This meditation works with the breath.

This is the first thing you need to understand,

That if you are feeling overwhelmed by a situation,

If you are feeling that your mind or your emotions or the world around you or even your body somehow limits this sense of vitality,

What you can do is recognize that through the physical breath and also through the energy that is behind the breath,

You can change this in an instance.

It is so very easy.

All you have to do is remember what it's like to breathe deeply into the body so that the body feels the ecstasy of deeply breathing all the vitality that is around and present to everyone.

So it is not just a physical mechanical breath,

It's a breath where there is a sense of feeling and excitement about breathing in something that you don't know,

Breathing in the unknown.

As you do this,

Try in this moment,

As you do this,

Take a deep breath and see how interesting the feeling is when you breathe in to every point that seems beyond reach,

Deep into the abdomen,

Deep into the lungs so that the breath is totally full.

See what it's like when you breathe and expand your body,

The temple of your soul to a space where everything becomes more vital.

This information then gets communicated to the more subtle aspects of yourself.

It is very important when you take a deep breath that you breathe out.

This is what most of us find very difficult to let go.

Through the out breath,

You can allow the energy that has stagnated or that has been caught up by your mental process or by your emotional process to slowly get released from all the points in your body that hold on to that limited way of breathing.

That limited way of feeling or thinking.

Now try this.

As you breathe out,

If there is a pain or if there is a thought or a feeling that somehow takes you to those spaces where you feel helpless or you feel that you don't have the power to change or create something that is beautiful in your life,

Sense what it's like to breathe out and allow that channel of out breath to guide all those old,

Limited feelings out of your body.

Simply let them go.

And as you do this,

There is more space for the in breath.

There is more space for the unknown,

For the creative intelligence that is around you.

Notice what it's like when you breathe in with an intention to bring this unknown,

Vibrant,

Beautiful divine energy into your body.

There is a wonderful feeling when you embrace this,

When the breath is a celebration of life.

Notice how your body begins to feel good,

Begins to feel the sense of joy for those very simple things in life.

Notice how your shoulders,

Your spine,

The organs within your body,

Now more aligned with the beauty and harmony of the universe,

Are straight,

Your spine is straight,

And reaching to the higher aspects of yourself.

No longer do you feel the weight or burden of your thoughts or your feelings.

Weighing your shoulders down,

Weighing your body down and making it feel like it's imprisoned by the many,

Many worries and stresses of life.

Now,

See yourself as you breathe in,

Celebrating life,

Opening up to the world,

Opening your body.

As your shoulders move backwards a little bit so that your chest is open and your breath is full,

Notice how the heart,

The physical heart,

Feels more free.

Notice how the energy inside of your body begins to move around in a different way.

As you begin to change the physical structure,

The temple,

Your body,

You allow for more space,

For more beautiful space inside of you to bring in that that is your divine right and that is beauty and harmony.

That is what it means to be a human being.

We are here not to worry and constantly work through the difficult and limited aspects of consciousness.

We are here to celebrate and to be free.

So,

If your intention now is to be free,

What you are doing is slowly changing the physical structure that allows that freedom to manifest in a real way.

Notice how the organs inside of your body,

As you are straight and breathing in more fully,

Begin to work in a different way.

The liver,

The kidneys begin to feel more alive,

More vibrant.

As your whole body begins to feel more vibrant,

So do your emotions.

A healthy and vibrant body means that the emotions inside of you reflect towards themselves more light.

So,

The joy inside of your body begins to reflect more light towards all those feelings,

Even if they are not such nice feelings.

The reflection,

The mirror in the background is one that is much more light.

Notice how now,

With your breath open and complete,

How the emotions begin to transform in a very subtle sense,

In the beginning a very subtle sense where the emotions perhaps have a different reference point.

They don't always come back to a one-way dead-end street.

They perhaps come back to a space where you begin to see that whatever the emotions that are present inside of you,

They perhaps have a communication that is deeper than self-criticism,

Self-judgment,

Sabotage,

Or feeling bad,

Or coming back to a point where you will just go down into a space that feels difficult.

Notice how now the emotions reflect back the light that is manifest in your physical structure and begin to move upwards,

So the heart connects to the higher aspects of your consciousness and begins to connect to the higher aspects of the universe,

So the universe begins to celebrate with you.

Your emotions are not just something that you keep for yourself hidden from the world.

Actually,

The world recognizes the joy that you are now sleeping in,

The joy that you are now slowly beginning to feel inside of you.

The subtle energies in the universe here on Earth,

High up in the sky,

Beyond the sky in the universe of stars and galaxies,

They begin to chant a wonderful sound,

That is the sound that is created through the symphony of harmony,

And everything is so harmonious around you,

And when you are in touch with this harmony,

That the mantra,

The sound that is there,

Present in this symphony,

Becomes audible,

Becomes much more present.

You perhaps begin to feel this in your body,

The vibration of this symphony connects to all the cells of your body and begins to allow them to create their own harmonious symphony and communicate to the universe,

We are one,

And this oneness creates this beautiful sound,

And this sound is created together.

The whole of life,

The whole of manifestation,

On all levels,

On this physical level,

As well as on the subtle levels,

Create a beautiful sound,

And this is the sound that once you begin to recognize inside of your body and inside of your heart,

Begins to change and transform the mind and the negative thoughts that are constantly there for so many people,

Begins to change.

Listen to the symphony,

Listen to the beauty that is constantly sung to you,

Constantly chanted to you,

Deep from within this beautiful harmony that is really the essence of life.

All the rest is what I call the Maya,

The illusion.

All the wonderful theatrical games that people,

Human beings mostly,

Like to play,

Very interesting to watch,

But after a little while it doesn't really serve a purpose.

After a while we need to not just watch it as if it's some sort of interesting entertainment,

But actually we need to work to go beyond it,

And the work is where now,

As you are doing,

Where we are able to move to a space that is much more alive,

Much more free,

Because once you are in this space you can actually see what the theater is explaining for you to understand,

Showing you,

Guiding you to understand not just yourself,

But the whole meaning behind this play,

Which the theater is presenting to you.

And everyone experiences this play in a very different way,

But really the play is the same.

It's a call for your heart to come back to what is behind of this play,

What is behind those actors,

Whatever those actors may be for you,

Friends,

Different situations,

Different roles that you play with yourself,

Different situations that arise that somehow seem beyond your control.

That play is interesting to watch,

And of course for you to be part of because you are here in this moment,

But it is very interesting through this meditation where you take a deep breath and you breathe out to be detached from this play so that you can really watch it from that space of witnessing.

And the breath helps you to do this because if your physical body is attached to what is going on,

If your emotions invoke pain,

Suffering,

Fear,

Or whatever else the feeling might be,

Then the body recognizes that as your reality,

And that is the reality that you struggle within.

And to be free means letting that go,

Not ignoring it or pushing it aside or pretending it's not there,

But letting it go in that way where you are able to witness what is going on from such a detached space that you can smile and say,

Wow,

No matter what is going on,

I still sense this joy inside of me.

I still sense this sense of happiness behind whatever is going on.

I still sense what it really means to be a conscious human being.

As you breathe out,

Let go of whatever limitations prevent this consciousness from being present.

Breathe it out,

Let it go,

And come back to this wonderful sense of joy.

If you forget,

All you have to do is look around you at the reminders that are everywhere.

Listen to the beautiful sounds of animals,

Birds,

Insects that celebrate life,

Intensely enjoying the present moment.

And if your senses,

Your subtle senses,

Are able to connect to the celebration that is beyond what is manifest,

Listen and be aware of the beauty of the sunset,

The beautiful stars that shine at night.

Remember all those beautiful reminders that are there and bring them into your life just for a moment so that whatever your mind,

Whatever your emotions may be concerned about or connected to,

Get a little bit of a break so that you have the distance to actually realize that beauty is what your heart needs.

That is real nourishment.

Remember,

Through this meditation that I've shared with you,

To detach from what makes your heart feel bad,

What makes your heart lose the faith of what it means to be truly a happy human being.

Remember this as you breathe out,

To let go of those wonderful,

Interesting situations and to come back to reminders,

Firstly,

Perhaps outside of yourself and then within yourself that remind you of the harmony that brings the vibration to a higher level within your body but also for everyone else.

Those reminders are there and it is simply a matter of seeing them and connecting to them.

And as you do this,

Everything becomes much more vibrant,

Much more alive,

Much more present.

And then the mind cannot wander into the future or the past because the present is so beautiful that there is nowhere else to go,

That you begin to honor the present in a very different way.

You begin to celebrate the present through not just an idea that happens in your mind but through actual,

Practical and real ways.

And those ways are happening through your mind so your thoughts become more connected to the harmony,

Happening through your emotions so your emotions are more connected to the harmony,

Happening through your body so your body is more connected to the harmony of what it means to be present to the higher aspect of yourself.
