Hello,

This is Carrie Logan in Empowered Within.

And find that nice peaceful place where you can sit back or lie back.

When you're ready you can close your eyes.

And let your attention come into the body.

Let awareness come to the level of sensation within the body.

Connect and feel the physical sensations of being in a body.

The sensations of the buttocks on the chair or on a pillow.

The sensations of the pull of gravity.

The sensations of the chest moving the breath.

The sensations in the neck.

In the weight of your head.

Feel this body.

You sit in or lie within.

Then gradually allow your attention to come to your belly.

As you begin to soften the belly.

Making room for the breath in the belly.

Breathing in belly rises.

Breathing out belly falls.

Soften to receive the breath down into the belly.

Allow the breath to breathe itself in soft belly.

Each breath softening.

Opening.

Releasing.

Releasing any anxiety.

Softening to love.

Opening up to healing.

Inhaling as the belly rises.

Felling with softness.

And exhaling belly falling.

Releasing any holding.

Expanding and contracting belly.

Your soft belly.

Your open belly.

The breath breathing itself in softness.

Letting go in the belly.

Letting go our attachments in the belly.

Letting go the walls and the barriers within the belly.

Filling you with levels and layers of softness.

Warmth.

Relaxation.

And at times so much grief can be held in the belly.

So much fear,

Disappointment and anger held in the belly.

So much armoring.

Let it all float in soft belly.

Let it all dissolve and liquefy in soft belly.

No longer hardening to the suffering.

Just letting it be in mercy in soft belly.

You notice how every single thought can tense the belly hard into its armoring to separation,

To grief.

And then letting go with each inhalation.

Softening your belly.

Letting go with each exhalation.

Making space.

Each exhalation.

Breathing out the pain.

Breathing out the disappointment.

Letting it go.

Soft belly.

Merciful belly.

Levels and layers of softening.

Levels and layers of letting go.

So much room for liberation.

So much room to be in soft belly.

As you have mercy on you.

Each breath softening.

Softening the belly to uncover the heart.

Letting go and the belly of the old holding which blocks the heart.

Each exhalation.

Breathing out the hardness.

Waiting for your life in soft belly.

Expectation,

Judgment,

Doubt.

Old griefs congregate in soft belly.

Pain,

Fears and doubts dissolving.

Dissolving into the softness.

The spaciousness of a merciful belly.

Let it all float in soft belly.

Levels and layers of softening.

Meeting the moment.

Levels and layers of being in soft belly.

Even if hardness is discovered in the midst of the increasing softness.

Just watch it float through.

Let the hardness float and dissolve in the softness.

Nothing to change.

No urgency in soft belly.

Let any urgency float in the softness.

Let the sound of these words pass right through you.

Don't hold anything back.

Trust the process.

Let all that arises pass through.

Drift through the spaciousness of soft belly.

Feeling a sense of deep relaxation.

And relief in soft belly.

And then when you're ready,

You can let your eyes gently open.

And as the eyes open,

Notice at what point the belly tightened once again.

At one point,

The someoneness asserts itself.

And you feel a need to protect.

And at what point does the armoring reestablish its long presence.

Softening with the eyes wide open to the world.

Softening to the pain we all share.

And the legacy of healing exposed in the deepening softness.

And so when you're ready,

You can begin again with your day.

Viewing the world with the eyes of softness.

Viewing the people you encounter with the eyes of softness.

Remembering to breathe deep within the soft belly.

And making peace with yourself and the world.

And we are complete.

Very soothing and helped me relax differently than I have been able to using other techniques.

Kerie Logan's recordings work well for my brain. A good combo of dreamy talk and images along with music and nature sounds makes this irresistibly relaxing for me.
