Hi and welcome to the present moment.

My name is George and I will be your guide today.

Take a comfortable position and place your hands upon your thighs facing upward.

Keep your spine comfortably erect and keep a mild focus between your eyebrows.

Relax your shoulders.

You can wiggle them a bit to relax them even more and keep them loose.

Feel how it feels to be here and take a deep inhalation.

As you exhale,

Relax into it.

Take one more deep inhalation.

As you exhale,

Relax even more.

Take one more deep inhalation.

And as you exhale,

Relax.

Really letting all the air come out.

Feel how it feels to be here at this moment.

And if you haven't closed your eyes,

I invite you to do so.

Closing your eyes is helping your senses turn inward.

And this will help you to generally be more present.

In every meditation,

We're choosing one point of awareness.

The point of awareness is our breath.

So I want you to bring your awareness now to the inhalation that is coming in through the nostrils and the exhalation that is coming out through the nostrils.

And allow the breath to pass through your nose effortlessly without doing anything.

Simply allowing the natural flow of breath to pass through you without resistance,

Without trying to change anything about it.

Simply letting it come in and out.

Allow yourself to simply feel all that is there right now,

This very moment.

Like the breath that is coming in and out just by itself.

Allow every thought to visit and pass through you.

Simply allow every thought to pass through you without any judgment over whether it is a good thought or a bad thought.

Simply let it arise,

Come to you,

And pass through you and pass through you without any effort,

Without your doing,

Just like your breath.

Allow your breath to simply happen just by yourself,

Without your doing,

Without trying to change anything.

Simply letting it happen effortlessly.

Allowing the breath to happen the way it wants to happen.

Simply letting it happen.

Allow every inhalation to come in,

Every exhalation to come out without your doing.

Allowing the natural movement of breath to simply be the way it wants to be.

And allow your being to simply be.

And everything that arises within you to allow everything to rise without any resistance.

Simply letting it pass through you just the way it is.

Allow every inhalation and exhalation to arise just by itself.

And allow every thought and every emotion to simply pass through you just the way it is.

Feel your being simply here,

Right now,

Peacefully,

Grounded,

And joyful.

And not because you have done something,

But simply because you have stopped doing something.

And feel that joy,

That peace,

That arises for simply being present.

And acknowledging your aliveness in the present moment.

You can wiggle your fingers and very slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to rub your hands together,

Vividly creating heat between your palms.

And place them upon your eyes.

This will help you wake up your body.

Thank you so much for taking the time with me today.

Remember,

You can always come back to the present moment.

Have a wonderful day.
