Welcome,

Beautiful new mamas,

To this sacred meditation.

A space carved out just for you.

A space to reconnect with your sensual nature,

Direct love back into yourself and feel supported,

Nourished and capable as you move through the unpredictable journey of new motherhood.

In the gentle embrace of this meditation,

You can find grounding,

A centre within and open hearted clarity.

It will support you to be more present with your baby and family and clear about your individual path and purpose as a mother.

New motherhood is a phase like no other,

It can bring unpredictability to your days and nights,

Testing your emotions and endurance,

But it is also one of the greatest opportunities for personal healing.

You as a mother are not just nurturing your child,

You are re-parenting yourself,

Discovering who you are in this stage of evolution.

Amidst the newness and uncertainty,

You may encounter judgements or a lack of understanding regarding this transformed version of yourself,

But this is the time to feel,

To become aware of your senses and to come home to your breath,

Your body,

Your pleasure and your heart.

Start by grounding yourself in the present moment,

Close your eyes and take a moment to connect with the land you are on,

Feeling its support.

Take a slow,

Deep breath,

Starting at the base of your spine,

Inhale,

Allowing this breath to rise through your heart,

Your neck and up to the crown of your head.

As you exhale,

Let the energy flow slowly back down your spine,

Anchoring you into the earth beneath you.

Continue this intentional breathing,

Visualising each breath travelling through your pelvic bowl,

Your heart,

Your third eye and your crown,

Allowing you to stay connected with your core.

Now as it feels natural to you,

Introduce gentle,

Sensual movements.

Feel the swaying of your hips,

Or perhaps there is a longing in your womb,

Guiding your hands to honour this powerful space of creation.

As you roll your hips in circles,

Clockwise and anti-clockwise,

Allow your body to move with grace,

Breathe sensually and bring in the sense of smell.

Smell yourself,

Your baby if they are with you,

An essential oil,

A flower or the food in your kitchen.

Let your movements be guided by the pleasure of these scents,

Embracing the sensuality of your existence,

And acknowledge how it feels to receive yourself however you are in this moment,

Feeling,

Breathing,

Moving,

Sensing.

Now begin to hold your heart,

And if it feels good for you,

Gently caress your breasts,

Acknowledging the tenderness and power they hold.

Breathe deeply into your heart,

Allowing space for the emotions that reside there.

Your voice is a channel of healing,

Both for yourself and your baby,

It knows how to soothe,

How to express love,

And how to release what's within.

As you connect with your heart,

Take the next breath and allow whatever sounds to arise,

To surface.

Let each breath and sound be a unique expression,

A reflection of your inner self.

And as you continue to sound,

Notice how this sound emerges from your womb,

Or if you are noticing the sound is coming higher up in the body,

Allow your sounding to go deeper.

Imagine a figure eight of energy circulating around your womb,

Crossing over your belly button and coming back up around your heart.

Acknowledge the divine connection between your love and your creative energy,

Your desires.

And to breathe,

To sound,

And to move,

Keeping this connection alive.

Nurture yourself,

Just as you nurture your baby,

Hug yourself,

Play with your hair,

Your face and cherish your body through touch,

Explore your sensations,

You may wish to massage your feet.

Allow yourself to be fully present in your body,

You,

The divine mother,

Are deserving of your own pleasure and self-care.

With one hand on your womb and one on your heart,

Keep envisioning the figure eight of light moving between them and allow this energy to rise up,

Extending into your third eye.

Feel as you let your vision take shape,

What future do you see for your family,

You might have imagined it when you became pregnant or started planning to be,

Now as a mother,

What else do you feel you need to fulfil your life?

Imagine limitless possibilities,

Dream and know that by combining an open heart with your vision,

You can uncover the steps to create it and it gets to be easeful.

What's the one next step you can take to move towards this vision?

It can be as simple as allocating time to come back to this meditation to connect with yourself and your body each day.

Take some time to see what visions come your way,

What prompts are calling you forward,
