Let's go ahead and if you're able to stand up for this one,
Just a really quick self-love grounding embodiment practice.
And perhaps find your feet a bit wider than hip width.
And placing one hand on your heart and one on your belly and just see if you can begin to sway suddenly back and forth.
Taking turns,
Pushing one foot into the ground and then the other.
This bilateral movement and sensation in the body is very calming,
Soothing,
Nourishing for our nervous system.
And bring to mind the warmth in your chest and belly,
Almost as if you're holding a fragile baby you.
How might you sway this little sweet babe?
Maybe you bounce a little.
Just see if you can get a sense of this feeling of this very sacred,
Delicate you underneath it all that is so hungry for love.
Just see if you can radiate out your fingers.
Just some warmth,
Some acceptance.
Perhaps even saying to your heart and belly,
I see you.
I see the depth of your pain and suffering and also the joys and beauties and dreams of your heart.
Just continue rocking suddenly back and forth.
Just really being in touch with this warm,
Kind,
Nurturing,
Sacred space that you're holding.
Breathe.
Maybe even play around with bouncing up and down.
Not necessarily even having your feet leave the ground,
But almost like a bouncing to shake out and release whatever is just old gump that needs to come off.
It isn't even ours.
See if we can shake that off.
And then gradually,
Ever so gradually and gently,
Begin to slow the movement,
The bouncing or this weighing and eventually coming to find complete stillness.
Allowing your body to take in a few more breaths,
Observing the energy that you feel between where your hands meet your body.
Both how it feels giving yourself the support you need and also how it feels on the receiving end.
Feeling held and a bit more contained.
You are so damn enough and so worthy of love,
Even if your brain tells you otherwise.
Our brain is there to try to keep us safe and small and sometimes is full of shit.
So here's to you.
Cheers.
You're braver than you think.
So much courage and badass everything inside of you.
So go do life.
Be big and bright and brave and you and all kinds of good stuff like that.
Namaste.
