Welcome to this guided meditation to support and soothe your nervous system and let go of any stress or tension in your body.

Find a comfortable position whether sitting or lying down and close your eyes.

Let's start by tuning into the breath.

Take a slow deep breath in feeling the air fill up your belly.

Slowly let the breath out through your nose.

Again breathe that nourishing air in through your nose,

Feel your belly rise and slowly letting that breath out.

As you breathe in once again hold the breath for a few seconds and breathe out to the sound again breathing in pause and out.

Let go of that whole feeling the sound vibrate through your head,

Face,

Throat and chest.

Breathe in pause and out.

Now let go of any control of your breath as you move through this meditation.

We live in a society that is fast paced,

We have information at the tip of our fingers and it can be challenging to find moments to slow down,

To nurture and to nourish our nervous system,

Mind,

Body and soul.

This is your time for you to just be,

To let go of any stress,

Control,

Worry,

Responsibility.

You are in this moment and as any thoughts arise allow them to float past like fluffy white clouds.

Hello thought,

Nice of you to show up and off you go.

What feels good to be in this moment?

Notice any tension that you may feel in your body,

Perhaps in your shoulders,

Neck,

Jaw,

Forehead,

Stomach or legs.

As you take your next breath in imagine a white light moving to those areas of tension and allow that space to soften,

The tension to melt away and again breathing in that white light and moving it to any tense muscles in your body,

Softening and melting away that tension as you breathe out.

Your body is feeling more and more relaxed,

Your mind is feeling more and more free.

Enjoy this feeling for a few moments now.

Now bring your awareness back to the room and your surroundings.

Notice any sounds or smells around you and when you are ready give your toes and fingers a gentle wriggle.

Gently open your eyes,

How do you feel now?

Carry this calm,

Peaceful feeling with you as you go about your day and know that you can come back to this space at any time.
