We are wired to connect, also referred to as interpersonal neurobiology. When we feel an empathic connection brain, our brain waves synchronize. The more we synchronize, the more we feel safe. The more we feel a connection. Also, a connection to others as we are being here to love and be loved, to feel that connection. It allows us to develop a connection to ourselves, aligning to spirit, to our own heart, to our own capacity to feel positive emotions, our higher self, our intuition, and our gut feeling.

Good day.

It's nice to see you.

We are going to begin our meditation.

Please find a comfortable seat that you can commit to.

Finding either a chair or a cushion or you can also lie down.

It's really nice to connect with you each day and I wanted to speak today about how we are wired to connect to one another and how we're wired to connect to ourselves and how many of us,

Most of us,

I would say all of us,

Have had some type of experiences in our life that were painful.

Also called trauma but it can also be just not serious events but relationships that we had in our childhood where we weren't attuned to.

So instead of feeling that sense of not being loved,

We preferred as children to take it on as our responsibility and we disconnect from our gut feelings from our intuition.

So as I said before,

We are wired to connect to one another.

We have this empathic.

.

.

When we connect empathically to one another,

When we are present with one another,

Our brains synchronize.

It's called interpersonal neurobiology.

When we are listened to and when we are heard and when we are seen,

We synchronize and I'm sure you have that experience in your life of really not even knowing someone that well but deeply connecting with them because you looked into their eyes and you felt seen and heard.

You felt that compassionate presence.

So today I would like to speak with you on how powerful it is that connection with one another but also how we may have lost that connection to our gut feelings.

So you know when something touches your gut.

You know sometimes in your life maybe you were in a situation and you felt that something was wrong but you didn't act on it.

So who can agree with me and realize later if I would have listened to my gut feelings that told me something was wrong,

I really would have you know I would have known.

And also the intuition is that deep sense of knowing.

It's not going through your mind.

It's not articulating with your thoughts but it's knowing in your heart and knowing because it's something really deeply you feel within you.

It doesn't align to you.

So just to recap that we are wired to connect,

That we are wired to stay connected to ourselves.

We are made to be connected but as a child if we live through difficult experiences it was easier to disconnect from ourselves than to live the pain.

So when we sit like this in stillness it is to find a sense of calm and peace but sometimes to get through that to align first we have to acknowledge this disconnection and we all have this in certain areas of our lives.

We all have these blind spots and moments that we disconnected and now you can slowly and very in a very subtle way retrieve those parts of you.

So please close your eyes and as I would also like to encourage you I will be adding more space during the meditation so that you can navigate within your own minds and your own hearts and your own bodies without me speaking.

So just know that I'm here but I would like for you to discover and to dive deeper within yourselves to see how your practice is going.

So remembering that we always have our breath to stay aligned to and if it's easier for you you can meditate this whole time just on your breath and when I ask questions and we go deeper with self-inquiry you can begin asking the questions but if you find your mind is too hectic or chaotic as it some days is just stay on your breath.

So let's breathe together three deep breaths inhaling through your nose filling up your lungs and lengthening your spine taking in some more air and a long deep exhale out your mouth exhale all the way out emptying out your belly letting your body ground feel that connection to the floor to the earth beneath you hold the air out and then breathe in again inhaling through your nose taking in some more air and widen your shoulders open your chest and exhale out your mouth making a sound exhale all the air out and exhale out your mouth making a sound exhale all the air out squeeze the air out of your belly anchor yourself into the ground hold the air out hold the air out notice the stillness in your body and then breathe it in again taking in some more air filling up the four corners of your lungs suspend your breath and exhale exhale with a sigh really emptying out your throat emptying out your belly completely bring your navel to your spine hold the air out hold the air out notice the stillness in your body and then when you're ready breathing in again in and out through your nose feeling your breath noticing its qualities naming the qualities of your breath to yourself opening your senses listening to any sounds in your space or maybe you can hear the birds here feeling the touch of the air on your skin always staying aligned to your breath feeling each aspect of your inhalation as you breathe in noticing how your body rises your lungs expand taking in as much air as possible pausing and then exhaling out your nose following your exhale with your attention exhaling all the air out really squeezing the air out of your belly and pausing at the bottom of your exhale the magic is in the pauses and then when you're ready comfortably breathing in again through your nose and then when you're ready comfortably breathing in again through your nose filling up with air noticing that sense of expansion in your body pausing at the top and then when you're ready exhaling all the air out so bringing the four corners of your mind down into your body really feeling your body any sensations within your body just notice and sensing them giving yourself permission to let go of the narratives the stories in your mind letting gravity weight your body down feeling anchored and grounded taking a moment to sense the ground beneath you as it supports you feeling its stillness come up through your spine calming down your nervous system set your intention to connect to connect to your intuition to your heart to connect to your gut feelings that deep sense of knowing when something is right or not right for you and state your intention internally three times letting it resonate and feeling your breath in your body noticing if you go into your thoughts you might want to just label them thoughts and then gently but firmly bring your attention back to feeling your breath and feeling your body on your cushion or chair and then feeling your breath in your body on your cushion or chair asking for the support of the ground beneath you our earth that nourishes us shelters us take a moment to express gratitude for its support calling in your ancestors behind you remembering where you came from where your ancestors came from calling in their wisdom and support just imagining their presence behind you rooting you on what good work you're doing and in front of you remembering the generations to come whether it's your children your friends children and their children for the next seven generations feeling your breath in and out of your heart now bowing your head and honoring whatever emotions are present for you acknowledging any vulnerabilities or struggles that you might be going through in your life just notice them let them be feel them soften wherever they are in your body putting a hand on your heart and hand on your belly breathing in and feeling your heart and your belly expand as you breathe in a nice deep breath feeling that sense of space within your body a deep breath in of acceptance and a long deep exhale out your mouth exhaling all the air out letting go of that which no longer serves you feeling yourself rooting to the ground remembering you're here to grow and to grow tall we need to make roots and then breathe and again feeling your hands as they expand taking in some more air feeling a deep sense of connection to your heart and then exhale exhale all the air out feel that draining connect to your body connect to your heart connect to your truth breathing in breathing in some more air letting go of the mind so you can trust exhale all the air out and diving into this deep resonance underneath the stories underneath the thoughts diving into that connection to the divine that resides within your heart breathing in and out of your heart letting the touch touch of your breath soothe you calm you wherever you need it allowing a smile to come to the corners of your mouth noticing the clarity and stability of your mind and filling up your body with this deep sense of connection as you turn towards yourself now with compassion for whatever you are being challenged with in your life you are learning be gentle with yourself hold yourself putting your hands around your arms if you would like and just feel how it feels to be held holding that inner child that may have disconnected and giving them permission to awaken and be held and seen seeing an image of yourself at that age so tender and holding that inner child that all really they want is to be acknowledged so breathe together with this inner child this aspect of yourself telling him or her you are seeing I see you you are felt I feel you you are loved I love you and receive calling in above you the divine itself or a caregiver,

A teacher,

A mentor calling your angels or light beings however you see that divinity imagining them above you looking down seeing this work that you are doing of alignment and let them cover you with a shower of blessings through your crown opening your crown at the top of your head and as if you are basking in the sunshine let the warmth touch your forehead your chin your heart and your abdomen and receive this loving awareness as it goes into all of the cells of your body into your blood into your bones integrating you giving you exactly what you need to feel connected and as you sit in the connection and the bliss let your body open and soften with each breath extending your exhales to go deeper lingering in the pauses to connect even more and then bringing your hands to your heart feeling that touch of your skin against your skin tapping into your authentic self your intuitive self to your gut feelings,

Your truth and saying we may have lost our connection but my intention is to stay connected and I make a commitment to stay connected and then blessing yourself with these words I am free,

I am complete I am whole,

I am loved and then extending these blessings outward to each of us in the group that are meditating no matter where or when you are doing this meditation always in the now may each of us honor our hearts may each of us honor our pain may each of us transform any fear or anger or sadness into our own learning and truth so that we can show up to the present moment for others what we're here for,

To be compassion,

To walk compassion,

And to live compassion so consolidating our practice with three deep breaths inhale and exhale,

Exhale all the air out feeling this connection and inhaling and exhale and one more time and exhale so opening your eyes,

Feeling your own presence feeling that difference when you're in your body inhabiting your body as opposed to being caught in the narratives of the mind and we are really being challenged right now but the practice is noticing when you go off into the stories of the doubt or the worry and just to bring yourself back that's how we learn,

Is by noticing that's our special power,

Is to notice and have the awareness when we lose our presence and then bring yourself back,

It's like a practice,

It's like a dance and little by little you will see there will be subtle shifts in your life in the ways that you react,

In how you respond from your heart and you can speak your own voice so thank you so much and I will see you tomorrow and I will always mega,

Mega,

Mega love and important for me to share these with you and please share them freely if you feel anyone needs some of this natural medicine and I will be here tomorrow thank you,

Thank you so much yes,

Everybody off to dancing in your days
