone.
Allow your breath to get deeper as you feel yourself inhabiting the whole lower part of your body.
Feel the sensation of your hips resting on your chair or on the floor.
Feel the sensation of the bottoms of your feet touching the ground.
Keep deepening those breaths and allowing your breath to help you access the lower parts of your body,
Your feet,
Your ankles,
Your knees,
Your legs,
Your pelvis,
Your hips,
And your tailbone.
And rather than just being aware of those parts of your body,
I want you to feel like you fully inhabit your body.
And I want you to imagine that you're walking along to your favorite place in nature.
I want you to feel what you love about this space.
Feel the dirt underneath your feet.
If there's grass or leaves,
Feel them crunching between your toes.
And then I want you to look around and find your favorite tree.
Once you find that tree,
You can go and put your hands up to it,
And you can stand and rest on it,
Or you can sit at the base of the tree,
Whichever feels most comfortable to you.
Wherever you are,
I want you to imagine the roots that the tree lays beneath the earth.
As you sit or stand by the tree,
I want you to feel just how powerful that tree is to send its roots all the way down past the dirt,
Past the bedrock,
Deep into the earth.
And I want you to feel that just like the tree,
You have energy that extends from your tailbone.
Imagine a big ball of energy sitting at your pelvis and your tailbone,
Reaching down through your legs,
Down past your feet,
Extending as your own roots through the dirt,
Through the leaves,
Past all of the worms,
All the little creatures in the ground,
Down past the bedrock,
And deep,
Deep,
Deep into the earth.
So imagine that the roots of the tree and your energy is extending deep,
Deep,
Deep into the earth until you connect with the core of the earth.
Once you make that connection,
Feel the warmth,
The massiveness of that ball of energy that is the core of the earth.
This is her life center.
And you can tap into this energy and this power whenever you need.
She's here to provide for you,
So I want you to ask that you receive anything that you need,
Nothing more,
Nothing less,
From the earth at this time.
And as you say that,
I want you to imagine that her energy is coming up through your energy center,
Past the balls of your feet,
Up through your legs,
And into your pelvis,
Giving life and energy to the whole of your body.
Take your time with this receiving.
And just as you can receive this energy,
You can also send her anything that's no longer serving you because that's exactly what she does.
She takes all of this old and stale and stagnant energy,
Anything that's no longer useful for her life,
And she transforms that into new life.
So now I want you to ask or say,
I release anything that's no longer serving me down into the earth.
And I want you to imagine anything that's residing in your body,
Any of the pain,
The stagnant energy,
Anything that's not serving you,
Is now draining past your tailbone,
Down through your legs,
Out the bottoms of your feet,
Down into the core of the earth.
And she happily receives.
Then you feel complete,
And you can give her some thanks,
Some gratitude.
Then I want you to come up,
Imagine yourself again by this tree,
Giving thanks to the tree for holding space for you.
And then keeping that rooted connection,
I want you to continue walking along your path,
Back to where you are in your room or in your space,
Taking another deep breath into your body,
And exhaling,
And slowly opening your eyes.
